Joth Bigaas

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ।

ik oankaar satigur prasaad|

ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਮਦ ਨਰਾਇਨ ਸਰੂਪ ।

guroo naanak aamad naraaein saroop |

Guru Nanak is the complete form of Akaalpurakh,

ਹਮਾਨਾ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਰੂਪ ।੧।

hamaanaa niranjan nirankaar roop |1|

Without doubt, he is the image of the Formless and the Immaculate. (1)

ਹੱਕਸ਼ ਆਫ਼ਰੀਦਾ ਜ਼ਿ ਨੂਰਿ ਕਰਮ ।

hakash aafareedaa zi noor karam |

Waaheguru created him out of His own radiance,

ਅਜ਼ੋ ਆਲਮੇ ਰਾ ਫ਼ਯੂਜ਼ਿ ਆਤਮ ।੨।

azo aalame raa fayooz aatam |2|

The whole world, then, receives numerous boons from him. (2)

ਹੱਕਸ਼ ਬਰ-ਗੁਜ਼ੀਦਾ ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਬਰ-ਗੁਜ਼ੀਂ ।

hakash baraguzeedaa zi har baraguzeen |

Akaalpurakh has selected him out of all the selected ones,

ਨਸ਼ਾਂਦਸ਼ ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਬਰ-ਤਰੀਂ ਬਰ-ਤਰੀਂ ।੩।

nashaandash zi har baratareen baratareen |3|

And, has placed him on a higher place out of all high places. (3)

ਹੱਕਸ਼ ਗੁਫ਼ਤ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਮੁਰਸ਼ਦਲ-ਆਲਾਮੀਨ ।

hakash gufat khud murashadalaaalaameen |

Waaheguru has declared and appointed him as the prophet of both the worlds,

ਨਜਾਤੁਲਵਰਾ ਰਹਿਮਤੁਲ ਮੁਜ਼ਨਬੀਨ ।੪।

najaatulavaraa rahimatul muzanabeen |4|

Without doubt, Guru Nanak is the grace and benignity of heavenly salvation and bestowal. (4)

ਸ਼ਹਿਨਸ਼ਾਹਿ ਦਾਰੈਨ ਕਰਦਸ਼ ਖ਼ਿਤਾਬ ।

shahinashaeh daarain karadash khitaab |

The Omnipotent has addressed him as the emperor of this world and the heavens,

ਅਜ਼ੋ ਤਾਲਿਬਾਂ ਰਾ ਕਰਾਮਤ ਨਸਾਬ ।੫।

azo taalibaan raa karaamat nasaab |5|

His disciples receive a spring of super natural powers. (5)

ਹੱਕਸ਼ ਆਰਾਸਤ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਤਖ਼ਤਗਾਹਸ਼ ਬੁਲੰਦ ।

hakash aaraasat khud takhatagaahash buland |

The Lord Himself adorned his (Guru's) exalted throne,

ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਫ਼ਰੁੱਖ਼ੇ ਸਾਖ਼ਤਸ਼ ਅਰਜ਼ਮੰਦ ।੬।

zi har farakhe saakhatash arazamand |6|

And, admired him with every possible virtue and goodness. (6)

ਹਮਾ ਖ਼ਾਸਗਾਂ ਰਾ ਬਪਾਇਸ਼ ਫ਼ਗੰਦ ।

hamaa khaasagaan raa bapaaeish fagand |

The Almighty Himself directed all His near and selected ones to fall at Guru's feet,

ਮ੍ਹੁਜ਼ੱਫ਼ਰ ਲਵਾ ਆਮਦਾ ਦੇਵ ਬੰਦ ।੭।

mhuzafar lavaa aamadaa dev band |7|

And, His flag, a symbol of victory, is so tall that it challenges the sky. (7)

ਸਰੀਰਿ ਸ਼ਹਿਨਸ਼ਾਹੀਇ ਦਾਇਮਾਂ ।

sareer shahinashaahee daaeimaan |

The throne of his empire will always be stable and permanent,

ਕੁਲਾਹਿ ਸਰ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਜ਼ੀਇ ਜਾਵਿਦਾਂ ।੮।

kulaeh sar afaraazee jaavidaan |8|

And, his high-gloried crown with eclat will last for ever. (8)

ਹੱਕਸ਼ ਦਾਦ ਅਜ਼ ਗ਼ਾਇਤਿ ਮੁਕਰਮਤ ।

hakash daad az gaaeit mukaramat |

Akaalpurakh has blessed him with praises and generosity,

ਅਜ਼ੋ ਜ਼ੇਬ ਹਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੋ ਹਰ ਮੁਮਲਕਤ ।੯।

azo zeb har shahiro har mumalakat |9|

And, it is because of him that all towns and regions are so gracefully elegant. (9)

ਜ਼ਿ ਪੈਸ਼ੀਨੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ਤਰ ਆਮਦਾ ।

zi paisheeneean peshatar aamadaa |

Guru Nanak was the prophet even before his predecessor prophets,

ਬ-ਕਦਰ ਅਜ਼ ਹਮਾ ਬੇਸ਼ਤਰ ਆਮਦਾ ।੧੦।

bakadar az hamaa beshatar aamadaa |10|

And, he was much more valuable in worth and importance. (10)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਂ ਸਨਾਖ਼ਾਨਿ ਊ ।

hazaaraan brahamaan sanaakhaan aoo |

Thousands of Brahmaas are admiring Guru Nanak,

ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਬਰ-ਤਰੀਂ ਬਰ-ਤਰੀਂ ਸ਼ਾਨਿ ਊ ।੧੧।

zi har baratareen baratareen shaan aoo |11|

The rank and status of Guru Nanak is higher than the glory and splendor of all great persons. (11)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਈਸ਼ਰ ਇੰਦਰ ਦਰ ਪਾਇ ਊ ।

hazaar eeshar indar dar paae aoo |

Thousands of Ishars and Inders contained in the lotus feet of Guru Nanak.

ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਬਰ-ਤਰੀਂ ਬਰ-ਤਰੀਂ ਜਾਇ ਊ ।੧੨।

zi har baratareen baratareen jaae aoo |12|

And, his status and place is higher than all the selected and the great ones. (12)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਧਰੂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਬਿਸ਼ਨ ।

hazaaraan choon dharoo hazaaraan choon bishan |

Thousands like Dhroo and thousands like Bishan, and similarly,

ਬਸੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਸੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਕਿਸ਼ਨ ।੧੩।

base raam raajaa base kaanh kishan |13|

Numerous Raams and numerous Krishens (13)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਦੇਵੀ ਚੂੰ ਗੋਰਖ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ।

hazaaraan choon devee choon gorakh hazaar |

Thousands of gods and goddeses and thousands like Gorakh Naathh

ਕਿ ਪੇਸ਼ਿ ਕਦਮਹਾਇ ਊ ਜਾਂ-ਸਿਪਾਰ ।੧੪।

ki pesh kadamahaae aoo jaansipaar |14|

Are willing to sacrifice their lives at the feet of Guru Nanak. (14)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਸਪਹਿਰੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਸੁਮਾ ।

hazaaraan sapahiro hazaaraan sumaa |

Thousands of skies and thousands of cosmos

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਸੁਰਾ ।੧੫।

hazaaraan zameeno hazaaraan suraa |15|

Thousands of the earths and thousands of netherworlds (15)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਕੁਰਸੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਅਰਸ਼ ।

hazaaraan choon kurasee hazaaraan choon arash |

Thousands of seats of firmaments and thousands of thrones

ਬਪਾਇਸ਼ ਦਿਲੋ ਜਾਂ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ।੧੬।

bapaaeish dilo jaan khud karadaa faraz |16|

Are willing to spread their hearts and souls in the lotus feet of Guru Nanak. (16)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਨਾਸੂਤੋ ਮਲਕੁਤ ਹਮ ।

hazaaraan choon naasooto malakut ham |

To thousands of the material worlds and thousands of the worlds of gods and angels,

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਜਬਰੂਤੋ ਲਾਹੂਤ ਹਮ ।੧੭।

hazaaraan choon jabarooto laahoot ham |17|

Thousands of the regions representing the forms of Waaheguru, and thousands of heavens; (17)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮਕੀਨੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮਕਾਂ ।

hazaaraan makeeno hazaaraan makaan |

To thousands of inhabitants and thousands of localities

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਜ਼ਮਾਂ ।੧੮।

hazaaraan zameeno hazaaraan zamaan |18|

And, to thousands of earths and thousands of ages (18)

ਹੱਕ ਅਫ਼ਗੰਦਾ ਦਰ ਪਾਇ ਊ ਬੰਦਾ ਵਾਰ ।

hak afagandaa dar paae aoo bandaa vaar |

Akaalprakh has directed (them all) at the feet of Guru Nanak as servitors,

ਜ਼ਹੇ ਫ਼ਜਲੋ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਾਇਸ਼ਿ ਕਿਰਦਗਾਰ ।੧੯।

zahe fajalo bakhashaaeish kiradagaar |19|

We are eternally grateful to and willing to sacrifice ourselves for Waaheguru for such a bestowal and kindness. (19)

ਮੁਨੱਵਰ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਆਲਮ ਬਹੱਕ ।

munavar azo har do aalam behak |

Both the worlds are radiant only because of Guru Nanak,

ਹੱਕਸ਼ ਦਾਦ ਬਰ ਜੁਮਲਾ ਮੁਕਬਲ ਸਬੱਕ ।੨੦।

hakash daad bar jumalaa mukabal sabak |20|

Akaalpurakh has designated him superior than all the other selected nobles and the elite. (20)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂ ਆਦਮ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਹੱਵਾ ।

hazaaraan choo aadam hazaaraan havaa |

Thousands of people and thousands of winds and

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮਲਾਇਕ ਬਪਾਇਸ਼ ਫ਼ਿਦਾ ।੨੧।

hazaaraan malaaeik bapaaeish fidaa |21|

Thousands of gods and goddesses are willing to lay themselves at the feet of Guru Nanak as sacrificial objects. (21)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਨਸ਼ਾਹ ਪੇਸ਼ਸ਼ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ।

hazaaraan shahinashaah peshash gulaam |

Thousands of emperors are Guru Nanak's slaves in attendance,

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਖ਼ੁੱਰੋ ਮਾਹਸ਼ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਲਾਮ ।੨੨।

hazaaraan khuro maahash andar salaam |22|

Thousands of suns and moons keep bowing to salute Guru Nanak. (22)

ਹਮੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਸਤੇ ਹਮੂ ਅੰਗਦ ਅਸਤ ।

hamoo naanak asate hamoo angad asat |

Nanak and Angad are one and the same,

ਹਮੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਅਫ਼ਜ਼ਲੋ ਅਮਜਦ ਅਸਤ ।੨੩।

hamoo amaradaas afazalo amajad asat |23|

And, the master of largess and great praises, Amar Das, is also the same. (23)

ਹਮੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸੋ ਹਮੂ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਅਸਤ ।

hamoo raamadaaso hamoo arajun asat |

Ram Das and Arjun are also one and the same (as Guru Nanak)

