ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨ ਸਾਥ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਤਜਿ ਕੈ ਕਿਹ ਓਰਿ ਗਏ ਥੇ ॥

ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਬਢਾਇ ਮਹਾ ਹਮ ਸੋ ਜਮੁਨਾ ਤਟਿ ਪੈ ਰਸ ਕੇਲ ਕਏ ਥੇ ॥

Gopis said to Krishna, “Where had you gone after leaving us? You had loved us and were absorbed in amorous play with us on the bank of Yamuna

ਯੌ ਤਜਿ ਗੇ ਜਿਮ ਰਾਹਿ ਮੁਸਾਫਿਰ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਤੁਮ ਨਾਹਿ ਨਏ ਥੇ ॥

yau taj ge jim raeh musaafir sayaam kahiyo tum naeh ne the |

“You were not unacquainted with us, but you left us like traveler abandoning his companion

ਫੂਲ ਖਿਰੇ ਮੁਖ ਆਏ ਕਹਾ ਅਪਨੀ ਬਿਰੀਆ ਕਹੂੰ ਭਉਰ ਭਏ ਥੇ ॥੫੦੮॥

fool khire mukh aae kahaa apanee bireea kahoon bhaur bhe the |508|

Our faces had bloomed here like flowers, but you had gone away elsewhere like a black bee.”508.
