ਪੁਨਿ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੁਝਾਰ ਮਹਾ ਰਨ ਮੈ ਲਰਿ ਕੈ ਮਰਿ ਕੈ ਸੁਰ ਲੋਕਿ ਬਿਹਾਰਿਓ ॥

pun singh jujhaar mahaa ran mai lar kai mar kai sur lok bihaario |

ਸੈਨ ਜਿਤੋ ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਹੁਤੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਅਸਿ ਲੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮਾਰਿ ਬਿਦਾਰਿਓ ॥

sain jito tih sang huto tab hee as lai nrip maar bidaario |

In this way in this great war, Jujhar Singh also, went to heaven while fighting and the army which was with him, the king (Kharag Singh) was torn into fragments

ਜੇਤੇ ਰਹੇ ਸੁ ਭਜੇ ਰਨ ਤੇ ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਨਹੀ ਲਾਜ ਕੀ ਓਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਓ ॥

jete rahe su bhaje ran te kinahoon nahee laaj kee or nihaario |

Those who survived, without caring for their honour and custom fled away

ਮਾਨਹੁ ਦੰਡ ਲੀਏ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਜਮ ਕੇ ਸਮ ਭੂਪ ਮਹਾ ਅਸਿ ਧਾਰਿਓ ॥੧੪੩੨॥

maanahu dandd lee kar mai jam ke sam bhoop mahaa as dhaario |1432|