ਹਮੂ ਹਰਗੋਬਿੰਦੋ ਅਕਰਮੋ ਅਹਿਸਨ ਅਸਤ ।੨੪।

hamoo haragobindo akaramo ahisan asat |24|

The greatest and the best of all, Hargobind, is also the same. (24)

ਹਮੂ ਹਸਤ ਹਰਿਰਾਇ ਕਰਤਾ ਗੁਰੂ ।

hamoo hasat hariraae karataa guroo |

Guru Har Rai is also the same, to whom

ਬਦ ਆਸ਼ਕਾਰਾ ਹਮਾ ਪੁਸ਼ਤੇ ਰੂ ।੨੫।

bad aashakaaraa hamaa pushate roo |25|

The observed and reversed sides of every thing become absolutely clear and apparent. (25)

ਹਮੂ ਹਰਿਕਿਸ਼ਨ ਆਮਦਾ ਸਰ-ਬੁਲੰਦ ।

hamoo harikishan aamadaa sarabuland |

The prominent and distinguished Harekishen is also the same,

ਅਜ਼ੋ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਉਮੀਦਿ ਹਰ ਮੁਸਤਮੰਦ ।੨੬।

azo haasil umeed har musatamand |26|

From whom, the wishes of every needy person are fulfilled. (26)

ਹਮੂ ਹਸਤ ਤੇਗਿ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਗੁਰੂ ।

hamoo hasat teg bahaadar guroo |

Guru Teg Bahaadar is the same also,

ਕਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਮਦ ਅਜ਼ ਨੂਰਿ ਊ ।੨੭।

ki gobind singh aamad az noor aoo |27|

From whose radiance emanated Gobind Singh. (27)

ਹਮੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਮੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਸਤ ।

hamoo guroo gobind singh hamoo naanak asat |

Guru Gobind Singh and Guru Nanak are one and the same,

ਹਮੂ ਸ਼ਬਦਿ ਊ ਜ਼ੌਹਰੋ ਮਾਨਕ ਅਸਤ ।੨੮।

hamoo shabad aoo zauaharo maanak asat |28|

Whose words and messages are diamonds and pearls. (28)

ਚਿ ਜੌਹਰ ਚੁਨਾਂ ਜੌਹਰਿ ਹੱਕ ਜਲਾ ।

chi jauahar chunaan jauahar hak jalaa |

His word is a precious jewel that has been tempered with the real Truth,

ਚਿ ਮਾਨਕ ਚੁਨਾਂ ਮਾਨਕਿ ਹੱਕ ਜ਼ਿਆ ।੨੯।

chi maanak chunaan maanak hak ziaa |29|

His word is a diamond which has been blessed with the shine of the real Truth. (29)

ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਕਾਲਿ ਕੁਦੁਸ ਆਮਦਾ ਕੁਦੁਸਤਰ ।

zi har kaal kudus aamadaa kudusatar |

He is more sacred than every sacred word,

ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਰੁਬਾਅ ਸੁਦਸ ਆਮਦਾ ਸੁਬੁਸਤਰ ।੩੦।

zi har rubaa sudas aamadaa subusatar |30|

And, he is more elevated than all the four types of mineral resources and six types of manifestations. (30)

ਪਜ਼ੀਰਾਇ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਨਿ ਊ ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਜਿਹਤ ।

pazeeraae faramaan aoo shash jihat |

His command is obeyed in all the six directions,

ਮੁਨੱਵਰ ਅਜ਼ੇ ਦਾਇਮਾ ਸਲਤਨਤ ।੩੧।

munavar aze daaeimaa salatanat |31|

And, the entire kingdom is illuminated because of him. (31)

ਬ-ਹਰ ਦੋ ਜਹਾਂ ਕੌਸਿ ਸਾਹੀਇ ਊ ।

baehar do jahaan kauas saahee aoo |

The beat of His kettle-drum resonates in both the worlds,

ਜ਼ਹੇ ਫ਼ਲਰਿ-ਗੀਹਾਂ ਖ਼ੁਦਾਈਇ ਊ ।੩੨।

zahe falarageehaan khudaaeee aoo |32|

And, His godliness is the glory of the world. (32)

ਬੁਲੰਦ ਅਖ਼ਤਰਸ਼ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਆਲਮ ਫ਼ਰੋਜ਼ ।

buland akhatarash har do aalam faroz |

His elevated prominence illuminates both the worlds,

ਕਜ਼ੋ ਆਮਦਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨਾਨਸ਼ ਬਸੋਜ਼ ।੩੩।

kazo aamadaa dushamanaanash basoz |33|

And, it burns down the enemies. (33)

ਜ਼ਿ ਮਾਹੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਂ ਤਾ ਸਰਿ ਲਾ-ਮਕਾਂ ।

zi maahee zameen taa sar laamakaan |

From the fish in the netherworld to the highest eternal limits,

ਹਮਾ ਫ਼ਿਦਵੀਇ ਨਾਮਿ ਪਾਕਿਸ਼ ਬਜਾਂ ।੩੪।

hamaa fidavee naam paakish bajaan |34|

The whole world follows his sacred Naam with their heart and soul. (34)

ਮਲੂਕਿ ਮਲਿਕ ਤਾਅਤ ਅੰਦੇਸ਼ਿ ।

malook malik taat andesh |

Kings and gods remember and worship Him in their meditation,

ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਕੇਸ਼ ਫ਼ਰਖ਼ੰਦਾ-ਤਰ ਕੇਸ਼ਿ ਊ ।੩੫।

zi har kesh farakhandaatar kesh aoo |35|

And, His belief and faith are much more fortunate and sublime than every other religion. (35)

ਚਿ ਕੈਸਰ ਚਿ ਖ਼ਾਕਾਂ ਹਜਾਰਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ।

chi kaisar chi khaakaan hajaaraan hazaar |

How about millions of Kaisers, emperors of Germany and millions of Mongolian kings

ਚਿ ਕਿਸਰਾ ਚਿ ਕਾਊਸ ਬੇਸ਼ ਅਜ਼ ਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ ।੩੬।

chi kisaraa chi kaaoos besh az shumaar |36|

How about innumerable Nausheervaans and countless emperors of Iran (36)

ਚਿ ਫ਼ੈਰੋ ਚਿ ਫ਼ਗਫ਼ੂਰਿ ਵਾਲਾ-ਗਾਹ ।

chi fairo chi fagafoor vaalaagaah |

Whether we talk abouit Egyptian kings or Chinese rulers of high rank,

ਬਪਾਇਸ਼ ਹਮਾ ਬੰਦਾ-ਇ ਖ਼ਾਕ-ਰਾਹ ।੩੭।

bapaaeish hamaa bandaae khaakaraah |37|

They all are the dust of his lotus feet (dust of the path on which he treads) (37)

ਹਮਾ ਫ਼ਿਦਵੀ ਓ ਬੰਦਾ-ਇ ਪਾਇ ਊ ।

hamaa fidavee o bandaae paae aoo |

All these people adore his feet and are his servitors and sleves,

ਪਜ਼ੀਰਿੰਦਾਇ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਆਲਾਇ ਊ ।੩੮।

pazeerindaae hukam aalaae aoo |38|

And, all of them are the followers of his divine commands. (38)

ਚਿ ਸੁਲਤਾਨਿ ਈਰਾਂ ਚਿ ਖ਼ਾਨਿ ਖ਼ੁਤਨ ।

chi sulataan eeraan chi khaan khutan |

Whether it be the Sultaan of Iran, or Khan of Khutan

ਚਿ ਦਾਰਾਇ ਤੂਰਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਹਿ ਯਮਨ ।੩੯।

chi daaraae tooraan shaeh yaman |39|

Whether it be the Daaraa of Tooraan, or the king of Yemen (39)

ਚਿ ਕੁੰਤਾਲਿ ਰੂਸੋ ਚਿ ਸੁਲਤਾਨਿ ਹਿੰਦ ।

chi kuntaal rooso chi sulataan hind |

Whether it be the Tsar of Russia, or the ruler of India

ਚਿ ਹੁੱਕਾਮਿ ਦੱਕਨ ਚਿ ਰਾਇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ੰਦ ।੪੦।

chi hukaam dakan chi raae khazand |40|

Whether it be the officials of the South or those fortunate Raos (40)

ਜ਼ਿ ਮਸ਼ਰਿਕ ਬ-ਮਗ਼ਰਿਬ ਹਮਾ ਸਰਵਰਾਂ ।

zi masharik bamagarib hamaa saravaraan |

All the chiefs and the kings from the east to the west

ਪਜ਼ੀਰਾਇ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਨਿ ਕੁਦਸਸ਼ ਬਜਾਂ ।੪੧।

pazeeraae faramaan kudasash bajaan |41|

Are obeying his sacred command even at the cost of their lives. (41)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਕਿਊਮਰਸੋ ਜਮਸ਼ੇਦੋ ਜ਼ਾਰ ।

hazaaraan kiaoomaraso jamashedo zaar |

Thousands of emperors of olden Iran and tzars of Russsia

ਕਮਰ ਬਸਤਾ ਦਰ ਖ਼ਿਦਮਤਸ਼ ਬੰਦਾ ਵਾਰ ।੪੨।

kamar basataa dar khidamatash bandaa vaar |42|

Are standing by, with their folded hands like slaves, ready to serve him. (42)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਰੁਸਤਮ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਸਾਮ ।

hazaaraan choon rusatam hazaaraan choon saam |

Thousands like Rustam and Saam, father of Rustam

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਅਸਫ਼ੰਦ ਯਾਰਸ਼ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ।੪੩।

hazaaraan choon asafand yaarash gulaam |43|

And thousands of Asfand Yaars, the son of Gustapus who was blinded by Rustam with his arrow and then killed, are his slaves. (43)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਜਮਨਾ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਚੂੰ ਗੰਗ ।

hazaaraan choon jamanaa hazaaraan choon gang |

Thousands of rivers like Jamnaa and Gangaa

ਬਪਾ ਅੰਦਰਸ਼ ਸਰ ਨਿਹਾਦਾ ਜ਼ਿ ਨੰਗ ।੪੪।

bapaa andarash sar nihaadaa zi nang |44|

Bow their heads respectfully on his lotus feet. (44)

ਚਿਹ ਇੰਦਰ-ਆਦਿਕਾਨੋ ਚਿਹ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਆਦਿਕਾਂ ।

chih indaraaadikaano chih brahamaaadikaan |

Whether (we talk of) gods like Indar or Brahmaa

ਚਿਹ ਰਾਮ-ਆਦਿਕਾਨੋ ਚਿਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ-ਆਦਕਾਂ ।੪੫।

chih raamaaadikaano chih krishanaaadakaan |45|

Whether (we talk about) gods like Raam or Krishen (45)

ਜ਼ਬਾਨਿ ਹਮਾ ਕਾਸਿਰ ਅਜ਼ ਵਸਫ਼ਿ ਊ ।

zabaan hamaa kaasir az vasaf aoo |

All of them are unable and inadequate to describe his eclats,

ਹਮਾ ਖ਼ਾਸਤਗਾਰਿੰਦਾਇ ਲੁਤਫ਼ਿ ਊ ।੪੬।

hamaa khaasatagaarindaae lutaf aoo |46|

And, All of them are the seekers of his blessings and bestowals. (46)

