Salok, Third Mehl:

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਜੋ ਚਲੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਵਡੀ ਹੋਇ ॥

satigur kai bhaanai jo chalai tis vaddiaaee vaddee hoe |

One who walks in harmony with the Will of the True Guru, obtains the greatest glory.

ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਉਤਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਮੇਟਿ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਕੋਇ ॥

har kaa naam utam man vasai mett na sakai koe |

The Exalted Name of the Lord abides in his mind, and no one can take it away.

ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਕਰਮਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥

kirapaa kare jis aapanee tis karam paraapat hoe |

That person, upon whom the Lord bestows His Grace, receives His Mercy.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾਰਣੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਵਸਿ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬੂਝੈ ਕੋਇ ॥੧॥

naanak kaaran karate vas hai guramukh boojhai koe |1|

O Nanak, creativity is under the control of the Creator; how rare are those who, as Gurmukh, realize this! ||1||
