ਜਾ ਛੁਟੇ ਤਾ ਖਾਕੁ ਤੂ ਸੁੰਞੀ ਕੰਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਹੀ ॥

jaa chhutte taa khaak too sunyee kant na jaanahee |

When the soul leaves, you shall become dust, O vacant body; why do you not realize your Husband Lord?

ਦੁਰਜਨ ਸੇਤੀ ਨੇਹੁ ਤੂ ਕੈ ਗੁਣਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਾਣਹੀ ॥੧॥

durajan setee nehu too kai gun har rang maanahee |1|

You are in love with evil people; by what virtues will you enjoy the Lord's Love? ||1||