ਬ-ਹਰ ਦੀਪੋ ਹਰ ਸੂਇ ਕੌਸ਼ਸ਼ ਬੁਲੰਦ ।

baehar deepo har sooe kauashash buland |

His fame is being celebrated on the beat of a drum in all islands and directions,

ਬ-ਹਰ ਮਮਿਲਕਤ ਨਾਮਿ ਊ ਅਰਜ਼ਮੰਦ ।੪੭।

baehar mamilakat naam aoo arazamand |47|

And, his name is being honored in every country and region. (47)

ਬ-ਹਰ ਖ਼ੰਦੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਦਾਸਤਾਂ ।

baehar khando brahimandd azo daasataan |

His tales are talked about and discussed in every universe and cosmic region,

ਪਜ਼ੀਰਾਇ ਹੁਕਮਸ਼ ਹਮਾਂ ਰਾਸਤਾਂ ।੪੮।

pazeeraae hukamash hamaan raasataan |48|

And, all the connoisseurs of truth delightfully accept and follow his command. (48)

ਸੁਰਾ ਤਾ ਸਮਾ ਜੁਮਲਾ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਂ-ਬਰਸ਼ ।

suraa taa samaa jumalaa faramaanbarash |

Everyone from the nethgerworld to the seventh sky are the followers of his orders,

ਜ਼ਿ ਮਹਿਤਾਬੋ ਮਾਹੀ ਹਮਾ ਚਾਕਰਸ਼ ।੪੯।

zi mahitaabo maahee hamaa chaakarash |49|

And, everyone from the moon to the fish deep below the earth are his servitors and slaves. (49)

ਕਰਮਹਾ ਵ ਅਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਲਿ ਊ ਬੇ ਹਸਾ ।

karamahaa v afazaal aoo be hasaa |

His blessings and bestowals are infinite,

ਕਰਾਮਾਤੋ ਇਹਜਾਜ਼ਿ ਊ ਕਿਬਰੀਆ ।੫੦।

karaamaato ihajaaz aoo kibareea |50|

And, His miracles and antics are divine and celestial. (50)

ਜ਼ੁਬਾਂ-ਹਾ ਬ-ਤੌਸੀਫ਼ਿ ਊ ਗੁੰਗੋ ਲਾਲ ।

zubaanhaa batauaseef aoo gungo laal |

All the tongues are dumbstruck in praising him,

ਸਖ਼ੁਨ ਰਾ ਬ-ਵਸਫ਼ਸ਼ ਚਿ ਹੱਦੋ ਮਜਾਲ ।੫੧।

sakhun raa bavasafash chi hado majaal |51|

Neither any one can describe his eclat to any limits nor has enough courage to do so. (51)

ਕਰੀਮੁਲ-ਸਜਾਇਆ ਜ਼ਮੀਲੁਲ ਖ਼ਸਾਲ ।

kareemulasajaaeaa zameelul khasaal |

By nature, he is generous, and comeliness is in his character,

ਅਮੂਮੁਲ-ਅਤਾਇਆ ਸ਼ਮੂਮਲ ਨਵਾਲ ।੫੨।

amoomulaataaeaa shamoomal navaal |52|

He is known for his generosities, and is remembered for his unlimited gifts. (52)

ਸਫ਼ੀਉਲ-ਵਰਾਇਆ ਜ਼ਮਾਨੁਲ-ਵੁਰਾ ।

safeeaulavaraaeaa zamaanulavuraa |

He is desirous of condoning the sins of the populace,

ਮਹੀਤੁਲ-ਸਖ਼ਾਇਆ ਜ਼ਕਾ-ਉਲ-ਹੁਦਾ ।੫੩।

maheetulasakhaaeaa zakaaulahudaa |53|

and he is the guarantor of the entire creations. (53)

ਨਜਾਤੁਲ-ਅਵਾਮੋ ਅਮਾਨੁਲ-ਅਨਾਮ ।

najaatulaavaamo amaanulaanaam |

He is the redeemer of the people and he is the deposit in trust for all of them;

ਜਲਾ ਯਾਫ਼ਤਾ ਜ਼ੂ ਗ਼ਮਾਮਿ ਜ਼ਲਾਮ ।੫੪।

jalaa yaafataa zoo gamaam zalaam |54|

Even the darkest clouds become shining with his touch. (54)

ਵਫ਼ੂਰੁਲ ਅਤਾ ਓ ਅਮੀਮੁਲ ਨਅਮ ।

vafoorul ataa o ameemul nam |

He is the treasure of bestowals and a great collection of blessings,

ਕਸੀਰੁਲ ਫ਼ਯੂਜ਼ੋ ਕਫ਼ੀਉਲ ਕਰਮ ।੫੫।

kaseerul fayoozo kafeeaul karam |55|

He is the abundance of beneficence and ultimate in generosity. (55)

ਫ਼ਰਾਜ਼ਿੰਦਾਇ ਰਾਇਤਿ ਅਦਲੋ ਦਾਦ ।

faraazindaae raaeit adalo daad |

He unfurls and waves the flag of wisdom and justice,

ਫ਼ਰਾਜ਼ਿੰਦਾਇ ਦੀਦਾਇ ਇਅਤਕਾਦ ।੫੬।

faraazindaae deedaae iatakaad |56|

He further glistens the eyes of trust. (56)

ਅਜ਼ੀਮੁਲ-ਮਨਾਜ਼ਿਲ ਰਫ਼ੀ-ਉਲ-ਮਕਾਂ ।

azeemulamanaazil rafeeaulamakaan |

He is the one with lofty palaces and tall mansions,

ਕਰੀਮੁਲ-ਸ਼ਮਾਇਲ ਮਨੀਅ-ਉਲ-ਨਿਸ਼ਾਂ ।੫੭।

kareemulashamaaeil maneeaulanishaan |57|

He is generous in his character and habits, and gentle and suave in his facial features. (57)

ਮੁਕੱਦਸ ਜਨਾਬੋ ਮੁਅੱਲਾ ਖ਼ਿਤਾਬ ।

mukadas janaabo mualaa khitaab |

Sacred is His court, and higher is His title,

ਗਦਾਇਸ਼ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮਹਿ ਓ ਆਫਤਾਬ ।੫੮।

gadaaeish hazaaraan meh o aafataab |58|

Thousands of moons and suns are begging at His door. (58)

ਮੁਆਲੀ ਮਦਾਰਿਜ ਅਵਾਲੀ ਪਨਾਹ ।

muaalee madaarij avaalee panaah |

His ranks are higher and He is a great refuge,

ਅਲੀਮਿ ਰਮੁਜ਼ਿ ਸਫ਼ੇਦੋ ਸਿਆਹ ।੫੯।

aleem ramuz safedo siaah |59|

He is the Knower of all the good and the bad secrets. (59)

ਮਕੱਦੁਸ ਮਦਾਰਿਜ ਫ਼ਖ਼ੀਮੁਲ ਨਵਾਲ ।

makadus madaarij fakheemul navaal |

He sanctifies different regions and is the donor of benedictions,

ਤਆਲਾ ਮਰਾਤਬ ਅਮੀਮੁਲ-ਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਲ ।੬੦।

taalaa maraatab ameemulafazaal |60|

He elevates the status and is the embodiment of compassion. (60)

ਮੁਅੱਜ਼ਮ ਸ਼ਰਾਫ਼ਿ ਸਤੂਦਾ ਖ਼ਸਾਲ ।

muazam sharaaf satoodaa khasaal |

He is great in His nobility and is most appreciated for His characteristics,

ਮੁਕੱਰਮ ਖ਼ਸਾਇਲ ਮੁਨੱਵਰ ਜਮਾਲ ।੬੧।

mukaram khasaaeil munavar jamaal |61|

He is respected for His customs and habits, and is praiseworthy for His form and shape. (61)

ਜਮਾਲਿਸ਼ ਹਮਾ ਕੂਰਾ-ਇ ਜ਼ੁਲਜਲਾਲ ।

jamaalish hamaa kooraae zulajalaal |

His elegance and radiance is the circumference of the Divine grandeur,

ਸ਼ਕੋਹਸ਼ ਹਮਾ ਅਜ਼ਮਤਿ ਲਾ-ਜ਼ਵਾਲ ।੬੨।

shakohash hamaa azamat laazavaal |62|

His glory and pomp is eternal and his eclat indestructible. (62)

ਜਮੀਮੁਲ ਸਫ਼ਾਤੋ ਜਜ਼ੀਲੁਲ ਸਨਾ ।

jameemul safaato jazeelul sanaa |

He is beautiful because of his noble qualities, and is perfect in his virtues,

ਕਫ਼ੀਲੁਲ ਜਰਾਇਮ ਵਕੀਲੁਲ ਵਰਾ ।੬੩।

kafeelul jaraaeim vakeelul varaa |63|

He is condoner of the sins and is the supporter of and advocates the cause of the world. (63)

ਕਰੀਮੁਲ ਮਨਿਸ਼ ਮਾਲਕਿ ਫ਼ੈਜ਼ੋ ਜੂਦ ।

kareemul manish maalak faizo jood |

He is generous by nature and is the master of blessings and generosity,

ਹਮਾ ਕੁਦਸੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ਿ ਊ ਦਰ ਸਜੂਦ ।੬੪।

hamaa kudaseean pesh aoo dar sajood |64|

All angels prostrate before him. (64)

ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿ ਅਰਜ਼ੋ ਸਮਾਵਾਤੋ ਅਰਸ਼ ।

khudaavand arazo samaavaato arash |

He is the All-powerful master of the earth, the skies and the cosmos,

ਮੁਨੱਵਰ-ਕੁਨਿ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਤ ਆਬਾਦ ਫ਼ਰਸ਼ ।੬੫।

munavarakun zulamat aabaad farash |65|

He provides illumination in the darkest porches of the world. (65)

ਜ਼ੂਏ ਮਜਦੋ ਤਖ਼ਸੀਸੋ ਤਫ਼ਖ਼ੀਰ ਹਾ।

zooe majado takhaseeso tafakheer haa|

He is, in fact, is the light of maturity and courtesy,

ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿ ਤਮਜ਼ੀਦੋ ਤੌਕੀਰ ਹਾ ।੬੬।

khudaavand tamazeedo tauakeer haa |66|

He is the master of status and praises. (66)

ਵਲੀ-ਉਲ-ਤਫ਼ਾਜ਼ੀਲੋ ਤਕਰੀਮ ਹਾ ।

valeeaulatafaazeelo takareem haa |

He is the prophet of virtues and blessings,

ਅਮੀਮੁਲ ਤਕਰੀਮੋ ਤਨਈਮ ਹਾ ।੬੭।

ameemul takareemo taneem haa |67|

He is the embodiment of boons and bestowals. (67)

ਵਫ਼ੂਰੁਲ ਤਜ਼ਾਜ਼ੀਲੋ ਇਜਲਾਲ ਹਾ ।

vafoorul tazaazeelo ijalaal haa |

He is the 'abundance' of generosities and wisdom,

ਕਸੀਰੁਲ ਤਕਾਮੀਲੋ ਇਕਮਾਲ ਹਾ ।੬੮।

kaseerul takaameelo ikamaal haa |68|

He is the 'collection' of accomplished and perfect persons. (68)

ਅਮੀਮੁਲ ਅਤੀਆਤ ਕਾਮਿਲ ਅਯਾਰ ।

ameemul ateeaat kaamil ayaar |

He is the manifestation and perfect jeweler of the offers and gifts.

