ਹੋਇ ਇਕਤ੍ਰ ਬਧੂ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਬਾਤ ਕਹੈ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸ︀ਯਾਮੈ ॥

hoe ikatr badhoo brij kee sabh baat kahai mukh te ih sayaamai |

ਆਨਨ ਚੰਦ ਬਨੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਸੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਰਾਤਿ ਦਿਨਾ ਬਸਤੋ ਸੁ ਹਿਯਾ ਮੈ ॥

aanan chand bane mrig se drig raat dinaa basato su hiyaa mai |

All the women of Braja, gathering together, talk among themselves that though his face is dark, his countenance is like moon, eyes are like doe, he ever abides in our heart day and night

ਬਾਤ ਨਹੀ ਅਰਿ ਪੈ ਇਹ ਕੀ ਬਿਰਤਾਤ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਹਮ ਜਾਨ ਜੀਯਾ ਮੈ ॥

baat nahee ar pai ih kee birataat lakhiyo ham jaan jeeyaa mai |

ਕੈ ਡਰਪੈ ਹਰ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਛਪਿ ਮੈਨ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਅਬ ਲਉ ਤਨ ਯਾ ਮੈ ॥੧੯੧॥

kai ddarapai har ke har ko chhap main rahiyo ab lau tan yaa mai |191|

O friend! knowing about him, the fear emanates in the heart and it appears that the god of love resides in the body of Krishna.191.
