ਤੋਰਿ ਦਏ ਤਰੁ ਜੋ ਤਿਹ ਹੀ ਤਬ ਗੋਪਨ ਬੂਢਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਚਾਰੋ ॥

ਗੋਕੁਲ ਕੋ ਤਜੀਐ ਚਲੀਐ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਈਹਾ ਭਾਵ ਤੇ ਭਾਵਨ ਭਾਰੋ ॥

gokul ko tajeeai chaleeai brij hvai eehaa bhaav te bhaavan bhaaro |

When the trees were uprooted, all the gopas decided after consultation that then they should leave Gokul and live in Braja, because it had become difficult to live in Gokul

ਬਾਤ ਸੁਨੀ ਜਸੁਦਾ ਅਰੁ ਨੰਦਹਿ ਬ︀ਯੋਤ ਭਲੋ ਮਨ ਮਧਿ ਬਿਚਾਰੋ ॥

baat sunee jasudaa ar nandeh bayot bhalo man madh bichaaro |

ਅਉਰ ਭਲੀ ਇਹ ਤੇ ਨ ਕਛੂ ਜਿਹ ਤੇ ਸੁ ਬਚੇ ਸੁਤ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥੧੪੯॥

aaur bhalee ih te na kachhoo jih te su bache sut sayaam hamaaro |149|

Hearing about such a decision, Yashoda and Nand also decided that there was no other suitable place except Braja for the protection of their son.149.

ਘਾਸਿ ਭਲੋ ਦ੍ਰੁਮ ਛਾਹ ਭਲੀ ਜਮੁਨਾ ਢਿਗ ਹੈ ਨਗ ਹੈ ਤਟਿ ਜਾ ਕੇ ॥

ghaas bhalo drum chhaah bhalee jamunaa dtig hai nag hai tatt jaa ke |

The grass, the shade of trees, the bank of Yamuna and the mountain are all there

ਕੋਟਿ ਝਰੈ ਝਰਨਾ ਤਿਹ ਤੇ ਜਗ ਮੈ ਸਮਤੁਲਿ ਨਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਤਾ ਕੇ ॥

kott jharai jharanaa tih te jag mai samatul nahee kachh taa ke |

There are many cataracts there and there is no other place like it in the world

ਬੋਲਤ ਹੈ ਪਿਕ ਕੋਕਿਲ ਮੋਰ ਕਿਧੌ ਘਨ ਮੈ ਚਹੁੰ ਓਰਨ ਵਾ ਕੇ ॥

bolat hai pik kokil mor kidhau ghan mai chahun oran vaa ke |

ਬੇਗ ਚਲੋ ਤੁਮ ਗੋਕੁਲ ਕੋ ਤਜਿ ਪੁੰਨ ਹਜਾਰ ਅਬੈ ਤੁਮ ਗਾ ਕੇ ॥੧੫੦॥

beg chalo tum gokul ko taj pun hajaar abai tum gaa ke |150|

There the voice of peococks and nightingales is heard on all four sides, therefore we should leave Gokul immediately and go to Braja in order to earn the merit of thousands of virtuous actions.150.
