Prabhaatee, Fifth Mehl:

ਸਗਲੇ ਦੂਖ ਮਿਟੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੀਏ ਅਪਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਇਆ ॥

sagale dookh mitte sukh dee apanaa naam japaaeaa |

Eradicating all my pains, He has blessed me with peace, and inspired me to chant His Name.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਪਨੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਏ ਸਗਲਾ ਦੁਰਤੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੧॥

kar kirapaa apanee sevaa laae sagalaa durat mittaaeaa |1|

In His Mercy, He has enjoined me to His service, and has purged me of all my sins. ||1||

ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਸਰਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਇਆਲ ॥

ham baarik saran prabh deaal |

I am only a child; I seek the Sanctuary of God the Merciful.

ਅਵਗਣ ਕਾਟਿ ਕੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਏ ਮੇਰੈ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਪਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

avagan kaatt kee prabh apune raakh lee merai gur gopaal |1| rahaau |

Erasing my demerits and faults, God has made me His Own. My Guru, the Lord of the World, protects me. ||1||Pause||

ਤਾਪ ਪਾਪ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਭਏ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਗੁਸਾਈ ॥

taap paap binase khin bheetar bhe kripaal gusaaee |

My sicknesses and sins were erased in an instant, when the Lord of the World became merciful.

ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਅਰਾਧੀ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ॥੨॥

saas saas paarabraham araadhee apune satigur kai bal jaaee |2|

With each and very breath, I worship and adore the Supreme Lord God; I am a sacrifice to the True Guru. ||2||

ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਬਿਅੰਤੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ॥

agam agochar biant suaamee taa kaa ant na paaeeai |

My Lord and Master is Inaccessible, Unfathomable and Infinite. His limits cannot be found.

ਲਾਹਾ ਖਾਟਿ ਹੋਈਐ ਧਨਵੰਤਾ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥੩॥

laahaa khaatt hoeeai dhanavantaa apunaa prabhoo dhiaaeeai |3|

We earn the profit, and become wealthy, meditating on our God. ||3||

ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇਆ ॥

aatth pehar paarabraham dhiaaee sadaa sadaa gun gaaeaa |

Twenty-four hours a day, I meditate on the Supreme Lord God; I sing His Glorious Praises forever and ever.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੪॥

kahu naanak mere poore manorath paarabraham gur paaeaa |4|4|

Says Nanak, my desires have been fulfilled; I have found my Guru, the Supreme Lord God. ||4||4||
