Avivek has black colour, black chariot and black horses
ਅਸਿਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤਿਹ ਅੰਗਿ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਨਾਰੀ ਨਰ ਲੋਭਤ ॥
asit basatr tih ang nirakh naaree nar lobhat |
His garments are black also seeing him, all the men and women around
ਅਸਿਤ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਅਗ੍ਰ ਅਸਿਤ ਆਭਰਣ ਰਥੋਤਮ ॥
asit saarathee agr asit aabharan rathotam |
His charioteer is also black, whose garments are also black
ਅਸਿਤ ਧਨੁਖ ਕਰਿ ਅਸਿਤ ਧੁਜਾ ਜਾਨੁਕ ਪੁਰਖੋਤਮ ॥
asit dhanukh kar asit dhujaa jaanuk purakhotam |
His chariot is also darkness his bow and banner are all black and he considers himself a superb and superior peroson
ਇਹ ਛਬਿ ਨਰੇਸ ਅਬਿਬੇਕ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਜਗਤ ਜਯੰਕਰ ਮਾਨੀਯੈ ॥

O king! this is the pretty appearance of Avivek with which he has conquered the world
ਅਨਜਿਤ ਜਾਸੁ ਕਹ ਨ ਤਜੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਰੂਪ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਨੀਯੈ ॥੧੬੯॥
anajit jaas keh na tajo krisan roop tih jaaneeyai |169|
He is unconquerable and consider him as the likeness of Krishna.169.
ਪੁਹਪ ਧਨੁਖ ਅਲਿ ਪਨਚ ਮਤਸ ਜਿਹ ਧੁਜਾ ਬਿਰਾਜੈ ॥
puhap dhanukh al panach matas jih dhujaa biraajai |
In this likeness of the god of love, he is an elegant Purusha and his banner looks glorious
ਬਾਜਤ ਝਾਝਰ ਤੂਰ ਮਧੁਰ ਬੀਨਾ ਧੁਨਿ ਬਾਜੈ ॥
baajat jhaajhar toor madhur beenaa dhun baajai |
On all his four sides, the pretty and sweet lyre is played and the horn is blown
ਸਬ ਬਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਜਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਬਜਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਛਬ ਸੋਹਤ ॥
sab bajantr jih sang bajat sundar chhab sohat |
All types of musical instruments continue to be played with him
ਸੰਗ ਸੈਨ ਅਬਲਾ ਸੰਬੂਹ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਮੁਨਿ ਮੋਹਤ ॥
sang sain abalaa sanbooh sur nar mun mohat |
There is always a group of women with him and these women fascinate the mind of gods, men and sages
ਅਸ ਮਦਨ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਜਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਕ੍ਰੁਧ ਕਰਿ ਧਾਇ ਹੈ ॥
as madan raaj raajaa nripat jidin krudh kar dhaae hai |
On the day, when this Avivek will get enraged and come forward as the god of love,
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਸਮੁਹਿ ਅਉਰ ਦੂਸਰ ਕੋ ਜਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੦॥
bin ik bibek taa ke samuhi aaur doosar ko jaae hai |170|
None will be able to stand before him except only Vivek.170.
ਕਰਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ ਬਜਤ ਬੀਨਾ ਧੁਨਿ ਮੰਗਲ ॥

Arose at such a pitch that all the men women were allured
ਇਹ ਛਬਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਰਿਤੁ ਰਾਜ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੋਸ ਕਰਿ ਧਾਇ ਹੈ ॥
eih chhab prabhaav rit raaj nrip jidin ros kar dhaae hai |
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਉਰ ਸਮੁਹਿ ਕੋ ਜਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੧॥
bin ik bibek taa ke nripat aaur samuhi ko jaae hai |171|
With the impact of all this demeanour, O king! the day on which he will attack, then who can face him, without adopting Vivek?171.
ਸੋਰਠਿ ਸਾਰੰਗ ਸੁਧ ਮਲਾਰ ਬਿਭਾਸ ਸਰਬਿ ਗਨਿ ॥
soratth saarang sudh malaar bibhaas sarab gan |
ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਹਿੰਡੋਲ ਗੌਡ ਗੂਜਰੀ ਮਹਾ ਧੁਨਿ ॥
raamakalee hinddol gauadd goojaree mahaa dhun |

ਲਲਤ ਪਰਜ ਗਵਰੀ ਮਲਾਰ ਕਾਨੜਾ ਮਹਾ ਛਬਿ ॥

ਜਾਹਿ ਬਿਲੋਕਤ ਬੀਰ ਸਰਬ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਜੈ ਹੈ ਦਬਿ ॥
jaeh bilokat beer sarab tumare jai hai dab |
Lalit, Paraj, Gauri, Malhar, Kanra etc., the warriors like you are buried under his dazzle
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਨਰੇਸ ਰਿਤੁ ਰਾਜ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮਦਨ ਸੂਅਨ ਜਬ ਗਰਜ ਹੈ ॥
eih bidh nares rit raaj nrip madan sooan jab garaj hai |
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਗ︀ਯਾਨ ਸੁਨ ਹੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਦੂਸਰ ਕੋ ਬਰਜਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੨॥
bin ik gayaan sun ho nripat su aaur doosar ko baraj hai |172|
In this way, in the good season Basant, when Avivek will thunder in the likeness of the god of love, then without knowledge, O king! who will admonish him ? 172.
