oankaar akaar aap hai hosee bhee aapai |

Har, the One and Only God is prevailing now and shall be.

ਓਹੀ ਉਪਾਵਨਹਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਜਾਪੈ ।

ohee upaavanahaar hai gur sabadee jaapai |

He, Himself, is the Creator, and is savoured through the Guru's Word.

ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿਂ ਢਾਹਿ ਉਸਾਰਦਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਉ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ।

khin mahin dtaeh usaaradaa tis bhau na biaapai |

Without any veneration, He produces as well as decimates in an instant.

ਕਲੀ ਕਾਲ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੁਖ ਸੰਤਾਪੈ ।

kalee kaal gur seveeai naheen dukh santaapai |

In the Kal-age, by administering service to the Guru, the distress troubles not.

ਸਭ ਜਗੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਖੇਲੁ ਹੈ ਤੂੰ ਗੁਣੀ ਗਹੇਲਾ ।

sabh jag teraa khel hai toon gunee gahelaa |

Whole Universe is your presentation, and You are the ocean of benevolence.
