ਮੁਨਿ ਨਾਰਦ ਜੂ ਬਾਚ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ੍ਰਹ ਜੂ ਸੋ ॥

Speech of the sage Narada addressed to Krishna:

ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

SWAYYA

ਅਕ੍ਰੂਰ ਕੇ ਅਗ੍ਰ ਹੀ ਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੋ ਮੁਨਿ ਪਾ ਪਰਿ ਕੈ ਇਹ ਬਾਤ ਸੁਨਾਈ ॥

akraoor ke agr hee jaa har so mun paa par kai ih baat sunaaee |

Before the arrival of Akrur the sage told everything to Krishna

ਰੀਝ ਰਹਿਓ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਸੁ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਕਨ੍ਰਹਾਈ ॥

reejh rahio apune man mai su nihaar kai sundar roop kanrahaaee |

Listening to all the talk, the charming Krishna was pleased in his mind

ਬੀਰ ਬਡੋ ਰਨ ਬੀਚ ਹਨੋ ਤੁਮ ਐਸੇ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਛਬਿ ਪਾਈ ॥

beer baddo ran beech hano tum aise kahiyo at hee chhab paaee |

Narada said, “O Krishna! you have vanquished many heroes in the battlefield and have attained great brilliance

ਆਯੋ ਹੋ ਹਉ ਸੁ ਘਨੇ ਰਿਪ ਘੇਰਿ ਸਿਕਾਰ ਕੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਬਧੋ ਤਿਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੭੮੪॥

aayo ho hau su ghane rip gher sikaar kee bhaat badho tin jaaee |784|

I hve gathered and left many of your enemies, you may now (go to Mathura and ) kill them784.

ਤਬ ਹਉ ਉਪਮਾ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਕਰਹੋ ਕੁਬਲਿਯਾ ਗਿਰ ਕੋ ਤੁਮ ਜੋ ਮਰਿਹੋ ॥

tab hau upamaa tumaree karaho kubaliyaa gir ko tum jo mariho |

ਮੁਸਟਕ ਬਲ ਸਾਥ ਚੰਡੂਰਹਿ ਸੋ ਰੰਗਭੂਮਿ ਬਿਖੈ ਬਧ ਜਉ ਕਰਿਹੋ ॥

musattak bal saath chanddooreh so rangabhoom bikhai badh jau kariho |

“I shall sing your praises if you kill Kuvalyapeer (elephant), kill Chandur on the stage with you fists,

ਫਿਰਿ ਕੰਸ ਬਡੇ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਰਿਪੁ ਕੋ ਗਹਿ ਕੇਸ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਨ ਕੋ ਹਰਿਹੋ ॥

fir kans badde apune rip ko geh kes te praanan ko hariho |

ਰਿਪੁ ਮਾਰਿ ਘਨੇ ਬਨ ਆਸੁਰ ਕੋ ਕਰਿ ਕਾਟਿ ਸਭੈ ਧਰ ਪੈ ਡਰਿਹੋ ॥੭੮੫॥

rip maar ghane ban aasur ko kar kaatt sabhai dhar pai ddariho |785|

“Annihilate your great enemy Kansa by catching him from his hair and throw on the ground all the demons of the city and the forest after chopping them.”785.
