Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:

ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥

gur pooraa aaraadhiaa hoe kirapaal |

I worship the Perfect Guru in adoration; He has become merciful to me.

ਮਾਰਗੁ ਸੰਤਿ ਬਤਾਇਆ ਤੂਟੇ ਜਮ ਜਾਲ ॥੧॥

maarag sant bataaeaa tootte jam jaal |1|

The Saint has shown me the Way, and the noose of Death has been cut away. ||1||

ਦੂਖ ਭੂਖ ਸੰਸਾ ਮਿਟਿਆ ਗਾਵਤ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮ ॥

dookh bhookh sansaa mittiaa gaavat prabh naam |

Pain, hunger and scepticism have been dispelled, singing the Name of God.

ਸਹਜ ਸੂਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਰਸ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਭਿ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

sehaj sookh aanand ras pooran sabh kaam |1| rahaau |

I am blessed with celestial peace, poise, bliss and pleasure, and all my affairs have been perfectly resolved. ||1||Pause||

ਜਲਨਿ ਬੁਝੀ ਸੀਤਲ ਭਏ ਰਾਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪ ॥

jalan bujhee seetal bhe raakhe prabh aap |

The fire of desire has been quenched, and I am cooled and soothed; God Himself saved me.

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਵਡ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥੨॥੧੧॥੭੫॥

naanak prabh saranaagatee jaa kaa vadd parataap |2|11|75|

Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of God; His glorious radiance is so great! ||2||11||75||
