ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਵਰਤਣਾ ਸਾਧੁ ਅਸਾਧੁ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚਿ ਵਸੈ ।

guramat duramat varatanaa saadh asaadh sangat vich vasai |

Persons keeping company of sadhus and evilmen act according to the wisdom of Guru, gurmat, and illwill respectively.

ਤਿੰਨ ਵੇਸ ਜਮਵਾਰ ਵਿਚਿ ਹੋਇ ਸੰਜੋਗੁ ਵਿਜੋਗੁ ਮੁਣਸੈ ।

naam daan isanaan taj keeratan kathaa na saadh parasai |

He has renounced rememberance of the Lord's name, charity and ablution and does not go to holy congregation to listen to discourses and kirtan, eulogies of the Lord.

ਕੁਤਾ ਚਉਕ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਐ ਚਕੀ ਚਟਣਿ ਕਾਰਣ ਨਸੈ ।