ਕਊਧਤ ਦਾਮਨਿ ਸਘਨ ਸਘਨ ਘੋਰਤ ਚਹੁਦਿਸ ਘਨ ॥
kaoodhat daaman saghan saghan ghorat chahudis ghan |
ਮੋਹਿਤ ਭਾਮਿਨ ਸਘਨ ਡਰਤ ਬਿਰਹਨਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਲਖਿ ਮਨਿ ॥
mohit bhaamin saghan ddarat birahan triy lakh man |
When the clouds will surround from all the four directions, the lightnings will flash, in such an atmosphere, the love-sick women will allure the mind
ਬੋਲਤ ਦਾਦੁਰ ਮੋਰ ਸਘਨ ਝਿਲੀ ਝਿੰਕਾਰਤ ॥
bolat daadur mor saghan jhilee jhinkaarat |
The voices of frogs and peacocks and the jingling sounds of arbour will be heard
ਦੇਖਤ ਦ੍ਰਿਗਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਅਮਿਤ ਮੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਬ੍ਰਿਤ ਹਾਰਤ ॥
dekhat drigan prabhaav amit mun man brit haarat |
Seeing the influence of the intoxicated eyes of the lustful women, the sages also fall from their vows and feel defeated in their mind
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਹੁਲਾਸ ਮਦਨਜ ਦੂਸਰ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਚਟਕ ਦੈ ਸਟਕ ਹੈ ॥
eih bidh hulaas madanaj doosar jidin chattak dai sattak hai |
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਸੁਨਹੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਉਰ ਦੂਸਰ ਕੋ ਹਟਕ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੩॥
bin ik bibek sunaho nripat aaur doosar ko hattak hai |173|
The day on which such a joyful atmosphere will present itself with full brilliance, then, O king! tell me, on that day, who will reject its impact Vivek?173.
ਤ੍ਰਿਤੀਆ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਅਨੰਦ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਸਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਕਹੁ ਧਰਿ ਹੈ ॥
triteea putr anand jidin sasatran kahu dhar hai |
ਕਰਿ ਹੈ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਸੁ ਰਣ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਮੁਨਿ ਡਰਿ ਹੈ ॥
kar hai chitr bachitr su ran sur nar mun ddar hai |
When in the likeness of Anand (bliss), he will hold the weapons and fight in a queer way, then the sages will be frightened
ਕੋ ਭਟ ਧਰਿ ਹੈ ਧੀਰ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਸਾਮੁਹਿ ਵਹ ਐ ਹੈ ॥
ko bhatt dhar hai dheer jidin saamuhi veh ai hai |
ਸਭ ਕੋ ਤੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਛਿਨਕ ਭੀਤਰ ਹਰ ਲੈ ਹੈ ॥
sabh ko tej prataap chhinak bheetar har lai hai |
Who is there such a warriors, who will keep patience and confront him? He will abduct the glory of all in an instant
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਅਨੰਦ ਦੁਰ ਧਰਖ ਭਟ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਗਹ ਮਿਕ ਹੈ ॥
eih bidh anand dur dharakh bhatt jidin sasatr geh mik hai |
In this way, the day on which this tyrannical warriors will come to fight holding his weapons, on that day,
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਧੀਰਜ ਸੁਨਿ ਰੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਦੂਸਰਿ ਟਿਕ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੪॥
bin ik dheeraj sun re nripat su aaur na doosar ttik hai |174|
O king! none else will stay there except the one with endurance.174.
ਰਤਨ ਜਟਤ ਰਥ ਸੁਭਤ ਖਚਿਤ ਬਜ੍ਰਨ ਮੁਕਤਾਫਲ ॥
ratan jattat rath subhat khachit bajran mukataafal |
ਹੀਰ ਚੀਰ ਆਭਰਣ ਧਰੇ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਮਹਾਬਲ ॥
heer cheer aabharan dhare saarathee mahaabal |
Studded with gems and full of pearls, the chariot will carry this mighty charioteer wearing embellished garments
ਕਨਕ ਦੇਖ ਕੁਰਰਾਤ ਕਠਨ ਕਾਮਿਨ ਬ੍ਰਿਤ ਹਾਰਤ ॥
kanak dekh kuraraat katthan kaamin brit haarat |
Seeing the gold, the hardest of beautiful lustful damsels will be allured,
ਤਨਿ ਪਟੰਬਰ ਜਰਕਸੀ ਪਰਮ ਭੂਖਨ ਤਨ ਧਾਰਤ ॥
tan pattanbar jarakasee param bhookhan tan dhaarat |
Forsaking their vows and he will wear ornaments and pretty garments on his body
ਇਹ ਛਬਿ ਅਨੰਦ ਮਦਨਜ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਗਰਜ ਦਲ ਗਾਹਿ ਹੈ ॥
eih chhab anand madanaj nripat jidin garaj dal gaeh hai |
O king! the joy-giver god of love, when he will come in front, thundering in such a handsome pose,
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਧੀਰਜ ਸੁਨਿ ਰੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਸਮੁਹ ਕੋ ਜਾਹਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੫॥
bin ik dheeraj sun re nripat su aaur samuh ko jaeh hai |175|
Then who will confront him except the one with endurance.175.
ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਬਰਣ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਬਾਜੀਰਥ ਛਾਜਤ ॥
dhoomr baran saarathee dhoomr baajeerath chhaajat |
All the gods, men and sages, will feel shy on seeing the black coloured charioteer,
ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਬਰਣ ਆਭਰਣ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਮੁਨਿ ਲਾਜਤ ॥
dhoomr baran aabharan nirakh sur nar mun laajat |
Black chariot and horses and glorious black garments
ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਨੈਨ ਧੂਮਰੋ ਗਾਤ ਧੂਮਰ ਤਿਹ ਭੂਖਨ ॥
dhoomr nain dhoomaro gaat dhoomar tih bhookhan |
ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਬਦਨ ਤੇ ਬਮਤ ਸਰਬ ਸਤ੍ਰੂ ਕੁਲ ਦੂਖਨ ॥
dhoomr badan te bamat sarab satraoo kul dookhan |
The black eyes and black ornaments will glisten on his black body and his enemies will be in agony
ਅਸ ਭਰਮ ਮਦਨ ਚਤੁਰਥ ਸੁਵਨ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੋਸ ਕਰਿ ਧਾਇ ਹੈ ॥
as bharam madan chaturath suvan jidin ros kar dhaae hai |
The day, on which this fourth son of the god of love, will move towards you in anger, then,
ਦਲ ਲੂਟ ਕੂਟ ਤੁਮਰੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਸਰਬ ਛਿਨਕ ਮਹਿ ਜਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੬॥
dal loott koott tumaro nripat su sarab chhinak meh jaae hai |176|
O king! he will move towards you in anger, then, O king! he will loot and cut down your army in an instant.176.
ਅਉਰ ਅਉਰ ਜੇ ਸੁਭਟਿ ਗਨੋ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਚਛਨ ॥
aaur aaur je subhatt gano tih naam bichachhan |
The names of other warriors are fantastic also
ਬਡ ਜੋਧਾ ਬਡ ਸੂਰ ਬਡੇ ਜਿਤਵਾਰ ਸੁਲਛਨ ॥
badd jodhaa badd soor badde jitavaar sulachhan |
They are all very brave and conquerors of wars
ਕਲਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਇਕ ਨਾਰਿ ਮਹਾ ਕਲ ਰੂਪ ਕਲਹ ਕਰ ॥
kaleh naam ik naar mahaa kal roop kalah kar |
There is one woman named Kalha, whose figure is very hideous,
ਲੋਗ ਚਤੁਰਦਸ ਮਾਝਿ ਜਾਸੁ ਛੋਰਾ ਨਹੀ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ॥
log chaturadas maajh jaas chhoraa nahee sur nar |
She has not left untouched any god or man in all the fourteen worlds
ਸਬ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਭੀਤਰ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
sab sasatr asatr bheetar nipun at prabhaav tih jaaneeai |
The warriors skilful in arms and weapons and very influential fighters and
ਸਬ ਦੇਸ ਭੇਸ ਅਰੁ ਰਾਜ ਸਬ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਜਵਨ ਕੋ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੭੭॥
sab des bhes ar raaj sab traas javan ko maaneeai |177|
The kings of the countries far and near are fearful of her.177.
ਬੈਰ ਨਾਮ ਇਕ ਬੀਰ ਮਹਾ ਦੁਰ ਧਰਖ ਅਜੈ ਰਣਿ ॥
bair naam ik beer mahaa dur dharakh ajai ran |
ਕਬਹੁ ਦੀਨ ਨਹੀ ਪੀਠਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਜੀਤੇ ਜਿਹ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਗਣ ॥
kabahu deen nahee peetth anik jeete jih nrip gan |
There is one invincible warriors named Shaturta (enmity) who has never shown his back and has conquered many kings
ਲੋਚਨ ਸ੍ਰੌਣਤ ਬਰਣ ਅਰੁਣ ਸਬ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅੰਗਿ ਤਿਹ ॥
lochan srauanat baran arun sab sasatr ang tih |
His eyes and colour were red like blood and there were weapons on all the limbs
ਰਵਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ਸਰ ਧੁਜਾ ਅਰੁਣ ਲਾਜਤ ਲਖਿ ਛਬਿ ਜਿਹ ॥
rav prakaas sar dhujaa arun laajat lakh chhab jih |
His banner was like sunshine and seeing his brilliance, even the sun felt shy
ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬੈਰ ਬੀਰਾ ਬਡੈ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਕ੍ਰੁਧ ਕਰਿ ਗਰਜਿ ਹੈ ॥
eih bhaat bair beeraa baddai jidin krudh kar garaj hai |
In this way, this mighty warriors named Shaturta, will roar in anger,
ਬਿਨੁ ਏਕ ਸਾਤਿ ਸੁਨ ਰੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਦੂਸਰ ਬਰਜਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੮॥
bin ek saat sun re nripat su aaur na doosar baraj hai |178|
On that day, none else will confront him except Shanti (peace).178.
ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਧੁਜਾ ਰਥ ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਬਿਰਾਜਤ ॥
dhoomr dhujaa rath dhoomr dhoomr saarathee biraajat |
The back banner, black chariot and the black charioteer look splendid
ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤਨ ਧਰੇ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਧੂਅਰੋ ਮਨਿ ਲਾਜਤ ॥
dhoomr basatr tan dhare nirakh dhooaro man laajat |
Seeing the black garment, even the smoke feels shy in his mind
ਧੂਮ੍ਰ ਧਨੁਖ ਕਰ ਛਕ︀ਯੋ ਬਾਨ ਧੂਮਰੇ ਸੁਹਾਏ ॥
dhoomr dhanukh kar chhakayo baan dhoomare suhaae |
There are black arrows for his block how
ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਨਾਗ ਭੁਜੰਗ ਜਛ ਅਰੁ ਅਸੁਰ ਲਜਾਏ ॥
sur nar naag bhujang jachh ar asur lajaae |
Seeing him the gods, men serpents, Yakshas and demons feel shy
ਇਹ ਛਬਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਆਲਸ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਜੁਧ ਕਹ ਜੁਟ ਹੈ ॥
eih chhab prabhaav aalas nripat jidin judh keh jutt hai |
ਉਦਮ ਬਿਹੀਨ ਸੁਨ ਰੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਉਰ ਸਕਲ ਦਲ ਫੁਟ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੯॥
audam biheen sun re nripat aaur sakal dal futt hai |179|
O king! this impressive beauty is of Aalas (laziness) and O king! the day he will confront you for fighting, your army without diligence will be fragmented.179.
