RASAAVAL STANZA
ਘਣੰ ਘੰਟ ਬਾਜੰ ॥
ghanan ghantt baajan |
Many gongs resound and hearing their sound,!
ਧੁਣੰ ਮੇਘ ਲਾਜੰ ॥
dhunan megh laajan |
The clouds feel ashamed!
ਭਯੋ ਸੱਦ ਏਵੰ ॥
bhayo sad evan |
Such a sound is produced that it appears!
ਹੜਿਓ ਨੀਰਧੇਵੰ ॥੨੦॥
harrio neeradhevan |20|
Like the sound of the surging waves of the sea! 20
ਘੁਰੰ ਘੁੰਘਰੇਯੰ ॥
ghuran ghunghareyan |
The small bells of the feet jingle,!
ਧੁਣੰ ਨੇਵਰੇਯੰ ॥
dhunan nevareyan |
And the anklets rattle!
ਮਹਾ ਨਾਦ ਨਾਦੰ ॥
mahaa naad naadan |
Such sounds are peaceful sounds !
ਸੁਰੰ ਨਿਰਬਿਖਾਦੰ ॥੨੧॥
suran nirabikhaadan |21|
Against the great resounding (of gongs)! 21
ਸਿਰੰ ਮਾਲ ਰਾਜੰ ॥
siran maal raajan |
The rosary of heads glorified his neck, !
ਲਖੇ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਲਾਜੰ ॥
lakhe rudr laajan |
Seeing which the god Shiva feels abashed!
ਸੁਭੰ ਚਾਰ ਚਿੱਤ੍ਰੰ ॥
subhan chaar chitran |
Such a beautiful image appears magnificent !
ਪਰਮੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੰ ॥੨੨॥
paraman pavitran |22|
And it is greatly holy! 22
ਮਹਾ ਗਰਜ ਗਰਜੰ ॥
mahaa garaj garajan |
He produces the very loud roar, !
ਸੁਨੈ ਦੂਤ ਲਰਜੰ ॥
sunai doot larajan |
Hearing which the messengers (of Yama) tremble!
ਸ੍ਰਵੰ ਸ੍ਰੌਣ ਸੋਹੰ ॥
sravan srauan sohan |
The blood oozes (from his rosary of skulls) glorifying his neck !
ਮਹਾ ਮਾਨ ਮੋਹੰ ॥੨੩॥
mahaa maan mohan |23|
And it is fascinating his great honour! 23