ਪਜ਼ੀਰਿੰਦਾਇ ਇਜਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਖ਼ਾਕਸਾਰ ।੬੯।

pazeerindaae ijaz har khaakasaar |69|

He recognizes and accedes to the helplessness of the lowly and meek.(69)

ਮੁਫ਼ਖ਼ੱਰੁਲ ਨਬਾਇਲ ਜਜ਼ੀਲੁਲ ਜਮੀਲ ।

mufakharul nabaaeil jazeelul jameel |

He is the pride of the elderly and kings and chief of the amiable and the suave.

ਕਸੀਰੁਲ ਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਇਲ ਜਲੀਲੁਲ ਨਬੀਲ ।੭੦।

kaseerul fazaaeil jaleelul nabeel |70|

He is the abundance of blessings and representative of the competent, dexterous and the intelligent. (70)

ਜ਼ਿ ਨੁਰਸ਼ ਜਹਾਂ ਯਾਫ਼ਤਾ ਜ਼ੇਬੋ ਫ਼ਰ ।

zi nurash jahaan yaafataa zebo far |

The world has gained beauty, splendor and glory from his radiance,

ਜ਼ਿ ਫ਼ੈਜ਼ਸ਼ ਮਕੀਨੋ ਮਕਾਂ ਬਹਿਰਾਵਰ ।੭੧।

zi faizash makeeno makaan bahiraavar |71|

The world and its people have profited a great deal from his blessings. (71)

ਬ-ਦਸਤਸ਼ ਫ਼ਰੋਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੋ ਗੌਹਰ ਚੂੰ ਮਿਹਰ ।

badasatash farozaan do gauahar choon mihar |

He has two diamonds in his hand that are brilliant like the Sun,

ਯਕੇ ਜਾਇ ਫ਼ਜਲੋ ਦਿਗਰ ਜਾਇ ਕਹਿਰ ।੭੨।

yake jaae fajalo digar jaae kahir |72|

One of them represents beneficence and the other disaster and wrath. (72)

ਬ-ਅੱਵਲ ਜਹਾਂ ਰਾ ਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਨੁਮਾ ।

baaval jahaan raa shudaa hak numaa |

Due to the first (diamond), this world becomes a demonstration of truth,

ਬ-ਸਾਨੀ ਹਮਾ ਜ਼ੁਲਮੋ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਤ ਜ਼ਦਾ ।੭੩।

basaanee hamaa zulamo zulamat zadaa |73|

And, second is capable to dispel all darkness and tyranny. (73)

ਹਮਾ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਤੋ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਰਾ ਸਾਖ਼ਤ ਦੂਰ ।

hamaa zulamato zulam raa saakhat door |

He has dispelled all the darkness and cruelty from this world,

ਜਹਾਂ ਦਰ ਜਹਾਂ ਜ਼ੇ ਰਯਾਹੋ ਸਰੂਰ ।੭੪।

jahaan dar jahaan ze rayaaho saroor |74|

And, it is because of him that the whole world is filled with aroma and ecstacy. (74)

ਲਕਾਇਸ਼ ਮੁਨੱਵਰ ਜ਼ਿ ਨੂਰਿ ਅਜ਼ਲ ।

lakaaeish munavar zi noor azal |

His face is lit with the Devine eclat,

ਵਜੂਦਸ਼ ਵ-ਅਨਵਾਰਿ ਹੱਕ ਲਮ ਯਜ਼ਲ ।੭੫।

vajoodash vaanavaar hak lam yazal |75|

And his body is eternal due to the refulgence of Akaalpurakh. (75)

ਚਿਹ ਆਅਲਾ ਚਿਹ ਅਦਨਾ ਹਮ ਬਰ ਦਰਸ਼ ।

chih aalaa chih adanaa ham bar darash |

Whether big or small, high or low, all, on his doorsteps,

ਸਰ ਅਫ਼ਗੰਦਾ ਵ ਬੰਦਾ ਓ ਚਾਕਰਸ਼ ।੭੬।

sar afagandaa v bandaa o chaakarash |76|

Are standing as slaves and servitors with their heads bowed. (76)

ਚਿ ਸੁਲਤਾਂ ਚਿ ਦਰਵੇਸ਼ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਬਹਿਰਾਮੰਦ ।

chi sulataan chi daravesh azo bahiraamand |

Whether kings or whether beggars, all profit from his kindness,

ਚਿ ਉਲਵੀ ਚਿ ਸਿਫ਼ਲੀ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਸਰਬੁਲੰਦ ।੭੭।

chi ulavee chi sifalee azo sarabuland |77|

Whether heavenly or whether earthly people, all become respectable because of him. (77)

ਚਿਹ ਪੀਰੋ ਚਿਹ ਬਰਨਾ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ।

chih peero chih baranaa azo kaamayaab |

Whether older folks or the youngsters, all have their wishes fulfilled from him,

ਚਿਹ ਦਾਨਾ ਚਿਹ ਨਾਦਾਂ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਪੁਰ ਸਵਾਬ ।੭੮।

chih daanaa chih naadaan azo pur savaab |78|

Whether the wise or the naive, all are able to do good, virtuous and charitable deeds because of him. (78)

ਬ-ਕਲਜੁਗ ਚੁਨਾਂ ਸਤਿਜੁਗ ਆਵਰਦ ਬਾਜ਼ ।

bakalajug chunaan satijug aavarad baaz |

He has brought Satgujj during the age of Kaljugg in such a way

ਕਿ ਖ਼ੁਰਦੋ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਆਮਦਾ ਰਾਸਤ-ਬਾਜ਼ ।੭੯।

ki khurado bazurag aamadaa raasatabaaz |79|

That, young and old, all have become disciples and followers of truth. (79)

ਹਮਾ ਕਿਜ਼ਬੋ ਨਾਰਾਸਤੀ ਗਸ਼ਤ ਦੂਰ ।

hamaa kizabo naaraasatee gashat door |

All falsehood and fraud were driven away,

ਸ਼ਬਿ ਤੀਰਹ ਰਖ਼ਸ਼ਾਂ ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹਮਚੂ ਨੂਰ ।੮੦।

shab teerah rakhashaan shadaa hamachoo noor |80|

And, the pitch-dark night became brightened emitting refulgence. (80)

ਜ਼ਿ ਦੈਤੋ ਜ਼ਿ ਦਾਨਬ ਜਹਾਂ ਕਰਦ ਪਾਕ ।

zi daito zi daanab jahaan karad paak |

He spared the world from the evils of monsters and demons and made it sacred,

ਹਮਾ ਜ਼ੁਲਮੋ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਤ ਜ਼ਦੂਦਾ ਜ਼ਿ ਖ਼ਾਕ ।੮੧।

hamaa zulamo zulamat zadoodaa zi khaak |81|

And he reduced to dust all darkness and tyranny from the face of the earth. (81)

ਅਜ਼ੋ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਆਮਦ ਸ਼ਬਿ ਆਲਮੋ ।

azo rauashan aamad shab aalamo |

The dark night of the world became brightened due to him,

ਨਮਾਂਦਾ ਬ-ਗੀਤੀ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਜ਼ਾਲਿਮੋ ।੮੨।

namaandaa bageetee azo zaalimo |82|

And, there remained no tyrants any more because of him. (82)

ਜ਼ਮਾਨੇ ਬਰ ਆਰਾਸਤ ਅਜ਼ ਰਾਇ ਓ ਹੋਸ਼ ।

zamaane bar aaraasat az raae o hosh |

This world is ornamented because of his wisdom and viewpoint,

ਅਜ਼ੋ ਦੇਗਿ ਹਰ ਦਾਨਿਸ਼ ਆਮਦ ਬਜ਼ੋਸ਼ ।੮੩।

azo deg har daanish aamad bazosh |83|

And, it is because of him that every level of intellect gets excited and outbursts with passion. (83)

ਹਮਾ ਦੀਦਾ ਆਮਦ ਤਨਿ ਕੁਦਸਿ ਊ ।

hamaa deedaa aamad tan kudas aoo |

His entire chaste body is all eyes and eyes alone,

ਹਵੈਦਾ ਬ-ਚਸ਼ਮਸ਼ ਹਮਾ ਪੁਸ਼ਤ ਰੂ ।੮੪।

havaidaa bachashamash hamaa pushat roo |84|

And, the whole past and future events manifest before his eyes. (84)

ਹਮਾ ਰਾਜ਼ਿ ਆਲਮ ਬਰੋ ਆਸ਼ਕਾਰ ।

hamaa raaz aalam baro aashakaar |

All the mysteries of the world are perceptible to him.

ਹਮਾ ਚੋਬਿ ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਅਜ਼ ਦਮਸ਼ ਬਾਰਦਾਰ ।੮੫।

hamaa chob khushak az damash baaradaar |85|

And, even the dry wood of a stem, with his strength, starts to bear fruits. (85)

ਚਿਹ ਅੰਜਮ ਚਿਹ ਅਫ਼ਲਾਕ ਮਹਿਕੂਮਿ ਊ ।

chih anjam chih afalaak mahikoom aoo |

Whether (we talk about) the stars or the skies, all are his subjects,

ਚਿਹ ਬਾਲਾ ਓ ਚਿਹ ਪਸਤ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਮਿ ਊ ।੮੬।

chih baalaa o chih pasat manazoom aoo |86|

Everyone, high and low, is under his management and control. (86)

ਚਿਹ ਖ਼ਾਕੋ ਚਿਹ ਆਤਿਸ਼ ਚਿਹ ਬਾਦੋ ਚਿਹ ਆਬ ।

chih khaako chih aatish chih baado chih aab |

Whether it is the dust or the fire, whether it is the wind or the water,

ਚਿਹ ਖ਼ੁਰਸ਼ੀਦਿ ਰਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਓ ਮਾਹਤਾਬ ।੮੭।

chih khurasheed rakhashindaa o maahataab |87|

Whether it is the bright sun and whether it is the star-studded moon, (87)

ਚਿਹ ਅਰਸ਼ੋ ਚਿਹ ਕੁਰਸੀ ਹਮਾ ਬੰਦਾ-ਅਸ਼ ।

chih arasho chih kurasee hamaa bandaash |

Whether (we talk about) the skies and cosmos, or the earthlings and the earth, all these are his slaves;

ਬਖ਼ਿਦਮਤ-ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਸਰ ਅਫ਼ਗਦਾ-ਅਸ਼ ।੮੮।

bakhidamataguzaaree sar afagadaash |88|

All of them are standing with their heads bowed before him and willing to serve him. (88)

ਸਿਹਗਾਨਾ ਮਵਾਲੀਦੋ ਅਸ਼ਰਾ ਹਵਾਸ ।

sihagaanaa mavaaleedo asharaa havaas |

The three species, born out of egg, placental, and out moisture and heat, and the ten organs of sense and reproduction,

