Todee, Fifth Mehl:

ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਬਸਹੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਨੀਤ ॥

kripaa nidh basahu ridai har neet |

O Lord, ocean of mercy, please abide forever in my heart.

ਤੈਸੀ ਬੁਧਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਪਰਗਾਸਾ ਲਾਗੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

taisee budh karahu paragaasaa laagai prabh sang preet | rahaau |

Please awaken such understanding within me, that I may be in love with You, God. ||Pause||

ਦਾਸ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ਕੀ ਪਾਵਉ ਧੂਰਾ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲੇ ਲੇ ਲਾਵਉ ॥

daas tumaare kee paavau dhooraa masatak le le laavau |

Please, bless me with the dust of the feet of Your slaves; I touch it to my forehead.

ਮਹਾ ਪਤਿਤ ਤੇ ਹੋਤ ਪੁਨੀਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਉ ॥੧॥

mahaa patit te hot puneetaa har keeratan gun gaavau |1|

I was a great sinner, but I have been made pure, singing the Kirtan of the Lord's Glorious Praises. ||1||

ਆਗਿਆ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਮੀਠੀ ਲਾਗਉ ਕੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਰੋ ਭਾਵਉ ॥

aagiaa tumaree meetthee laagau keeo tuhaaro bhaavau |

Your Will seems so sweet to me; whatever You do, is pleasing to me.

ਜੋ ਤੂ ਦੇਹਿ ਤਹੀ ਇਹੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੈ ਆਨ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਧਾਵਉ ॥੨॥

jo too dehi tahee ihu tripatai aan na katahoo dhaavau |2|

Whatever You give me, with that I am satisfied; I shall chase after no one else. ||2||

ਸਦ ਹੀ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਜਾਨਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਗਲ ਰੇਣ ਹੋਇ ਰਹੀਐ ॥

sad hee nikatt jaanau prabh suaamee sagal ren hoe raheeai |

I know that my Lord and Master God is always with me; I am the dust of all men's feet.

ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹੋਇ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਲਹੀਐ ॥੩॥

saadhoo sangat hoe paraapat taa prabh apunaa laheeai |3|

If I find the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I shall obtain God. ||3||

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਮ ਛੋਹਰੇ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਤੂ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਮਰੋ ਮੀਰਾ ॥

sadaa sadaa ham chhohare tumare too prabh hamaro meeraa |

Forever and ever, I am Your child; You are my God, my King.

ਨਾਨਕ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਤੁਮ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੁਮਾਰੋ ਖੀਰਾ ॥੪॥੩॥੫॥

naanak baarik tum maat pitaa mukh naam tumaaro kheeraa |4|3|5|

Nanak is Your child; You are my mother and father; please, give me Your Name, like milk in my mouth. ||4||3||5||
