ਆਈ ਪਾਪਣਿ ਪੂਤਨਾ ਦੁਹੀ ਥਣੀ ਵਿਹੁ ਲਾਇ ਵਹੇਲੀ ।

aaee paapan pootanaa duhee thanee vihu laae vahelee |

The ill-reputed Putana applied poison on both of her teats.

ਆਇ ਬੈਠੀ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਵਿਚਿ ਨੇਹੁੰ ਲਾਇ ਨਵਹਾਣਿ ਨਵੇਲੀ ।

ਮੋਹਣੁ ਮੰਮੇ ਪਾਇਓਨੁ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਆਈ ਗਰਬ ਗਹੇਲੀ ।

mohan mame paaeon baahar aaee garab gahelee |

With great pride she pressed her breast teat in the mouth of Krishna and came out.

ਦੇਹ ਵਧਾਇ ਉਚਾਇਅਨੁ ਤਿਹ ਚਰਿਆਰਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਅਠਿਖੇਲੀ ।

deh vadhaae uchaaeian tih chariaar naar atthikhelee |

Now she expanded her body to a great extent.

ਤਿਹੁੰ ਲੋਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਾਰੁ ਦੇ ਚੰਬੜਿਆ ਗਲਿ ਹੋਇ ਦੁਹੇਲੀ ।

tihun loaan daa bhaar de chanbarriaa gal hoe duhelee |

Krishna also becoming the full weight of the three worlds hung from and stuck to her neck.

ਖਾਇ ਪਛਾੜ ਪਹਾੜ ਵਾਂਗਿ ਜਾਇ ਪਈ ਉਜਾੜਿ ਧਕੇਲੀ ।

khaae pachhaarr pahaarr vaang jaae pee ujaarr dhakelee |

Getting unconscious, and like a mountain she fell down into the forest.

ਕੀਤੀ ਮਾਊ ਤੁਲਿ ਸਹੇਲੀ ।੨੨।