ਬ-ਤਾਅਤ-ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀਸ਼ ਦਾਰਦ ਪਾਸ ।੮੯।

bataataguzaareesh daarad paas |89|

All give special consideration to his meditation and worship. (89)

ਸਤੂਨਿ ਖ਼ਿਰਦ ਤਾਫ਼ਤ ਤਸ਼ਯੀਦ ਅਜ਼ੋ ।

satoon khirad taafat tashayeed azo |

Pillar of wisdom received fortification from him,

ਬਿਨਾਇ ਸਖ਼ਾ ਰਾਸਤ ਤੌਕੀਦ ਅਜ਼ੋ ।੯੦।

binaae sakhaa raasat tauakeed azo |90|

And, because of him, the foundation of bestowals became cemented and strong. (90)

ਮੁਸ਼ਈਅੱਦ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਰਾਸਤੀ ਰਾ ਅਸਾਸ ।

musheead azo raasatee raa asaas |

The foundations of truth became firmer only because of him,

ਜ਼ਿ ਨੂਰਸ਼ ਜਹਾਂ ਯਾਫ਼ਤਾ ਇਕਤਬਾਸ ।੯੧।

zi noorash jahaan yaafataa ikatabaas |91|

And, the world got its illumination from his refulgence and brilliance. (91)

ਜਮਾਲਿ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਬਰ ਆਰਾਸਤਾ ।

jamaal hakeekat bar aaraasataa |

The decorated beauty and elegance of realism and truth

ਜ਼ਿ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਤ ਜਹਾਂ ਜੁਮਲਾ ਪਰਦਾਖਤਾ ।੯੨।

zi zulamat jahaan jumalaa paradaakhataa |92|

Was able to dispel all the darkness and tyranny from this world and made it clean and chaste. (92)

ਰੁਖ਼ਿ ਅਦਲੋ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਅਫ਼ਰੋਖ਼ਤਾ ।

rukh adalo inasaaf afarokhataa |

The face of justice, equity and fair play glistened,

ਦਿਲਿ ਜਬਰੋ ਬੇਦਾਦ ਰਾ ਸੋਖ਼ਤਾ ।੯੩।

dil jabaro bedaad raa sokhataa |93|

And, the hearts of cruelty and outrage were frustrated and burnt into ashes. (93)

ਬਿਨਾਇ ਸਿਤਮ ਰਾ ਬਰ-ਅੰਦਾਖ਼ਤਾ ।

binaae sitam raa baraandaakhataa |

The foundations of tyrannt were uprooted,

ਸਰਿ ਮਾਅਦਲਤ ਰਾ ਬਰ-ਅਫ਼ਰਾਖ਼ਤਾ ।੯੪।

sar maadalat raa baraafaraakhataa |94|

And, the head of justice and fair play was elevated and raised high. (94)

ਰਯਾਹੀਨਿ ਫ਼ਜਲੋ ਅਤਾ ਰਾ ਸਹਾਬ ।

rayaaheen fajalo ataa raa sahaab |

He is the raining cloud to nurture the vines of grace and blessings,

ਸਮਾਇ ਕਰਾਮਾਤ ਰਾ ਆਫਤਾਬ ।੯੫।

samaae karaamaat raa aafataab |95|

And, he is the sun of the skies of miracles and generosity. (95)

ਬਸਾਤੀਨਿ ਫ਼ੈਜ਼ੋ ਸਖ਼ਾ ਰਾ ਗ਼ਨਾਮ ।

basaateen faizo sakhaa raa ganaam |

He is dense cloud for the gardens of blessings and generosity,

ਜਹਾਨਿ ਅਤੀਆਤ ਰਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਮ ।੯੬।

jahaan ateeaat raa intazaam |96|

And, he is the management for the world of gifts and donations. (96)

ਮਹੀਤਿ ਫ਼ਯੂਜ਼ਾਤੋ ਬਹਿਰਿ ਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਲ ।

maheet fayoozaato bahir fazaal |

He is the ocean of bestowals and a sea of compassion,

ਸਹਾਬਿ ਅਨਾਯਾਤੋ ਅਬਰਿ ਨਵਾਲ ।੯੭।

sahaab anaayaato abar navaal |97|

And, he is the cloud full of largess and showers of generosity. (97)

ਜਹਾਂ ਖ਼ੁੱਰਮੋ ਆਲਮ ਆਬਾਦ ਅਜ਼ੋ ।

jahaan khuramo aalam aabaad azo |

This world is pleasant and the universe inhabited because of him,

ਰੱਯਅਤ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੋ ਮਮਲਕਤ ਸ਼ਾਦ ਅਜ਼ੋ ।੯੮।

rayat khusho mamalakat shaad azo |98|

And, the subjects are satisfied and happy and the country is comfortable due to him. (98)

ਹਮਾ ਆਲਮ ਅਜ਼ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਓ ਲਸ਼ਕਰੀ ।

hamaa aalam az shahiree o lashakaree |

From an ordinary citizen to the entire army, and in fact the whole world

ਪਜ਼ੀਰਾਇ ਹੁਕਮਸ਼ ਬ-ਨੇਕ ਅਖ਼ਤਰੀ ।੯੯।

pazeeraae hukamash banek akhataree |99|

follow the command of this noble star. (99)

ਜਹਾਨਿ ਜ਼ਿ ਫ਼ੈਜ਼ਸ਼ ਹਮ ਆਗੋਸ਼ਿ ਕਾਮ ।

jahaan zi faizash ham aagosh kaam |

The wishes of this world are fulfilled because of his compassion and grace,

ਦੋ ਆਲਮ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਯਾਫ਼ਤ ਨਸਕੋ ਨਿਜ਼ਾਮ ।੧੦੦।

do aalam azo yaafat nasako nizaam |100|

And, it is due to him that both the worlds are functioning under an orderly management and rules. (100)

ਹੱਕਸ਼ ਦਾਦ ਮਿਫ਼ਤਾਹਿ ਹਰ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲੋ ।

hakash daad mifataeh har mushakalo |

God has blessed him with a solution to every problem,

ਨਸ਼ਾਂਦਸ਼ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤ ਹਰ ਮੁਕਬਲੋ ।੧੦੧।

nashaandash zabaradasat har mukabalo |101|

And, he has defeated even the greatest tyrants in every encounter. (101)

ਸ਼ਹਿਨਸ਼ਾਹਿ ਅਕਲੀਮਿ ਤਜਮੀਲ ਰਾ ।

shahinashaeh akaleem tajameel raa |

He is the king of the rule of grandeur and grace,

ਖ਼ੁਦਾਵੰਦਿ ਦੀਵਾਨਿ ਤਜਜ਼ੀਲ ਰਾ ।੧੦੨।

khudaavand deevaan tajazeel raa |102|

And, he is the master of the anthology of poems of venerability and status. (102)

ਗੁਹਰ ਤਾਜਿ ਇਹਜਾਜ਼ੋ ਤੌਕੀਰ ਰਾ ।

guhar taaj ihajaazo tauakeer raa |

He is the gem of the grandeur and glory of miracles and status,

ਜ਼ਿਆ-ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਅਸਫ਼ਾ ਓ ਤਨਵੀਰ ਰਾ ।੧੦੩।

ziaabakhash asafaa o tanaveer raa |103|

He blesses the luster and chasteness with radiance. (103)

ਜਿਲਾ ਲੂਲੂਇ ਇੱਜ਼ੋ ਤਾਅਜ਼ੀਮ ਰਾ ।

jilaa loolooe izo taazeem raa |

He is the brilliance of the stones of respectability and honor,

ਸਨੀ ਨਈਯਰਿ ਫ਼ਖ਼ਰੋ ਤਫ਼ਖ਼ੀਮ ਰਾ ।੧੦੪।

sanee neeyar fakharo tafakheem raa |104|

And, he is the light of the sun of elderliness and veneration. (104)

ਰੁਖ਼ਿ ਇੱਜ਼ਤੋ ਜਾਹ ਰਾ ਇੰਜਲਾ ।

rukh izato jaah raa injalaa |

He blesses the face of respectability and status with happy disposition,

ਲਵਾਇ ਤਬਾਜੀਲ ਰਾ ਇਅਤਲਾ ।੧੦੫।

lavaae tabaajeel raa iatalaa |105|

And, he raises the banner of veneration and maturity high in the sky.(105)

ਮਹੀਤਿ ਸਖ਼ਾ ਓ ਕਰਮ ਰਾ ਗੁਹਰ ।

maheet sakhaa o karam raa guhar |

He is the pearl of the ocean of blessings and generosity,

ਸਪਹਿਰਿ ਸਖ਼ਾ ਓ ਅਤਾ ਰਾ ਕਮਰ ।੧੦੬।

sapahir sakhaa o ataa raa kamar |106|

And, he is the moon in the sky of blessings, donations and offerings. (106)

ਜਹਾਂਬਾਨਿ ਮੁਲਕਿ ਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਲੋ ਕਰਾਮ ।

jahaanbaan mulak fazaalo karaam |

He is the overseer and monitor of the realm of grace and compassion,

ਮੁਹਿੱਮਾਤਿ ਦਾਰੈਨ ਰਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਮ ।੧੦੭।

muhimaat daarain raa intazaam |107|

And, he is the general manager of the tasks and actions of both the worlds. (107)

ਮਿਸੇ ਸ਼ਖ਼ਸਿ ਆਫ਼ਾਕ ਰਾ ਕੀਮੀਆ ।

mise shakhas aafaak raa keemeea |

He is the chemical to convert the nature of the brass of the sky (into gold).

