ਕੋਟਿ ਬਿਸਨ ਕੀਨੇ ਅਵਤਾਰ ॥

He created millions of incarnations of Vishnu.

ਕੋਟਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਧ੍ਰਮਸਾਲ ॥

kott brahamandd jaa ke dhramasaal |

He created millions of universes as places to practice righteousness.

ਕੋਟਿ ਮਹੇਸ ਉਪਾਇ ਸਮਾਏ ॥

kott mahes upaae samaae |

He created and destroyed millions of Shivas.

ਕੋਟਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੇ ਜਗੁ ਸਾਜਣ ਲਾਏ ॥੧॥

kott brahame jag saajan laae |1|

He employed millions of Brahmas to create the worlds. ||1||

ਐਸੋ ਧਣੀ ਗੁਵਿੰਦੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥

aiso dhanee guvind hamaaraa |

Such is my Lord and Master, the Lord of the Universe.

ਬਰਨਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਉ ਗੁਣ ਬਿਸਥਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

baran na saakau gun bisathaaraa |1| rahaau |

I cannot even describe His Many Virtues. ||1||Pause||

ਕੋਟਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੇਵਕਾਇ ॥

Millions of Mayas are His maid-servants.

ਕੋਟਿ ਜੀਅ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸਿਹਜਾਇ ॥

kott jeea jaa kee sihajaae |

Millions of souls are His beds.

ਕੋਟਿ ਉਪਾਰਜਨਾ ਤੇਰੈ ਅੰਗਿ ॥

kott upaarajanaa terai ang |

Millions of universes are the limbs of His Being.

ਕੋਟਿ ਭਗਤ ਬਸਤ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ॥੨॥

kott bhagat basat har sang |2|

Millions of devotees abide with the Lord. ||2||

ਕੋਟਿ ਛਤ੍ਰਪਤਿ ਕਰਤ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ॥

kott chhatrapat karat namasakaar |

Millions of kings with their crowns and canopies bow before Him.

ਕੋਟਿ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਠਾਢੇ ਹੈ ਦੁਆਰ ॥

kott indr tthaadte hai duaar |

Millions of Indras stand at His Door.

ਕੋਟਿ ਬੈਕੁੰਠ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਮਾਹਿ ॥

kott baikuntth jaa kee drisattee maeh |

Millions of heavenly paradises are within the scope of His Vision.

ਕੋਟਿ ਨਾਮ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੩॥

kott naam jaa kee keemat naeh |3|

Millions of His Names cannot even be appraised. ||3||

ਕੋਟਿ ਪੂਰੀਅਤ ਹੈ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਨਾਦ ॥

kott pooreeat hai jaa kai naad |

Millions of celestial sounds resound for Him.

ਕੋਟਿ ਅਖਾਰੇ ਚਲਿਤ ਬਿਸਮਾਦ ॥

kott akhaare chalit bisamaad |

His Wondrous Plays are enacted on millions of stages.

ਕੋਟਿ ਸਕਤਿ ਸਿਵ ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰ ॥

kott sakat siv aagiaakaar |

Millions of Shaktis and Shivas are obedient to Him.

ਕੋਟਿ ਜੀਅ ਦੇਵੈ ਆਧਾਰ ॥੪॥

kott jeea devai aadhaar |4|

He gives sustenance and support to millions of beings. ||4||

ਕੋਟਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਮਝਾਰ ॥

kott teerath jaa ke charan majhaar |

In His Feet are millions of sacred shrines of pilgrimage.

ਕੋਟਿ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਜਪਤ ਨਾਮ ਚਾਰ ॥

kott pavitr japat naam chaar |

Millions chant His Sacred and Beautiful Name.

ਕੋਟਿ ਪੂਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਪੂਜਾ ॥

kott poojaaree karate poojaa |

Millions of worshippers worship Him.

ਕੋਟਿ ਬਿਸਥਾਰਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਦੂਜਾ ॥੫॥

kott bisathaaran avar na doojaa |5|

Millions of expanses are His; there is no other at all. ||5||

ਕੋਟਿ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੰਸ ॥

kott mahimaa jaa kee niramal hans |

Millions of swan-souls sing His Immaculate Praises.

ਕੋਟਿ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਤ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਸ ॥

kott usatat jaa kee karat brahamans |

Millions of Brahma's sons sing His Praises.

ਕੋਟਿ ਪਰਲਉ ਓਪਤਿ ਨਿਮਖ ਮਾਹਿ ॥

kott parlau opat nimakh maeh |

He creates and destroys millions, in an instant.

ਕੋਟਿ ਗੁਣਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਗਣੇ ਨ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੬॥

kott gunaa tere gane na jaeh |6|

Millions are Your Virtues, Lord - they cannot even be counted. ||6||

ਕੋਟਿ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਥਹਿ ਗਿਆਨੁ ॥

kott giaanee katheh giaan |

Millions of spiritual teachers teach His spiritual wisdom.

ਕੋਟਿ ਧਿਆਨੀ ਧਰਤ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥

kott dhiaanee dharat dhiaan |

Millions of meditators focus on His meditation.

ਕੋਟਿ ਤਪੀਸਰ ਤਪ ਹੀ ਕਰਤੇ ॥

kott tapeesar tap hee karate |

Millions of austere penitents practice austerities.

ਕੋਟਿ ਮੁਨੀਸਰ ਮੋੁਨਿ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਤੇ ॥੭॥

kott muneesar moun meh rahate |7|

Millions of silent sages dwell in silence. ||7||

ਅਵਿਗਤ ਨਾਥੁ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥

avigat naath agochar suaamee |

Our Eternal, Imperishable, Incomprehensible Lord and Master,

ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥

poor rahiaa ghatt antarajaamee |

The Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, is permeating all hearts.

ਜਤ ਕਤ ਦੇਖਉ ਤੇਰਾ ਵਾਸਾ ॥

jat kat dekhau teraa vaasaa |

Wherever I look, I see Your Dwelling, O Lord.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਓ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸਾ ॥੮॥੨॥੫॥

naanak kau gur keeo pragaasaa |8|2|5|

The Guru has blessed Nanak with enlightenment. ||8||2||5||
