ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਮਾਈ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਜਾਗੀ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਰੰਗ ਦੇਖੈ ਜਪਤੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

maaee santasang jaagee | pria rang dekhai japatee naam nidhaanee | rahaau |

O mother, I have awakened in the Society of the Saints. Seeing the Love of my Beloved, I chant His Name, the greatest treasure ||Pause||

ਦਰਸਨ ਪਿਆਸ ਲੋਚਨ ਤਾਰ ਲਾਗੀ ॥

darasan piaas lochan taar laagee |

I am so thirsty for the Blessed Vision of His Darshan. my eyes are focused on Him;

ਬਿਸਰੀ ਤਿਆਸ ਬਿਡਾਨੀ ॥੧॥

bisaree tiaas biddaanee |1|

I have forgotten other thirsts. ||1||

ਅਬ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਹੈ ਸਹਜ ਸੁਖਦਾਇਕ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪੇਖਤ ਮਨੁ ਲਪਟਾਨੀ ॥

ab gur paaeo hai sehaj sukhadaaeik darasan pekhat man lapattaanee |

Now, I have found my Peace-giving Guru with ease; seeing His Darshan, my mind clings to Him.

ਦੇਖਿ ਦਮੋਦਰ ਰਹਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਨੀ ॥੨॥੧॥

dekh damodar rehas man upajio naanak pria amrit baanee |2|1|

Seeing my Lord, joy has welled up in my mind; O Nanak, the speech of my Beloved is so sweet! ||2||1||
