Fifth Mehl:

ਲਾਲਚਿ ਅਟਿਆ ਨਿਤ ਫਿਰੈ ਸੁਆਰਥੁ ਕਰੇ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥

laalach attiaa nit firai suaarath kare na koe |

Filled with greed, he constantly wanders around; he does not do any good deeds.

ਜਿਸੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟੈ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਸੋਇ ॥੨॥

jis gur bhettai naanakaa tis man vasiaa soe |2|

O Nanak, the Lord abides within the mind of one who meets with the Guru. ||2||
