ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੁਤ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਪਾਛੇ ਧਾਯੋ ॥

nrip sut taa ke paachhe dhaayo |

ਤਿਨ ਜੁਗਯਹਿ ਕਛੁ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਪਾਯੋ ॥

tin jugayeh kachh bhed na paayo |

Without letting him know, the Raja’s son followed the Yogi.

ਜਬ ਵਹ ਜਾਇ ਬਿਰਛ ਮੈ ਬਰਿਯੋ ॥

jab veh jaae birachh mai bariyo |

ਤਬ ਛਿਤ ਪਤਿ ਸੁਤ ਦ੍ਰੁਮ ਪਰ ਚਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੧॥

tab chhit pat sut drum par chariyo |11|

When the Yogi had entered the tree, the Raja’s son climbed the tree.(11)

ਭਯੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਜੋਗੀ ਪੁਰ ਆਯੋ ॥

bhayo praat jogee pur aayo |

ਉਤਰਿ ਭੂਪ ਸੁਤ ਤਾਲ ਬਜਾਯੋ ॥

autar bhoop sut taal bajaayo |

Next morning when the Yogi went to the town, the Raja’s son came down and clapped his hands.

ਛੋਰਿ ਕਿਵਾਰ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਤਿਨ ਦੀਨੋ ॥

chhor kivaar kuar tin deeno |

ਤਾ ਸੌ ਕੁਅਰ ਭੋਗ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਕੀਨੋ ॥੧੨॥

taa sau kuar bhog drirr keeno |12|

And, then, daringly, the prince made love with her.(l2)
