ਬਧੇ ਬਾਢਵਾਰੀ ਮਹਾ ਬੀਰ ਬਾਕੇ ॥

badhe baadtavaaree mahaa beer baake |

The curved swords and other arms

ਕਛੈ ਕਾਛਨੀ ਤੇ ਸਭੈ ਹੀ ਨਿਸਾਕੇ ॥

kachhai kaachhanee te sabhai hee nisaake |

Decapitated even brave enemies,

ਧਏ ਸਾਮੁਹੇ ਵੈ ਹਠੀ ਜੁਧ ਜਾਰੇ ॥

dhe saamuhe vai hatthee judh jaare |

But, they (the enemies), full of arrogance,

ਹਟੈ ਨ ਹਠੀਲੇ ਕਹੂੰ ਐਠਿਯਾਰੇ ॥੧੩॥

hattai na hattheele kahoon aitthiyaare |13|

Did not move back and fought valiantly.(l3)
