ਦੁਹ ਦਿਸ ਪਰੇ ਬੀਰ ਹਕਾਰਿ ॥

ਕਾਢਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣ ਧਾਵਤ ਮਾਰੁ ਮਾਰੁ ਉਚਾਰਿ ॥

kaadt kaadt kripaan dhaavat maar maar uchaar |

ਪਾਨ ਰੋਕਿ ਸਰੋਖ ਰਾਵਤ ਕ੍ਰੁਧ ਜੁਧ ਫਿਰੇ ॥

ਬਾਹਿ ਬਾਹਿ ਫਿਰੇ ਸੁਬਾਹਨ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਧਰਮ ਨਿਬਾਹਿ ॥

baeh baeh fire subaahan chhatr dharam nibaeh |

Pulling the bows upto their ears, they discharged the arrows and in this way, striking the blows with their weapons, they fulfilled the obligation of Kashatriyas

ਬੇਧਿ ਬੇਧਿ ਸੁ ਬਾਨ ਅੰਗ ਜੁਆਨ ਜੁਝੇ ਐਸ ॥

ਭੂਰਿ ਭਾਰਥ ਕੇ ਸਮੇ ਸਰ ਸੇਜ ਭੀਖਮ ਜੈਸ ॥੧੧੧॥
