ਭੋਗ ਕਰਤ ਭਾਮਿਨਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
bhog karat bhaamin sukh paayo |
ਜਾਮਿਕ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਕੇਲ ਕਮਾਯੋ ॥
jaamik taa sau kel kamaayo |
She had felt blessful after enacting the lovemaking and seeking the enjoyment.
ਮਾਲੀ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਤੇ ਜਬ ਆਈ ॥
maalee ke grih te jab aaee |
ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਆਪਨੋ ਲਯੋ ਉਠਾਈ ॥੫॥
basatr aapano layo utthaaee |5|
When she had returned from the gardener’s house, she fully adorned her clothes.(5)
ਲੈ ਸਤੂਆ ਨਿਜੁ ਪਤਿ ਪਹਿ ਗਈ ॥
lai satooaa nij pat peh gee |
ਛੋਰਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਹੇਤ ਤਿਹ ਭਈ ॥

Whe she offered barely-meal to her husband, abandoning the clothes, she wrapped herself around him
ਹਾਥੀ ਹੇਰਿ ਚੌਕ ਜੜ ਰਹਿਯੋ ॥
haathee her chauak jarr rahiyo |
ਤੁਰਤ ਬਚਨ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕਹਿਯੋ ॥੬॥

‘Seeing the elephant, I was dreaded.’ she immediately vocalised to her husband. (6)
ਸੋਵਤ ਹੁਤੀ ਸੁਪਨ ਮੁਹਿ ਆਯੋ ॥
sovat hutee supan muhi aayo |
ਕਰੀ ਮਤ ਪਾਛੈ ਤਵ ਧਾਯੋ ॥
karee mat paachhai tav dhaayo |
’I was in deep slumber, when I saw an elephant charging after you.
ਮੈ ਡਰਿ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਲਯੋ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥
mai ddar panddit layo bulaaee |
ਜੋ ਉਨ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਸੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਕਮਾਈ ॥੭॥
jo un kahiyo su kriaa kamaaee |7|
‘I was dreaded and immediately called the priest and I ritualised the way he asked me.(7)