ਹਰਿਤ ਧੁਜਾ ਅਰੁ ਧਨੁਖ ਹਰਿਤ ਬਾਜੀ ਰਥ ਸੋਭੰਤ ॥
harit dhujaa ar dhanukh harit baajee rath sobhant |
ਹਰਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤਨ ਧਰੇ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਮਨ ਮੋਹੰਤ ॥
harat basatr tan dhare nirakh sur nar man mohant |
Seeing the one having green banner, green bow, green horses, green chariots and wearing green clothes on the body, the gods and men are allured
ਪਵਨ ਬੇਗ ਰਥ ਚਲਤ ਭ੍ਰਮਨ ਬਘੂਲਾ ਲਖਿ ਲਜਿਤ ॥
pavan beg rath chalat bhraman baghoolaa lakh lajit |
His chariot moving with the speed of wind, causes the deer to feel shy
ਸੁਨਤ ਸ੍ਰਵਨ ਚਕ ਸਬਦ ਮੇਘ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਸਜਿਤ ॥
sunat sravan chak sabad megh man meh sukh sajit |
Hearing his voice, the clouds feel happy in their mind
ਇਹ ਛਬਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਮਦ ਨਾਮ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਨਚਾਇ ਹੈ ॥
eih chhab prataap mad naam nrip jidin turang nachaae hai |
The day on which this individual named Garav (pride) will cause his horse to dance before you,
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਸੁਨ ਲੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸਸੁ ਸਮਰਿ ਨ ਦੂਸਰ ਜਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੦॥
bin ik bibek sun lai nripat sas samar na doosar jaae hai |180|
On that day none else will stay before him except Vivek.180.
ਅਸਿਤ ਧੁਜਾ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਅਸਿਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰੈ ਅਰੁ ਬਾਜੀ ॥
asit dhujaa saarathee asit basatrai ar baajee |
ਅਸਿਤ ਕਵਚ ਤਨ ਕਸੇ ਤਜਤ ਬਾਣਨ ਕੀ ਰਾਜੀ ॥
asit kavach tan kase tajat baanan kee raajee |

asit sakal tih baran asit lochan dukh maradan |
His colour is completely black, his eyes are black and he is the destroyer of sufferings
ਅਸਿਤ ਮਣਿਣ ਕੇ ਸਕਲ ਅੰਗਿ ਭੂਖਣ ਰੁਚਿ ਬਰਧਨ ॥
asit manin ke sakal ang bhookhan ruch baradhan |
The ornaments of black pearls increase the beauty of his limbs
ਅਸ ਕੁਵ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਬੀਰ ਦੁਰ ਧਰਖ ਅਤਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਸਮਰ ਕਹ ਸਜਿ ਹੈ ॥
as kuvrit beer dur dharakh at jidin samar keh saj hai |
The day on which that warriors named Kuvrati (evil pledge) will enter the field holding his bow,
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਧੀਰਜ ਬੀਰਤ ਤਜਿ ਅਉਰ ਸਕਲ ਦਲ ਭਜਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੧॥
bin ik dheeraj beerat taj aaur sakal dal bhaj hai |181|
The whole army will run away on that day except the one with endurance.181.
ਚਰਮ ਬਰਮ ਕਹ ਧਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਕੋ ਧਾਰਤ ॥
charam baram keh dhare dharam chhatree ko dhaarat |
ਅਜੈ ਜਾਨਿ ਆਪਨਹਿ ਸਰਬ ਰਣ ਸੁਭਟ ਪਚਾਰਤ ॥
ajai jaan aapaneh sarab ran subhatt pachaarat |
Wearing the armour of leather, accomplisher of the vow of Kshatriya challenges all and considers himself unconquerable
ਧਰਨ ਨ ਆਗੈ ਧੀਰ ਬੀਰ ਜਿਹ ਸਾਮੁਹ ਧਾਵਤ ॥
dharan na aagai dheer beer jih saamuh dhaavat |
No warrior stays against him and all the gods,
ਸੁਰ ਅਸੁਰ ਅਰੁ ਨਰ ਨਾਰਿ ਜਛ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤ ॥
sur asur ar nar naar jachh gandhrab gun gaavat |
Demons, Yakshas, Gandharvas, men, women all sing his praises
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਜਾ ਦਿਨ ਗਰਜ ਪਰਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਢੂਕ ਹੈ ॥
eih bidh gumaan jaa din garaj param krodh kar dtook hai |
The day on which this egoist, getting highly enraged will thunder and stand in front,
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਸੀਲ ਸੁਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਣਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਸਕਲ ਦਲ ਹੂਕ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੨॥
bin ik seel sun nripat nripaan su aaur sakal dal hook hai |182|
On that day, O king! all others will be destroyed except sheel (gentleness).182.
ਕੜਕਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰਿ ਚੜਗੁ ਭੜਕਿ ਭਾਦਵਿ ਜ︀ਯੋਂ ਗਜਤ ॥
karrak krodh kar charrag bharrak bhaadav jayon gajat |
ਸੜਕ ਤੇਗ ਦਾਮਿਨ ਤੜਕ ਤੜਭੜ ਰਣ ਸਜਤ ॥
sarrak teg daamin tarrak tarrabharr ran sajat |
He is the one who thunders like the clouds of Bhandon, who cracks the sword like the lightning,
ਲੁੜਕ ਲੁਥ ਬਿਥੁਰਗ ਸੇਲ ਸਾਮੁਹਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਘਲਤ ॥
lurrak luth bithurag sel saamuhi hvai ghalat |
And who scatters the fragments of the corpses of the warriors lying in front of him
ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੋਸ ਰਾਵਤ ਰਣਹਿ ਦੂਸਰ ਕੋ ਝਲਤ ॥
jidin ros raavat raneh doosar ko jhalat |
His anger cannot be endured by anyone in the war
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਤਿਹ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਭਨ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਰਸ ਮਚਿ ਹੈ ॥
eih bidh apamaan tih bhraat bhan jidin rudr ras mach hai |
The day on which the sentiment of anger becoming your comrade, becomes the cause of your dishonour,
ਬਿਨ ਇਕ ਸੀਲ ਦੁਸੀਲ ਭਟ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਕਵਣ ਰਣਿ ਰਚਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੩॥
bin ik seel duseel bhatt su aaur kavan ran rach hai |183|
On that day who will fight with him except the warrior named Sheel (gentleness).183.
ਧਨੁਖ ਮੰਡਲਾਕਾਰ ਲਗਤ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਸਦੀਵ ਰਣ ॥
dhanukh manddalaakaar lagat jaa ko sadeev ran |
ਨਿਰਖਤ ਤੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਭਟਕ ਭਾਜਤ ਹੈ ਭਟ ਗਣ ॥
nirakhat tej prabhaav bhattak bhaajat hai bhatt gan |
He, whose circular round is his bow and who is ever busy in fighting, seeing whose sharp influence, the warriors go astray and flee
ਕਉਨ ਬਾਧਿ ਤੇ ਧੀਰ ਬੀਰ ਨਿਰਖਤ ਦੁਤਿ ਲਾਜਤ ॥
kaun baadh te dheer beer nirakhat dut laajat |
Seeing him, the brilliance of the warrior drops endurance and becomes shy and
ਨਹਨ ਜੁਧ ਠਹਰਾਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਸਤ ਦਸਹੂੰ ਦਿਸ ਭਾਜਤ ॥
nehan judh tthaharaat trasat dasahoon dis bhaajat |
They run away, not staying anymore in the battlefield, fleeing in all the ten directions
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਅਨਰਥ ਸਮਰਥ ਰਣਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਮਟਕ ਹੈ ॥
eih bidh anarath samarath ran jidin turang mattak hai |
The day on which this warriors named Anarth (misfortune) will cause his horse to dance before you,
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਧੀਰ ਸੁਨ ਬੀਰ ਬਰੁ ਸੁ ਦੂਸਰ ਕਉਨ ਹਟਕਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੪॥
bin ik dheer sun beer bar su doosar kaun hattak hai |184|
O the superb one amongst the warriors! who will fight against him except EUNDURANCE.184.
ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤਨਿ ਧਰੇ ਧੁਜਾ ਪੀਅਰੀ ਰਥ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
preet basatr tan dhare dhujaa peearee rath dhaare |
That one is holding the yellow bow in his hand, wearing yellow garments on his body,
ਪੀਤ ਧਨੁਖ ਕਰਿ ਸੋਭ ਮਾਨ ਰਤਿ ਪਤਿ ਕੋ ਟਾਰੇ ॥
peet dhanukh kar sobh maan rat pat ko ttaare |
Having fixed the yellow banner on his chariot, he is the smasher of the pride of the god of love
ਪੀਤ ਬਰਣ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਪੀਤ ਬਰਣੈ ਰਥ ਬਾਜੀ ॥
peet baran saarathee peet baranai rath baajee |
His charioteer, chariot and horses all are of yellow colour
ਪੀਤ ਬਰਨ ਕੋ ਬਾਣ ਖੇਤਿ ਚੜਿ ਗਰਜਤ ਗਾਜੀ ॥
peet baran ko baan khet charr garajat gaajee |
His arrows are also of yellow colour and he thunders in the battlefield
ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬੈਰ ਸੂਰਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਗਰਜਿ ਦਲ ਗਾਹਿ ਹੈ ॥
eih bhaat bair sooraa nripat jidin garaj dal gaeh hai |
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਸਵਧਾਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਅਉਰ ਸਮਰ ਕੋ ਚਾਹਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੫॥
bin ik giaan savadhaan hvai aaur samar ko chaeh hai |185|
O king! the day on which this type of warriors named Vairabh (enmity) will roar and incite his army, on that day, who will fight with him except (Gian (knowledge).185.
ਮਲਿਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤਨਿ ਧਰੇ ਮਲਿਤ ਭੂਖਨ ਰਥ ਬਾਧੇ ॥
malit basatr tan dhare malit bhookhan rath baadhe |
ਮਲਿਤ ਮੁਕਟ ਸਿਰ ਧਰੇ ਪਰਮ ਬਾਣਣ ਕਹ ਸਾਧੇ ॥
malit mukatt sir dhare param baanan keh saadhe |
Wearing dirty clothes on the dirty body and heaving tied dirty ornaments with his chariot, with dirty crown on his head and the arrows fashioned for discharge
ਮਲਿਤ ਬਰਣ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਮਲਿਤ ਤਾਹੂੰ ਆਭੂਖਨ ॥
malit baran saarathee malit taahoon aabhookhan |
ਮਲਯਾਗਰ ਕੀ ਗੰਧ ਸਕਲ ਸਤ੍ਰੂ ਕੁਲ ਦੂਖਨ ॥
malayaagar kee gandh sakal satraoo kul dookhan |
And taking with him the charioteer of dirty colour and dirty ornamentation, this warrior with fragrance of sandal and the one agonizing his enemies,
ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਨਿੰਦ ਅਨਧਰ ਸੁਭਟ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਅਯੋਧਨ ਮਚਿ ਹੈ ॥
eih bhaat nind anadhar subhatt jidin ayodhan mach hai |
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਧੀਰਜ ਸੁਨ ਬੀਰ ਬਰ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਕਵਣ ਰਣਿ ਰਚਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੬॥
bin ik dheeraj sun beer bar su aaur kavan ran rach hai |186|
And named Ninda (slander), the day when he will begin his fighting, on that day, who will confront him except ENDURANCE.186.
ਘੋਰ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤਨਿ ਧਰੇ ਘੋਰ ਪਗੀਆ ਸਿਰ ਬਾਧੇ ॥
ghor basatr tan dhare ghor pageea sir baadhe |
ਘੋਰ ਬਰਣ ਸਿਰਿ ਮੁਕਟ ਘੋਰ ਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਕਹ ਸਾਧੇ ॥
ghor baran sir mukatt ghor satran keh saadhe |
Wearing dreadful clothes, dreadful turban and dreadful crown, reformer of the dreadful enemies,
ਘੋਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੁਖ ਜਪਤ ਪਰਮ ਆਘੋਰ ਰੂਪ ਤਿਹ ॥
ghor mantr mukh japat param aaghor roop tih |
ਲਖਤ ਸ੍ਵਰਗ ਭਹਰਾਤ ਘੋਰ ਆਭਾ ਲਖਿ ਕੈ ਜਿਹ ॥
lakhat svarag bhaharaat ghor aabhaa lakh kai jih |
Having dreadful form and repeating the dreadful mantra, seeing whom even the heaven becomes fearful,
ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਨਰਕ ਦੁਰ ਧਰਖ ਭਟ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੋਸਿ ਰਣਿ ਆਇ ਹੈ ॥
eih bhaat narak dur dharakh bhatt jidin ros ran aae hai |
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਹਰਿਨਾਮ ਸੁਨ ਹੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਕੋਇ ਬਚਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੭॥
bin ik harinaam sun ho nripat su aaur na koe bachaae hai |187|
That tyrannical warriors named Narak (Hell) the day when he in great rage will come for fighting, at that time, who will be able to save you except the Name of the Lord?187.
ਸਮਟ ਸਾਗ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹੈ ਸੇਲ ਸਾਮੁਹਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਸੁਟੈ ॥
samatt saag sangrahai sel saamuhi hvai suttai |
ਕਲਿਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਸੰਜੁਗਤਿ ਗਲਿਤ ਗੈਵਰ ਜਿਯੋਂ ਜੁਟੈ ॥
kalit krodh sanjugat galit gaivar jiyon juttai |
He, ho catches hold his lance while getting back and throws it while coming forward, he attacks in great rage like an animal, he cannot be controlled by one at a time
ਇਕ ਇਕ ਬਿਨੁ ਕੀਨ ਇਕ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਨ ਚਲੈ ॥
eik ik bin keen ik te ik na chalai |
ਇਕ ਇਕ ਸੰਗ ਭਿੜੈ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਝਲੈ ॥
eik ik sang bhirrai sasatr sanamukh hvai jhalai |
He fights with one at a time and facing him receives the blows from his weapons
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਨਸੀਲ ਦੁਸੀਲ ਭਟ ਸਹਤ ਕੁਚੀਲ ਜਬਿ ਗਰਜਿ ਹੈ ॥
eih bidh naseel duseel bhatt sehat kucheel jab garaj hai |
ਬਿਨੁ ਏਕ ਸੁਚਹਿ ਸੁਨਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਣਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਬਰਜਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੮॥
bin ek sucheh sun nrip nripan su aaur na koaoo baraj hai |188|
Such an unkind warrior, O king! when he will thunder in fury, then none else except the Purity of mind will be able to deal with him.188.
ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਦੋਊ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਸਬ ਬੇਦ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਰ ॥
sasatr asatr doaoo nipun nipun sab bed saasatr kar |
ਅਰੁਣ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਅਰੁ ਰਕਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਧ੍ਰਿਤਵਾਨ ਧਨੁਰਧਰ ॥
arun netr ar rakat basatr dhritavaan dhanuradhar |
Skilful in arms and weapons and scholar of Vedas and Shastras, having red eyes and wearing red garments, a patient archer,
ਬਿਕਟ ਬਾਕ੍ਰਯ ਬਡ ਡ੍ਰਯਾਛ ਬਡੋ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਧਰੇ ਮਨ ॥
bikatt baakray badd ddrayaachh baddo abhimaan dhare man |
ਅਮਿਤ ਰੂਪ ਅਮਿਤੋਜ ਅਭੈ ਆਲੋਕ ਅਜੈ ਰਨ ॥
amit roop amitoj abhai aalok ajai ran |
Having formidable and proud mind, with unlimited brilliance, unconquerable and lustrous,
ਅਸ ਸੁਭਟ ਛੁਧਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਸਬਲ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਰੰਗ ਰਣ ਰਚਿ ਹੈ ॥
as subhatt chhudhaa trisanaa sabal jidin rang ran rach hai |
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਨਿਗ੍ਰਹ ਬਿਨਾ ਅਉਰ ਜੀਅ ਨ ਲੈ ਬਚਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੮੯॥
bin ik nripat nigrah binaa aaur jeea na lai bach hai |189|
The warrior named HUNGER and THIRST, the day when he will precipitate the war, O king! you will survive only on the strength of persistence.189.
