Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:

ਗੁਰ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥

gur apune balihaaree |

I am a sacrifice to my Guru.

ਜਿਨਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥

jin pooran paij savaaree |

He has totally preserved my honor.

ਮਨ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

man chindiaa fal paaeaa |

I have obtained the fruits of my mind's desires.

ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੧॥

prabh apunaa sadaa dhiaaeaa |1|

I meditate forever on my God. ||1||

ਸੰਤਹੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥

santahu tis bin avar na koee |

O Saints, without Him, there is no other at all.

ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

karan kaaran prabh soee | rahaau |

He is God, the Cause of causes. ||Pause||

ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪਨੈ ਵਰ ਦੀਨੇ ॥

prabh apanai var deene |

My God has given me His Blessing.

ਸਗਲ ਜੀਅ ਵਸਿ ਕੀਨੇ ॥

sagal jeea vas keene |

He has made all creatures subject to me.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥

jan naanak naam dhiaaeaa |

Servant Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord,

ਤਾ ਸਗਲੇ ਦੂਖ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੨॥੫॥੬੯॥

taa sagale dookh mittaaeaa |2|5|69|

and all his sorrows depart. ||2||5||69||
