ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਭਇਓ ਛਠੋ ਬੰਸ ਸੋ ਭੀ ਮਾਰਿ ਡਾਰਿਓ ਕੰਸ ਦੇਵਕੀ ਪੁਕਾਰੀ ਨਾਥ ਬਾਤ ਸੁਨਿ ਲੀਜੀਐ ॥

ਕੀਜੀਐ ਅਨਾਥ ਨ ਸਨਾਥ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੀਨਾਨਾਥ ਹਮੈ ਮਾਰ ਦੀਜੀਐ ਕਿ ਯਾ ਕੋ ਮਾਰ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥

When the sixth son was also killed by Kansa, Devaki prayed thus to God, “O Master of the lowly! either kill us or kill Kansa

ਕੰਸ ਬਡੋ ਪਾਪੀ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਲੋਭ ਭਯੋ ਜਾਪੀ ਸੋਈ ਕੀਜੀਐ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਦਸਾ ਜਾ ਤੇ ਸੁਖੀ ਜੀਜੀਐ ॥

ਸ੍ਰੋਨਨ ਮੈ ਸੁਨਿ ਅਸਵਾਰੀ ਗਜ ਵਾਰੀ ਕਰੋ ਲਾਈਐ ਨ ਢੀਲ ਅਬ ਦੋ ਮੈ ਏਕ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥੫੪॥