ਰੁਖ਼ਿ ਮਿਹਰੋ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਰਾ ਇੰਜਲਾ ।੧੦੮।

rukh miharo inasaaf raa injalaa |108|

He is the happy disposition of the face of justice and love. (108)

ਕਬਾ ਕਾਮਤਿ ਦੌਲਤੋ ਕਦਰ ਰਾ ।

kabaa kaamat daualato kadar raa |

He is beneficial to the status of honor and wealth,

ਬਸਰ ਦੀਦਾਇ ਅਜ਼ਮਤੋ ਸਦਰ ਰਾ ।੧੦੯।

basar deedaae azamato sadar raa |109|

And, he is the light of the eyes of command and greatness. (109)

ਰਿਆਜ਼ਿ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਰਾ ਨਸੀਮਿ ਸਹਰ ।

riaaz jinaan raa naseem sehar |

He is the early morning frangrance for the heavenly gardens,

ਦ੍ਰਖ਼ਤਿ ਕਰਨ ਰਾ ਨੌ ਆਈਨਿ ਸਮਰ ।੧੧੦।

drakhat karan raa nau aaeen samar |110|

And, he is the new sprouting fruit for the tree of generosity. (110)

ਤਰਾਜ਼ਿ ਆਸਤੀਨੋ ਮਾਹੋ ਸਾਲ ਰਾ ।

taraaz aasateeno maaho saal raa |

He is the trimming of the cuffs of months and years,

ਫ਼ਲਕ ਰਿਫ਼ਅਤਿ ਇੱਜ਼ੋ ਇਕਬਾਲ ਰਾ ।੧੧੧।

falak rifat izo ikabaal raa |111|

And, he is the sky (limit) of the heights of honor and glory. (111)

ਦਲੇੋਰੋ ਤਨੋਮੰਦੋ ਫ਼ੀਰੋਜ਼ ਜੰਗ ।

daleoro tanomando feeroz jang |

He is courageous, powerful, and a victorious valiant in the war,

ਗੁਲਿ ਅਦਲੋ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਰਾ ਬੂ ਓ ਰੰਗ ।੧੧੨।

gul adalo inasaaf raa boo o rang |112|

And, he is the fragrance an colors of the flower of justice. (112)

ਜਫ਼ਾਨਿ ਸਖ਼ਾ ਆਲਮਿ ਮਕਰਮਤ ।

jafaan sakhaa aalam makaramat |

He is the world of generosity and a universe of blessings,

ਮਹੀਤਿ ਅਤਾ ਕੁਲਜ਼ਮਿ ਆਤਫ਼ਤ ।੧੧੩।

maheet ataa kulazam aatafat |113|

And, he is the sea of bestowals and deep ocean of grace and kindness. (113)

ਹਪਹਿਰਿ ਅਲਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਜਤਬਾ ।

hapahir alaa saahib ajatabaa |

He is sky of high altitude and the chief of the selected ones,

ਸਾਹਬਿ ਕਰਮ ਆਫਤਾਬਿ ਹੁਦਾ ।੧੧੪।

saahab karam aafataab hudaa |114|

He is the cloud bursting with blessings and the sun of learning. (114)

ਫ਼ਰੋਗ਼ਿ ਜਬੀਨਿ ਰਸੂਖੋ ਸਦਾਦ ।

farog jabeen rasookho sadaad |

He is the light of the forehead of the truthful conversation,

ਜਮਾਲਿ ਰੁਖ਼ਿ ਅਦਲੋ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾਦ ।੧੧੫।

jamaal rukh adalo inasaaf daad |115|

And, he is the brightness of the face of justice and fairness. (115)

ਚਂਰਾਗ਼ਿ ਸ਼ਬਿਸ਼ਤਾਨੀ ਮਜਦੋ ਬਹਾ ।

chanraag shabishataanee majado bahaa |

He is the lighted oil lamp of the long and wedding night of confluence,

ਬਹਾਰਿ ਗੁਲਿਸਤਾਨਿ ਇੱਜ਼ੋ ਅਲਾ ।੧੧੬।

bahaar gulisataan izo alaa |116|

And, he is the spring of the garden of greatness, nobility, honor and reputation.(116)

ਨਗ਼ੀਂ ਖ਼ਾਤਮਿ ਨਿਸਫ਼ਤੋ ਅਦਲ ਰਾ ।

nageen khaatam nisafato adal raa |

He is the gem of the ring of justice and fairness,

ਸਮਰਿ ਸ਼ਜਰਾਇ ਰਹਿਮਤੋ ਫ਼ਜ਼ਲ ਰਾ ।੧੧੭।

samar shajaraae rahimato fazal raa |117|

And, he is the fruit of the tree of kindness and grace. (117)

ਗ਼ਹੁਰਿ ਮਾਅਦਨਿ ਫ਼ਜਲੋ ਅਕਰਾਮ ਰਾ ।

gahur maadan fajalo akaraam raa |

He is the diamond of the mine of compassion and largess,

ਜ਼ਿਆ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿ ਇਹਸਾਨੋ ਇਨਆਮ ਰਾ ।੧੧੮।

ziaa bakhash ihasaano inaam raa |118|

And, he is the light that grants boons and gratitude. (118)

ਤਰਾਵਤ ਰਯਾਹੀਨਿ ਤੌਹੀਦ ਰਾ ।

taraavat rayaaheen tauaheed raa |

He is the moisture for the vines of the Unique Primal Lord,

ਨਜ਼ਾਰਤ ਬੁਸਾਤੀਨਿ ਤਜਰੀਦ ਰਾ ।੧੧੯।

nazaarat busaateen tajareed raa |119|

And, he is the aroma of the garden of the One and the only One. (119)

ਬ-ਰਜ਼ਮ ਅੰਦਰੂੰ ਨੱਰਾਇ ਸ਼ੇਰਿ ਦਮਾਂ ।

barazam andaroon naraae sher damaan |

He is a roaring lion in the battlefields, and

ਬ-ਬਜ਼ਮ ਅੰਦਰੂੰ ਅਬਰਿ ਗਹੁਰ ਫ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ।੧੨੦।

babazam andaroon abar gahur fishaan |120|

He is the cloud that showers pearls and gems in a happy social cultural party(120)

ਬ-ਮੈਦਾਨਿ ਜੰਗ ਆਵਰੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਸਵਾਰ ।

bamaidaan jang aavaree shahisavaar |

He is great a cavalaryman in the battlefields, and

ਬ-ਜੌਲਾਨਿ ਖ਼ਸਮ ਅਫ਼ਗਨੀ ਨਾਮਦਾਰ ।੧੨੧।

bajaualaan khasam afaganee naamadaar |121|

He is famous for the race knocking down the enemies. (121)

ਬ-ਬਹਿਰਿ ਤਹਾਰਬ ਦਮਿੰਦਾ ਨਿਹੰਗ ।

babahir tahaarab damindaa nihang |

He is a snorting alligator in the ocean of battles, and

ਦਿਲਿ ਖ਼ਸਮ ਦੋਜ਼ਾਂ ਬ ਤੀਰੋ ਖ਼ਦੰਗ ।੧੨੨।

dil khasam dozaan b teero khadang |122|

He is capable to pierce through the hearts of the enemy with his arrows and muskets (122).

ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਮਿਹਰੇ ਬ ਆਵਾਨਿ ਬਜ਼ਮ ।

firozindaa mihare b aavaan bazam |

He is the shining sun of the palaces of gala parties,

ਦਮਾਂ ਅਜ਼ਦਹਾਇ ਬ ਮੈਦਾਨਿ ਰਜ਼ਮ ।੧੨੩।

damaan azadahaae b maidaan razam |123|

And, he is the hissing snake of the battlefronts. (123)

ਹਮਾਯੂੰ ਹੁਮਾਂ ਔਜਿ ਤਕਮੀਲ ਰਾ ।

hamaayoon humaan aauaj takameel raa |

He is the mythical bird, Humaa, whose shadow brings in luck, of the heights of competence and skill,

ਦਰਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਮਹਿ ਔਜਿ ਤਫ਼ਜ਼ੀਲ ਰਾ ।੧੨੪।

darakhashindaa meh aauaj tafazeel raa |124|

And, he is the shining moon of the elevations of praises and idealism. (124)

ਗੁਲ ਆਰਾਇ ਬਾਗ਼ਿ ਜਹਾਂ ਪਰਵਰੀ ।

gul aaraae baag jahaan paravaree |

He is the decorator of the flowers of the garden providing sustainence to

ਫ਼ਰੋਗ਼ਿ ਦਿਲੋ ਦੀਦਾਇ ਸਰਵਰੀ ।੧੨੫।

farog dilo deedaae saravaree |125|

He is the light of the heart and eyes of chief-ship. (125)

ਨੇ ਆੲਨਿ ਗੁਲਿ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨਿ ਫ਼ੱਰੋ ਜ਼ੇਬ ।

ne aaen gul gulashan faro zeb |

He is the fresh flower of the garden of glory and decoration, and

ਬੁਲੰਦ ਅਜ਼ ਸ਼ੁਮਾਰਿ ਫ਼ਰਾਜ਼ੋ ਨਸ਼ੇਬ ।੧੨੬।

buland az shumaar faraazo nasheb |126|

He is beyond the arithmetic of ups and downs. (126)

ਜ਼ਹਾਂਬਾਨਿ ਮੁਲਕਿ ਦਵਾਮੋ ਅਬਦ ।

zahaanbaan mulak davaamo abad |

He is the caretaker of the eternal and immortal country or region, and

ਬ-ਇਲਮੁਲ ਯਕੀਂ ਦਰ ਦੋ ਆਲਮ ਅਹਦ ।੧੨੭।

baeilamul yakeen dar do aalam aehad |127|

He, based on knowledge and belief, is the same entity in both the worlds. (127)

ਹਮਾ ਔਲੀਆ ਓ ਹਮਾ ਅੰਬੀਆ ।

hamaa aaualeea o hamaa anbeea |

All prophets and all saints have

ਹਮਾ ਅਸਫ਼ੀਆ ਓ ਹਮਾ ਅਤਕੀਆ ।੧੨੮।

hamaa asafeea o hamaa atakeea |128|

All Sufis, Muslims mystics and religious persons practicing abstinence have bowed (128)

ਬਖ਼ਾਕਿ ਦਰਸ਼ ਸਰ ਨਿਹਾਦਾ ਬ-ਇੱਜਜ਼ ।

bakhaak darash sar nihaadaa baejaz |

Bowed their heads with utmost humility at the dust of his door, and

ਬਪਾ ਅੰਦਰਸ਼ ਓਫ਼ਤਾਦਾ ਬ-ਇਜਜ਼ ।੧੨੯।

bapaa andarash ofataadaa baeijaz |129|

They have fallen on his feet with utter respect and honor. (129)

ਚਿ ਔਤਾਦ ਹਾ ਓ ਚਿ ਅਬਦਾਲ ਹਾ ।

chi aauataad haa o chi abadaal haa |

Whether we talk about the elders or carefree Muslim ascetics,

ਚਿ ਅਕਤਾਬ ਫ਼ਰਖ਼ੰਦਾ ਇਕਬਾਲ ਹਾ ।੧੩੦।

chi akataab farakhandaa ikabaal haa |130|

Whether we talk about the Kutab or the accepted ones with chaste intentions (130)

ਚਿ ਸ਼ਿੱਧੋ ਚਿ ਨਾਬੋ ਚਿ ਗ਼ੌਸੋ ਚਿ ਪੀਰ ।

chi shidho chi naabo chi gauaso chi peer |

Whether we talk about Sidhs or Naaths (those who prolong their lives by controlling their breath), or whether we talk about Gaus group of Muslin saints of higher rank, or the prophets, and

ਚਿ ਸੁਰ-ਜਨ ਚਿ ਮੁਨਿ-ਜਨ ਚਿ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਚਿ ਫ਼ਕੀਰ ।੧੩੧।

chi surajan chi munajan chi shaah chi fakeer |131|

Whether we talk about the holy persons or hermits, or we talk about kings or beggars (131)

ਹਮਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਓ ਫ਼ਿਦਵੀਇ ਨਾਮਿ ਊ ।

hamaa bandaa o fidavee naam aoo |

All of them are the servants and slaves of his Naam, and

ਹਮਾ ਖ਼ਾਸਤਗਾਰਿੰਦਾਇ ਕਾਮਿ ਊ ।੧੩੨।

hamaa khaasatagaarindaae kaam aoo |132|

All of them are extremely anxious to fulfill his desires and wishes. (132)

