ਕਾਮਸੈਨ ਤਿਹ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਕਰੀ ॥

kaamasain tih kahee na karee |

ਪੁਨਿ ਬਿਕ੍ਰਮ ਹਸਿ ਯਹੈ ਉਚਰੀ ॥

pun bikram has yahai ucharee |

Kam Sen did not heed and Bikrim said,

ਹਮ ਤੁਮ ਲਰੈ ਕਪਟ ਤਜਿ ਦੋਈ ॥

ham tum larai kapatt taj doee |

ਕੈ ਜੀਤੇ ਕੈ ਹਾਰੈ ਕੋਈ ॥੫੪॥

kai jeete kai haarai koee |54|

‘Whether one wins or losses, let us now fight.(54)

ਅਪਨੀ ਅਪਨੇ ਹੀ ਸਿਰ ਲੀਜੈ ॥

apanee apane hee sir leejai |

ਔਰਨ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਨ ਦੀਜੈ ॥

aauaran ke sir brithaa na deejai |

‘Let us finish our quarrel ourselves, why roll the heads of others. ‘For

ਬੈਠਿ ਬਿਗਾਰਿ ਆਪੁ ਜੋ ਕਰਿਯੈ ॥

baitth bigaar aap jo kariyai |

ਨਾਹਕ ਔਰ ਲੋਕ ਨਹਿ ਮਰਿਯੈ ॥੫੫॥

naahak aauar lok neh mariyai |55|

Our own sake, we should not make others to lose their lives.’(55)