ਪਵਨ ਬੇਗ ਰਥ ਚਲਤ ਸੁ ਛਬਿ ਸਾਵਜ ਤੜਤਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ॥
pavan beg rath chalat su chhab saavaj tarrataa krit |
The beauty of the chariot moving with the speed of wind is like lightning
ਗਿਰਤ ਧਰਨ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ ਨੈਕ ਜਿਹ ਦਿਸਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਝਾਕਤ ॥
girat dharan sundaree naik jih dis fir jhaakat |
The pretty damsels only on seeing him fall on the earth
ਮਦਨ ਮੋਹ ਮਨ ਰਹਤ ਮਨੁਛ ਦੇਖਿ ਛਬਿ ਲਾਜਤ ॥
madan moh man rehat manuchh dekh chhab laajat |
The god of love is also fascinated by him and the human beings seeing his beauty feel shy
ਉਪਜਤ ਹੀਯ ਹੁਲਾਸ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਦੁਤਿ ਕਹ ਦੁਖ ਭਾਜਤ ॥
aupajat heey hulaas nirakh dut keh dukh bhaajat |
On seeing him, the heart is overjoyed and the affictions run away
ਇਮਿ ਕਪਟ ਦੇਵ ਅਨਜੇਵ ਨ੍ਰਿਪੁ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਝਟਕ ਦੈ ਧਾਇ ਹੈ ॥
eim kapatt dev anajev nrip jidin jhattak dai dhaae hai |
This warrior Kapal (deceit), O king! the day on which he will come forward with a jerk
ਬਿਨੁ ਏਕ ਸਾਤਿ ਸੁਨਹੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਕਵਨ ਸਮੁਹਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੦॥
bin ek saat sunaho nripat su aaur kavan samuhaae hai |190|
, Then who will confront him except Shannti (Peace) ? 190.
ਚਖਨ ਚਾਰੁ ਚੰਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਖੰਜਨ ਲਖਿ ਲਾਜਤ ॥
chakhan chaar chanchal prabhaav khanjan lakh laajat |
Seeing his beautiful eyes and feeling his mercurial influence, the birds named Khanjan (wagtail) feel shy
ਗਾਵਤ ਰਾਗ ਬਸੰਤ ਬੇਣ ਬੀਨਾ ਧੁਨਿ ਬਾਜਤ ॥
gaavat raag basant ben beenaa dhun baajat |
He sings Basant Raga and the lyre continues to be played near him
ਧਧਕਤ ਧ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ ਝਾਝ ਝਾਲਰ ਸੁਭ ਸੋਹਤ ॥
dhadhakat dhrikatt mridang jhaajh jhaalar subh sohat |
The sound of the drum and anklets etc. are heard near him
ਖਗ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਜਛ ਭੁਜੰਗ ਅਸੁਰ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਮਨ ਮੋਹਤ ॥
khag mrig jachh bhujang asur sur nar man mohat |
He allures the mind of all the birds, deer, Yakshas, serpents, demons, gods and men
ਅਸ ਲੋਭ ਨਾਮ ਜੋਧਾ ਬਡੋ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਜੁਧ ਕਹ ਜੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥
as lobh naam jodhaa baddo jidin judh keh jutt hai |
The day on which this mighty warriors Lobh (greed) will come forward for war,
ਜਸ ਪਵਨ ਬੇਗ ਤੇ ਮੇਘ ਗਣ ਸੁ ਅਸ ਤਵ ਸਬ ਦਲ ਫੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੧॥
jas pavan beg te megh gan su as tav sab dal futt hai |191|
Then O king! all your army will be fragmented like the clouds before the wind.191.
ਧੁਜ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਬੀਜੁਰੀ ਭੁਜਾ ਭਾਰੀ ਜਿਹ ਰਾਜਤ ॥
dhuj pramaan beejuree bhujaa bhaaree jih raajat |
He, who is long like the banner and whose arm is like lighting
ਅਤਿ ਚੰਚਲ ਰਥ ਚਲਤ ਨਿਰਖ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਮੁਨਿ ਭਾਜਤ ॥
at chanchal rath chalat nirakh sur nar mun bhaajat |
His chariot is extremely speedy and seeing him, the gods, men and sages run away
ਅਧਿਕ ਰੂਪ ਅਮਿਤੋਜ ਅਮਿਟ ਜੋਧਾ ਰਣ ਦੁਹ ਕਰ ॥
adhik roop amitoj amitt jodhaa ran duh kar |
He is extremely pretty, an unconquerable warrior and performer of difficult tasks in the war
ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਲਗਤ ਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਕਹ ਰਿਪੁ ਹਰ ॥
at prataap balavant lagat satran keh rip har |
To his enemies he appears very powerful and their abductor
ਅਸ ਮੋਹ ਨਾਮ ਜੋਧਾ ਜਸ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਜੁਧ ਕਹ ਜੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥
as moh naam jodhaa jas jidin judh keh jutt hai |
ਬਿਨ ਇਕ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਅਬਿਚਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਅਉਰ ਸਕਲ ਦਲ ਫੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੨॥
bin ik bichaar abichaar nrip aaur sakal dal futt hai |192|
The day on which this warrior named Moh (attachment) will come for fighting, then all the injudicious army will be segmented except the judicious notion.192.
