ਅੰਜਨ ਆਡਿ ਸੁ ਧਾਰ ਭਲੇ ਪਟ ਭੂਖਨ ਅੰਗ ਸੁ ਧਾਰ ਚਲੀ ॥
anjan aadd su dhaar bhale patt bhookhan ang su dhaar chalee |
ਜਨੁ ਦੂਸਰ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਕਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੀ ਜਨੁ ਰਾਜਤ ਕੰਜ ਕੀ ਸੇਤ ਕਲੀ ॥
jan doosar chandrakalaa pragattee jan raajat kanj kee set kalee |
With antimony in her eyes and wearing silken garments and ornaments she appears like manifestation of the supernatural power of moon or a white bud
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਪਗ ਭੇਟਨ ਕਾਜ ਚਲੀ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਸੰਗ ਰਾਧੇ ਅਲੀ ॥
har ke pag bhettan kaaj chalee kab sayaam kahai sang raadhe alee |
Radhika is going with her friend in order to touch the feet of Krishna
ਜਨੁ ਜੋਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਨ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਚੰਦ ਕੀ ਚਾਦਨੀ ਬਾਲੀ ਭਲੀ ॥੫੩੯॥
jan jot triyan gvaarin te ih chand kee chaadanee baalee bhalee |539|
It appears that the other gopis are like the light of earthen lamp and she herself is like the light of the moon.539.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਬਢੀ ਤਿਹ ਕੀ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਨਹਿ ਨੈਕੁ ਘਟੀ ਹੈ ॥
kaanrah so preet badtee tih kee man mai at hee neh naik ghattee hai |
Her love for Krishna increased and she did not retrace her step slightly
ਰੂਪ ਸਚੀ ਅਰੁ ਪੈ ਰਤਿ ਤੈ ਮਨ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਨ ਤੇ ਨਹਿ ਨੈਕੁ ਲਟੀ ਹੈ ॥
roop sachee ar pai rat tai man treeyan te neh naik lattee hai |
Her beauty is like Shachi, the wife of Indra and like Rati (the wife of god of love) other women are getting envious of her
ਰਾਸ ਮੈ ਖੇਲਨਿ ਕਾਜ ਚਲੀ ਸਜਿ ਸਾਜਿ ਸਭੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਨਟੀ ਹੈ ॥
raas mai khelan kaaj chalee saj saaj sabhai kab sayaam nattee hai |
She is moving like all the bedecked dancers for the amorous play
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨ ਕੈ ਘਨ ਮੈ ਮਨੋ ਰਾਧਿਕਾ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਕਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੀ ਹੈ ॥੫੪੦॥
sundar gvaarin kai ghan mai mano raadhikaa chandrakalaa pragattee hai |540|
She seems like lightning amongst the clouds-like beautiful gopis.540.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਪਿਖਿ ਕੈ ਜਿਹ ਰੀਝ ਰਹਿਓ ਜਿਹ ਕੋ ਦਿਖ ਕੈ ਸਿਵ ਧ︀ਯਾਨ ਛੁਟਾ ਹੈ ॥
brahamaa pikh kai jih reejh rahio jih ko dikh kai siv dhayaan chhuttaa hai |
Brahma is also getting pleased on seeing Radha and the meditation of Shiva has been disturbed
ਜਾ ਨਿਰਖੇ ਰਤਿ ਰੀਝ ਰਹੀ ਰਤਿ ਕੇ ਪਤਿ ਕੋ ਪਿਖਿ ਮਾਨ ਟੁਟਾ ਹੈ ॥
jaa nirakhe rat reejh rahee rat ke pat ko pikh maan ttuttaa hai |
Rati is also feeling captivated on seeing her and the pride of the god of love has been shattered
ਕੋਕਿਲ ਕੰਠ ਚੁਰਾਇ ਲੀਯੋ ਜਿਨਿ ਭਾਵਨ ਕੋ ਸਭ ਭਾਵ ਲੁਟਾ ਹੈ ॥
kokil kantth churaae leeyo jin bhaavan ko sabh bhaav luttaa hai |
The nightingale has become silent on listening to her speech and feels herself plundered
ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨ ਕੇ ਘਨ ਬੀਚ ਬਿਰਾਜਤ ਰਾਧਿਕਾ ਮਾਨਹੁ ਬਿਜੁ ਛਟਾ ਹੈ ॥੫੪੧॥
gvaarin ke ghan beech biraajat raadhikaa maanahu bij chhattaa hai |541|
She appears very alluring like lightning amongst the clouds-like gopis.541.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਕੇ ਪੂਜਨ ਪਾਇ ਚਲੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਖਭਾਨੁ ਸੁਤਾ ਸਭ ਸਾਜ ਸਜੈ ॥
kaanrah ke poojan paae chalee brikhabhaan sutaa sabh saaj sajai |
Radha is moving, bedecked in many ways in order to worship the feet of Krishna
ਜਿਹ ਕੋ ਪਿਖ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਰਹੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਦੁਤਿ ਸੀਸ ਰਜੈ ॥
jih ko pikh kai man mohi rahai kab sayaam kahai dut sees rajai |
Everyone’s mind is being enchanted on seeing her and her charm is manifesting itself on her forehead
ਜਿਨ ਅੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਕਬਿ ਦੇਤ ਸਭੈ ਸੋਊ ਅੰਗ ਧਰੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਰਾਜ ਛਜੈ ॥
jin ang prabhaa kab det sabhai soaoo ang dhare triy raaj chhajai |
Her limbs make her appear as the sovereign of women
ਜਿਹ ਕੋ ਪਿਖਿ ਕੰਦ੍ਰਪ ਰੀਝ ਰਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਕੋ ਦਿਖਿ ਚਾਦਨੀ ਚੰਦ ਲਜੈ ॥੫੪੨॥
jih ko pikh kandrap reejh rahai jih ko dikh chaadanee chand lajai |542|
The god of love is also allured on seeing her and the moonshine is also feeling shy.542.
ਸਿਤ ਸੁੰਦਰੁ ਸਾਜ ਸਭੈ ਸਜਿ ਕੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਖਭਾਨ ਸੁਤਾ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬਨੀ ॥
sit sundar saaj sabhai saj kai brikhabhaan sutaa ih bhaat banee |
ਮੁਖ ਰਾਜਤ ਸੁਧ ਨਿਸਾਪਤਿ ਸੋ ਜਿਹ ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਚਾਦਨੀ ਰੂਪ ਘਨੀ ॥
mukh raajat sudh nisaapat so jih mai at chaadanee roop ghanee |
In her elegant decoration, Radha appears with the face of the moon folding up thick moonshine
ਰਸ ਕੋ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਧਿਕਾ ਕੋਪ ਚਲੀ ਮਨੋ ਸਾਜ ਸੋ ਸਾਜ ਕੈ ਮੈਨ ਅਨੀ ॥
ras ko kar raadhikaa kop chalee mano saaj so saaj kai main anee |
ਤਿਹ ਪੇਖਿ ਭਏ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਖੁਸੀ ਸੋਊ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਨ ਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਰਾਜ ਗਨੀ ॥੫੪੩॥
tih pekh bhe bhagavaan khusee soaoo treeyan te triy raaj ganee |543|
Getting impatient, discharging the arrows of lust, moved for the nectar of love and seeing her Lord Krishna became pleased and he imagined her like the sovereign of women.543.
