Pauree:

ਸੁਖ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਏਕੁ ਹੈ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਸੁਣਿਆ ॥

sukh nidhaan prabh ek hai abinaasee suniaa |

The One God is the treasure of peace; I have heard that He is eternal and imperishable.

ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰਿਆ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਣਿਆ ॥

jal thal maheeal pooriaa ghatt ghatt har bhaniaa |

He is totally pervading the water, the land and the sky; the Lord is said to be permeating each and every heart.

ਊਚ ਨੀਚ ਸਭ ਇਕ ਸਮਾਨਿ ਕੀਟ ਹਸਤੀ ਬਣਿਆ ॥

aooch neech sabh ik samaan keett hasatee baniaa |

He looks alike upon the high and the low, the ant and the elephant.

ਮੀਤ ਸਖਾ ਸੁਤ ਬੰਧਿਪੋ ਸਭਿ ਤਿਸ ਦੇ ਜਣਿਆ ॥

meet sakhaa sut bandhipo sabh tis de janiaa |

Friends, companions, children and relatives are all created by Him.

ਤੁਸਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦੇਵੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਤਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਣਿਆ ॥੭॥

tus naanak devai jis naam tin har rang maniaa |7|

O Nanak, one who is blessed with the Naam, enjoys the Lord's love and affection. ||7||
