ਹੋਰਤੁ ਰੰਗਿ ਨ ਰਚੀਐ ਸਭੁ ਕੂੜੁ ਦਿਸੰਦਾ ।

horat rang na racheeai sabh koorr disandaa |

Love none but the Guru; all other love is false.

ਹੋਰਤੁ ਸਾਦਿ ਨ ਲਗੀਐ ਹੋਇ ਵਿਸੁ ਲਗੰਦਾ ।

horat saad na lageeai hoe vis lagandaa |

Enjoy no other relish than his, for it would be poisonous.

ਹੋਰਤੁ ਰਾਗ ਨ ਰੀਝੀਐ ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਖ ਨ ਲਹੰਦਾ ।

horat raag na reejheeai sun sukh na lahandaa |

Be not pleased with any one else's singing, for listening to it would bring no happiness.

ਹੋਰੁ ਬੁਰੀ ਕਰਤੂਤਿ ਹੈ ਲਗੈ ਫਲੁ ਮੰਦਾ ।

hor buree karatoot hai lagai fal mandaa |

All acts not in conformity with the Guru's teaching, are evil, and bear evil fruit.

ਹੋਰਤੁ ਪੰਥਿ ਨ ਚਲੀਐ ਠਗੁ ਚੋਰੁ ਮੁਹੰਦਾ ।

horat panth na chaleeai tthag chor muhandaa |

Walk only in the way of true Guru, because in all other ways, there are thieves who cheat and rob.

ਪੀਰ ਮੁਰੀਦਾਂ ਪਿਰਹੜੀ ਸਚੁ ਸਚਿ ਮਿਲੰਦਾ ।੧੧।
