ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਇਹ ਰਾਇ ਭੇਦ ਨਹਿ ਜਾਨਤ ॥

dhrig ih raae bhed neh jaanat |

ਤੁਮ ਸੇ ਚਤੁਰਨ ਸੌ ਰਿਸਿ ਠਾਨਤ ॥

tum se chaturan sau ris tthaanat |

ਮਹਾ ਮੂੜ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੋ ਕਾ ਕਹਿਯੈ ॥

mahaa moorr nrip ko kaa kahiyai |

‘What can we say about such a blockhead.

ਯਾ ਪਾਪੀ ਕੇ ਦੇਸ ਨ ਰਹਿਯੈ ॥੧੮॥