ਕਜ਼ਾ ਓ ਕਦਰ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਦਰ ਤਾਇਤਸ਼ ।

kazaa o kadar har do dar taaeitash |

Both the destiny and Nature are subservient to him, and

ਸ-ਪਹਿਰੋ ਜ਼ਮੀਂ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਦਰ ਖਿਦਮਤਸ਼ ।੧੩੩।

sapahiro zameen har do dar khidamatash |133|

Both the sky and the earth are (always) ready to be at his service. (133)

ਖ਼ੁੱਰੋ ਮਾਹ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਗਦਾਇ ਦਰਸ਼ ।

khuro maah har do gadaae darash |

Both the sun and the moon are beggars at his door, and

ਬੱਰੋ ਬਹਿਰ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਸਨਾ ਗੁਸਤਰਸ਼ ।੧੩੪।

baro bahir har do sanaa gusatarash |134|

Both the water and the land are spreading his praises, virtues and qualities. (134)

ਤਵਾਲੀ ਤਫ਼ੱਜ਼ੁਲ ਤਵਾਤਰ ਕਰਮ ।

tavaalee tafazul tavaatar karam |

He is the pursuer and appreciator of kindness and blessing,

ਤਵਾਫ਼ਰ ਤਰਾਹਮ ਤਕਾਸਰ ਨਅਮ ।੧੩੫।

tavaafar taraaham takaasar nam |135|

He is the bounty of benevolence and ultimate of granting boons. (135)

ਮਕਾਲਿਸ਼ ਰਿਆਹੁਲ-ਅਜ਼ਮ ਵਲ-ਅਰਬ ।

makaalish riaahulaazam valaarab |

His words and messages are full of fragrance for the Arab and Iran regions, and

ਜ਼ਿ ਨੂਰਸ਼ ਫ਼ਰੋਜ਼ਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਕੁਲ ਗ਼ਰਬ ।੧੩੬।

zi noorash farozaan sharakul garab |136|

Both the east and the west are illuminated with his radiance. (136)

ਹਰ ਆਂ ਕਸ ਕਿ ਅਜ਼ ਰਹਿ ਸਿਦਕ ਇਅਤਕਾਦ ।

har aan kas ki az reh sidak iatakaad |

Every such person who with a chaste mind and firm faith

ਥਪਾਇ ਹਮਾਯੂਨਿ ਊ ਸਰ ਨਿਹਾਦ ।੧੩੭।

thapaae hamaayoon aoo sar nihaad |137|

Put his head down on his sacred lotus feet, (137)

ਸਰ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਖ਼ਤਸ਼ ਹੱਕ ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਸਰਬੁਲੰਦ ।

sar afaraakhatash hak zi har sarabuland |

The Primal Lord blessed him with honors higher than even the great persons,

ਆਗਰ ਸ਼ਰ-ਨਿਗੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਤੋ ਅਖ਼ਤਰ ਨਜ਼ੰਦ ।੧੩੮।

aagar sharanigoon bakhato akhatar nazand |138|

Even though, he had a bad fortune and his star of destiny was bleak.(138)

ਹਰ ਆਂ ਕਸ ਕਿ ਊ ਖ਼ਾਂਦ ਨਾਮਸ਼ ਬਸਿਦਕ ।

har aan kas ki aoo khaand naamash basidak |

Every such person who remembered his name with a true faith,

ਰਵਾ ਸ਼ੁਦ ਹਰ ਉਮੀਦੋ ਕਾਮਸ਼ ਬਸਿਦਕ ।੧੩੯।

ravaa shud har umeedo kaamash basidak |139|

Without any doubt, every wish and ambition of that person was fulfilled. (139)

ਹਰ ਆਂ ਕਸ ਕਿ ਊ ਨਾਮਿ ਊ ਰਾ ਸ਼ਨੀਦ ।

har aan kas ki aoo naam aoo raa shaneed |

Every such person who heard or listened to his sacred name

ਜ਼ਿ ਪਾਦਾਸ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਮਾਅਸੀਅਤ ਵਾ ਰਹੀਦ ।੧੪੦।

zi paadaash har maaseeat vaa raheed |140|

Was forgiven and redeemed of the punishement of every sin that he had committed. (140)

ਹਰ ਆਂ ਕਸ ਕਿ ਦੀਦਾਰਿ ਪਾਕਿਸ਼ ਬਦੀਦ ।

har aan kas ki deedaar paakish badeed |

Every such person who happened to have had a sacred glimpse of him,

ਬਚਸ਼ਮ ਅੰਦਰਸ਼ ਨੂਰਿ ਹੱਕ ਸ਼ੁਦ ਪਦੀਦ ।੧੪੧।

bachasham andarash noor hak shud padeed |141|

The Divine Light manifested with resplendent glow in his eyes. (141)

ਹਰ ਆਂ ਕਸ ਕਿ ਊ ਗਸ਼ਤ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰਿ ਊ ।

har aan kas ki aoo gashat manazoor aoo |

Anyone who happens to be favored in his eyes,

ਬ-ਵਸਲਿ ਖ਼ੁਦਸ਼ ਹੱਕ ਫ਼ਜ਼ੂਦ ਆਬਰੂ ।੧੪੨।

bavasal khudash hak fazood aabaroo |142|

Was blessed with the Divine meeting thus enhancing his esteem. (142)

ਤੁਫ਼ੈਲਸ਼ ਹਮਾ ਮੁਜਰਮਾਂ ਰਾ ਨਜਾਤ ।

tufailash hamaa mujaramaan raa najaat |

With his clemency, all sinner are forgiven and granted salvation,

ਜ਼ਿ ਪਾ-ਸ਼ੁਇ ਊ ਮੁਰਦਗਾਂ ਰਾ ਹਯਾਤ ।੧੪੩।

zi paashue aoo muradagaan raa hayaat |143|

By washing his lotus feet, even the dead become alive, are revived. (143)

ਚਿ ਹੈਵਾਂ ਮੁਕਾਬਿਲ ਬ-ਪਾਸ਼ੂਇ ਊ ।

chi haivaan mukaabil bapaashooe aoo |

Compared to washing his lotus feet, even the nectar becomes far inferior,

ਕਿ ਆਂ ਨੀਜ਼ ਸ਼ੁਦ ਬੰਦਾਇ ਕੂਇ ਊ ।੧੪੪।

ki aan neez shud bandaae kooe aoo |144|

Because, it also becomes a slave of his street (realm). (144)

ਜ਼ਿ ਹੈਵਾਂ ਅਰ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਗਿਲ ਹਾ ਜ਼ੀਅੰਦ ।

zi haivaan ar muradaa gil haa zeeand |

If the dead dirt can be revived with this life-giving potion,

ਅਜ਼ੀਂ ਆਬ ਜਾਂ-ਹਾ ਓ ਦਿਲ ਹਾ ਜ਼ੀਅੰਦ ।੧੪੫।

azeen aab jaanhaa o dil haa zeeand |145|

Then, with this nectar, soul and heart become alive again. (145)

ਜ਼ਲਾਲਿ ਮਕਾਲਿਸ਼ ਚੁਨਾਂ ਆਮਦਾ ।

zalaal makaalish chunaan aamadaa |

The tenor of his conversation is such, that

ਕਿ ਸਦ ਆਬਿ ਹੈਵਾਂ ਦਰਾਂ ਆਮਦਾ ।੧੪੬।

ki sad aab haivaan daraan aamadaa |146|

Hundreds of life-giving nectars become contained therein. (146)

ਜਹਾਂ ਦਰ ਜਹਾਂ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਰਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦ ।

jahaan dar jahaan muradaa raa zindaa karad |

He revived dead people of numerous worlds (world after world), and

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਦਿਲਿ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਰਦ ।੧੪੭।

hazaaraan dil zindaa raa bandaa karad |147|

He made servitors out of thousands of enlivened hearts. (147)

ਚਿ ਗੰਗਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਿਲ ਬ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰਸ਼ ।

chi gangaa mukaabil b amritasarash |

Sacred river Gangaa is absolutely no match to his pool of nectar, (Amrit Sarovar of Amritsar), because

ਕਿ ਹਰ ਹਸ਼ਤੋ ਸ਼ਸਤ ਆਮਦਾ ਚਾਕਰਸ਼ ।੧੪੮।

ki har hashato shasat aamadaa chaakarash |148|

Every one of the sixty pilgrim centers is at his beck and call and his servant. (148)

ਵਜੂਦਸ਼ ਬਹੱਕ ਪਾਇਦਾਰੋ ਮੁਦਾਮ ।

vajoodash behak paaeidaaro mudaam |

Because of truthfulness, his body and stature is eternal and immortal,

ਦਿਲਸ਼ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਅਜ਼ ਨੂਰਿ ਹੱਕੁਲ-ਕਰਾਮ ।੧੪੯।

dilash rauashan az noor hakulakaraam |149|

Due to the radiance of Akaalpurakh's blessings, his heart is always brilliance and illuminated. (149)

ਬਹੱਕ ਦਾਨੀ ਅਜ਼ ਜੁਮਲਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਜ਼ਰ ।

behak daanee az jumalaa vaalaa nazar |

He has the highest divine insight to appreciate and recognize the 'truth',

ਬਹੱਕ ਬੀਨੀ ਅਜ਼ ਜੁਮਲਾ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਬਸਰ ।੧੫੦।

behak beenee az jumalaa rauashan basar |150|

He has the keenest luminous and brilliant vision to examine the truth and take the right decision. (150)

ਬ-ਆਗਾਹੀ ਅਜ਼ ਜੁਮਲਾ ਆਗਾਹ ਤਰ ।

baaagaahee az jumalaa aagaah tar |

He is most familiar about the knowledge about truth than all, and

ਦਰ ਅਕਲੀਮ ਦਾਨਿਸ਼ ਸ਼ਹਿਨਸ਼ਾਹ ਤਰ ।੧੫੧।

dar akaleem daanish shahinashaah tar |151|

He is the king of wisdom and perception. (151)

ਜ਼ਬੀਨਿ ਮਤੀਨਸ਼ ਫ਼ਰੋਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਨੂਰ ।

zabeen mateenash farozindaa noor |

His steel-like forehead radiates with heavenly glow, and

ਜ਼ਮੀਰਿ ਮੁਨੀਰਸ਼ ਦਰਖ਼ਸ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਹੂਰ ।੧੫੨।

zameer muneerash darakhashindaa hoor |152|

His divine and luminous soul is a shining sun. (152)

ਬ-ਫ਼ਜਲੋ ਤਰਾਹਮ ਸਰਾਸਰ ਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਲ ।

bafajalo taraaham saraasar fazaal |

He is absolutely forgiving in terms of compassiona and generosity, and

ਬ-ਜ਼ੇਬੋ ਤਜੱਈਅਨ ਸਰਾਪਾ ਜਮਾਲ ।੧੫੩।

bazebo tajaeean saraapaa jamaal |153|

He is all beauty for grace and embellishment from head to toes. (153)

ਬ-ਹਿੰਮਤ ਬੁਲੰਦੀ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਅਜ਼ ਹਮਾ ।

bahinmat bulandee buland az hamaa |

In terms of courage, he is the most courageous of all, and

ਬ-ਇਕਬਾਲ ਫ਼ੀਰੋਜ਼ਮੰਦ ਅਜ਼ ਹਮਾ ।੧੫੪।

baeikabaal feerozamand az hamaa |154|

As far as rank and status is concerned, he is most fortunate of all. (154)

ਅਗਰਚਿ ਬ-ਤਸਖ਼ੀਰਿ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਜਹਾਂ ।

agarach batasakheer har do jahaan |

Even though, in order to conquer both the worlds

ਨਿਆਜ਼ਸ਼ ਨਾ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ਬ ਤੇਗ਼ੋ ਸਨਾਂ ।੧੫੫।

niaazash naa baashad b tego sanaan |155|

He does not need swords and spears, (155)

ਵਲੇ ਜੌਹਰਿ ਤੇਗ਼ ਅਫ਼ਰੋਖ਼ਤਾ ।

vale jauahar teg afarokhataa |

But when the skill, feat and the power of his sword springs up

ਜ਼ਿ ਬਰਕਸ਼ ਦਿਲਿ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨਾਂ ਸੋਖ਼ਤਾ ।੧੫੬।

zi barakash dil dushamanaan sokhataa |156|

Then, with its lightening, the hearts of the enemy get singed. (156)

ਜ਼ਿ ਜ਼ੋਪੀਨਿ ਊ ਪੀਲ ਰਾ ਖ਼ੂੰ ਜਿਗਰ ।

zi zopeen aoo peel raa khoon jigar |

The heart of an elephant is bludgeoned with his lance, and

ਜ਼ਿ ਤੀਰਸ਼ ਜਿਗਰ ਸੋਖ਼ਤਾ ਸ਼ੇਰਿ ਨਰ ।੧੫੭।

zi teerash jigar sokhataa sher nar |157|

Even the heart of a lion is scorched with his arrow. (157)

ਕਮੰਦਸ਼ ਦਦੋ ਦਾਮ ਦਰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਦ ।

kamandash dado daam dar band karad |

His scaling rope has captured animals and ferocious beasts in its snare,

ਸਿਨਾਨਸ਼ ਜ਼ਿ ਦੇਵਾਂ ਬਰ ਆਵੁਰਦ ਗਰਦ ।੧੫੮।

sinaanash zi devaan bar aavurad garad |158|

And, his heavy spear has spread the dirt under the demons and Satans, (by defeating them) (158)

ਚੁਨਾਂ ਨਾਵਕਸ਼ ਹਲਕਾ ਦਰ ਕੋਹ ਕਰਦ ।

chunaan naavakash halakaa dar koh karad |

His sharp arrow pierced the mountain in such a manner

ਕਿ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਬਰੂਜ਼ਿ ਨਬੁਰੱਦ ।੧੫੯।

ki arajun na karadaa barooz naburad |159|

That even the brave Arjun could not do on the day of the battle. (159)

ਚਿ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਚਿ ਭੀਮੋ ਚਿ ਰੁਸਤਮ ਚਿ ਸਾਮ ।

chi arajun chi bheemo chi rusatam chi saam |

Whether we talk about Arjun, Bheem, Rustam or Saam, or

ਚਿ ਅਸਫ਼ੰਦਯਾਰੋ ਚਿ ਲਛਮਨ ਚਿ ਰਾਮ ।੧੬੦।

chi asafandayaaro chi lachhaman chi raam |160|

Whether we talk about Asafan’ Dayar, Lachhman, or Ram; who and what were these brave men? (160)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮਹੇਸ਼ੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਗਨੇਸ਼ ।

hazaaraan mahesho hazaaraan ganesh |

Thousands of Mahayshs and Thousands of Ganayshs

ਬਪਾਇਸ਼ ਨਿਹਾਦਾ ਸਰਿ ਇਜਜ਼ਿ ਖ਼ੇਸ਼ ।੧੬੧।

bapaaeish nihaadaa sar ijaz khesh |161|

Bow their heads with humility and reverence on his lotus feet. (161)

ਹਮਾ ਬੰਦਾਇ ਊ ਸ਼ਾਹਿ ਫ਼ੀਰੋਜ਼-ਜੰਗ ।

hamaa bandaae aoo shaeh feerozajang |

All of them are servitors-slaves of this victorious king of the battle, and

ਦੋ ਆਲਮ ਅਜ਼ੋ ਯਾਫ਼ਤਾ ਬੂ ਓ ਰੰਗ ।੧੬੨।

do aalam azo yaafataa boo o rang |162|

Both the worlds were bestowed with fragrance, gaiety and brilliance by him. (162)

ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਅਲੀ ਓ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਲੀ ।

hazaaraan alee o hazaaraan valee |

Thousands of Alis and thousands of prophets

ਬਪਾਇਸ਼ ਨਿਹਾਦਾ ਸਰਿ ਸਰਵਰੀ ।੧੬੩।

bapaaeish nihaadaa sar saravaree |163|

All bow their heads of their chieftainship with humilty and respect at his feet. (163)

ਚੂੰ ਤੀਰਸ਼ ਜਿਹਦ ਅਜ਼ ਕਮਾਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਤਰ ।

choon teerash jihad az kamaan tez tar |

When his arrow is shot from his bow in the battle with tremendous speed,

ਹਮਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨਾਂ ਰਾ ਸ਼ਿਗਾਫ਼ਦ ਜਿਗਰ ।੧੬੪।

hamaa dushamanaan raa shigaafad jigar |164|

It pierces through the hearts of the enemy. (164)

ਖ਼ਦੰਗਸ਼ ਚੁਨਾਂ ਸੰਗਿ ਖ਼ਾਰਹ ਦਰਦ ।

khadangash chunaan sang khaarah darad |

His arrow cuts through the hard stone in such a manner,

ਕਿ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੀਰਿ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਗਿਆਹ ਰਾ ਬਰਦ ।੧੬੫।

ki shamasheer hindee giaah raa barad |165|

Like an Indian sword that can mow through the grass. (165)

ਚਿ ਸੰਗੋ ਚਿ ਆਹਨ ਬਰਿ ਤੀਰਿ ਊ ।

chi sango chi aahan bar teer aoo |

Neither the stone nor the steel are no match against his arrow, and

ਚਿ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ਾਨਗਾਂ ਪੇਸ਼ਿ ਤਦਬੀਰਿ ਊ ।੧੬੬।

chi farazaanagaan pesh tadabeer aoo |166|

The wisdom of the intellectuals does not cut much ice before his plans and procedures. (166)

ਅਮੂਦਸ਼ ਚੂੰ ਬਰ ਫ਼ਰਕਿ ਪੀਲਾਂ ਰਸਦ ।

amoodash choon bar farak peelaan rasad |

When his heavy steel mace falls on the head of an elephant,

ਅਗਰ ਕੋਹ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ਬਖ਼ਾਕ ਅਫ਼ਗ਼ਨਦ ।੧੬੭।

agar koh baashad bakhaak afaganad |167|

At that time, even if it were a mountain, it will become a part of the dust. (167)

ਸ਼ਨਾਇਸ਼ ਜ਼ਿ ਨਕਦਿ ਹਸਾਇਰ ਬਿਰੂੰ ।

shanaaeish zi nakad hasaaeir biroon |

His praise and glory cannot be contained within any periphery or boundry, and

ਉਲੂਅਸ਼ ਜ਼ਿ ਫ਼ਹਿਮਿ ਮਲਾਇਕ ਫ਼ਜ਼ੂੰ ।੧੬੮।

aulooash zi fahim malaaeik fazoon |168|

His loftiness is much beyond the intellectual capacity even of the angels.(168)

ਅਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਰਤਰੀਂ ਤਰ ਕਿ ਆਇਦ ਗੁਮਾਂ ।

azaan baratareen tar ki aaeid gumaan |

He is much loftier than our intellect or perception, and

ਅਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਰਤਰੀਂ ਤਰ ਕਿ ਗੋਇਦ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਂ ।੧੬੯।

azaan baratareen tar ki goeid zubaan |169|

Our tongue is incapable to describe his praises and glory. (169)

ਵਜੂਦਸ਼ ਸਤੂੰ ਸਕਫ਼ਿ ਤਹਿਕੀਕ ਰਾ ।

vajoodash satoon sakaf tahikeek raa |

His body is the pillar and post for the roof of the plan to search for Akaalpurakh, and

ਰੁਖ਼ਸ਼ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਅਜ਼ ਰਹਿਮਤਿ ਕਿਬਰੀਆ ।੧੭੦।

rukhash rauashan az rahimat kibareea |170|

His face, with Waaheguru's magnanimity and munificence, is always radiant and shininmg. (170)

ਦਿਲਸ਼ ਮਿਹਰਿ ਰਖ਼ਸ਼ਾਂ ਜ਼ਿ ਅਤਵਾਰਿ ਹੱਕ ।

dilash mihar rakhashaan zi atavaar hak |

His heart is the bright sun shining with the divine radiance,

ਬ ਸਿਦਕ ਅਜ਼ ਹਮਾ ਸਾਦਿਕਾਨਿਸ਼ ਸਬੱਕ ।੧੭੧।

b sidak az hamaa saadikaanish sabak |171|

In faith, he is ahead and higher than all the true followers and sincere believers. (171)

ਅਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਰਤਰ ਆਮਦ ਕਿ ਦਾਨਦ ਕਸੇ ।

azaan baratar aamad ki daanad kase |

He has a higher rank and status than anyone who is recognizable anywhere and anybody,

ਅਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਰਗੁਜ਼ੀਦਾ ਕਿਹ ਖ਼ਾਨਦ ਕਸੇ ।੧੭੨।

azaan baraguzeedaa kih khaanad kase |172|

He is more reverential than anyone could describe. (172)

ਜਹਾਂ ਦਰ ਜਹਾਂ ਮਕਰਮਤ ਜ਼ਾਤਿ ਊ ।

jahaan dar jahaan makaramat zaat aoo |

All the worlds are saturated with the graciousness of his personality, and

ਜ਼ਿ ਹੱਦ ਬਰਤਰ ਆਮਦ ਕਮਲਾਤਿ ਊ ।੧੭੩।

zi had baratar aamad kamalaat aoo |173|

His feats cannot be confined within any limits. (173)

ਚੂ ਤੌਸੀਫ਼ਸ਼ ਆਮਦ ਫ਼ਜ਼ੂੰ ਅਜ਼ ਹਿਸਾਬ ।

choo tauaseefash aamad fazoon az hisaab |

When his praises and glory are beyond any accountability,

ਕੁਜਾ ਗੁੰਜਦ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਜਾਬਿ ਕਿਤਾਬ ।੧੭੪।

kujaa gunjad andar hajaab kitaab |174|

How could, then, they be confined to the screens (pages) of any book. (174)

ਸਰਿ ਲਾਲ ਬਾਦਾ ਬਪਾਇਸ਼ ਫ਼ਿਦਾ ।

sar laal baadaa bapaaeish fidaa |

With Waaheguru's grace, I pray that the head of Nand Lal be sacrificed for his naam, and that

ਅਜ਼ੋ ਬਾਦ ਜਾਨੋ ਦਿਲਸ਼ ਰਾ ਨਵਾ ।੧੭੫।

azo baad jaano dilash raa navaa |175|

With Akaalpurakh's kindness, the soul and heart of Nand Lal be offered before Him. (175)