ਪਵਨ ਬੇਗ ਰਥ ਚਲਤ ਗਵਨ ਲਖਿ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਨਾਗਰ ॥
pavan beg rath chalat gavan lakh mohit naagar |
His chariot moves with the speed of wind and all the citizens are allured on seeing him
ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਅਮਿਤੋਜ ਅਜੈ ਪ੍ਰਤਮਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਧਰ ॥
at prataap amitoj ajai pratamaan prabhaadhar |
He is extremely glorious, unconquerable and beautiful
ਅਤਿ ਬਲਿਸਟ ਅਧਿਸਟ ਸਕਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਕਹੁ ਜਾਨਹੁ ॥
at balisatt adhisatt sakal sainaa kahu jaanahu |
He is extremely powerful and master of all forces
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਮ ਬਢਿਯਾਛ ਬਡੋ ਜੋਧਾ ਜੀਅ ਮਾਨਹੁ ॥
krodh naam badtiyaachh baddo jodhaa jeea maanahu |
This warrior is name Karodha (anger) and consider him the most powerful
ਧਰਿ ਅੰਗਿ ਕਵਚ ਧਰ ਪਨਚ ਕਰਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਮਟਕ ਹੈ ॥

ਸੇਤ ਹਸਤ ਆਰੂੜ ਢੁਰਤ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰਿ ਚਵਰ ਬਰ ॥

He has a lance in his hand and he is moving like the sun
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਦਿਪਤਿ ਦਾਮਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਹੀਯਰੇ ਪਛੁਤਾਵਤ ॥
nirakh dipat daamanee prabhaa heeyare pachhutaavat |
The lightning seeing his luster feels sorrowful also for its bedimmed radiance
ਅਸ ਦ੍ਰੋਹ ਨਾਮ ਜੋਧਾ ਬਡੋ ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
as droh naam jodhaa baddo at prabhaav tih jaaneeai |

O king! accepts subordination in water and on plain and in countries far and near.195.
ਤਬਲ ਬਾਜ ਘੁੰਘਰਾਰ ਸੀਸ ਕਲਗੀ ਜਿਹ ਸੋਹਤ ॥

He has long arms and is extremely brave, unconquerable and invinicible
ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਰਮ ਅਨਭਿਦ ਭਟ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਕ੍ਰੁਧ ਜੀਯ ਧਾਰ ਹੈ ॥

ਬਿਨ ਇਕ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਅਬਿਚਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਆਨਿ ਉਬਾਰਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੬॥
bin ik bichaar abichaar nrip sas aaur na aan ubaar hai |196|
The day on which this indiscriminate warrior named Bharma (illusion) will get enraged in his mind, then O king! No one will be able to redeem you except Vivek (Reason).196.
ਲਾਲ ਮਾਲ ਸੁਭ ਬਧੈ ਨਗਨ ਸਰਪੇਚਿ ਖਚਿਤ ਸਿਰ ॥
laal maal subh badhai nagan sarapech khachit sir |
ਅਤਿ ਬਲਿਸਟ ਅਨਿਭੇਦ ਅਜੈ ਸਾਵੰਤ ਭਟਾਬਰ ॥

ਮਤਸ ਕੇਤੁ ਲਖਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਲਾਜਤ ਹੈ ਦੁਤਿ ਮਨਿ ॥
matas ket lakh jaeh hridai laajat hai dut man |
Seeing his beauty, even the god of love feels shy
ਅਸ ਝੂਠ ਰੂਠਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਰਣਹਿ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਉਥਕਿ ਹੈ ॥
as jhootth rootth jidin nripat raneh turang uthak hai |
The day on which warriors named Jhooth (falsehood) will cause his horse to dance before you in great anger,
ਬਿਨੁ ਇਕ ਸਤਿ ਸੁਣ ਸਤਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਆਨਿ ਹਟਕਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੯॥
bin ik sat sun sat nrip su aaur na aan hattak hai |199|
Then O king! consider it as true, no one can defeat him except Truth.199.
ਰਥ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਸਿਤ ਅਸਿਤ ਅਸਿਤ ਸਿਤ ਧੁਜਾ ਬਿਰਾਜਤ ॥
rath turang sit asit asit sit dhujaa biraajat |
He, whose war-horse is black and white, whose banner is black and
ਅਸਿਤ ਸੇਤਹਿ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਮੁਨਿ ਲਾਜਤ ॥
asit seteh basatr nirakh sur nar mun laajat |
Seeing whose black and white garments, the gods, men and sages feel shy
ਅਸਿਤ ਸੇਤ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਅਸਿਤ ਸੇਤ ਛਕਿਓ ਰਥਾਬਰ ॥

He whose charioteer is black and white and whose quiver and chariot aree alos black

ਜਿਹ ਜਗਤ ਜੀਵ ਜੀਤੇ ਸਬੈ ਨਹਿ ਅਜੀਤ ਨਰ ਕੋ ਰਹ︀ਯੋ ॥੨੦੦॥
jih jagat jeev jeete sabai neh ajeet nar ko rehayo |200|
He has conquered all the beings of he world and none has remained untouched by him.200.
ਚਕ੍ਰ ਬਕ੍ਰ ਕਰ ਧਰੇ ਚਾਰੁ ਬਾਗਾ ਤਨਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
chakr bakr kar dhare chaar baagaa tan dhaare |
He is wearing the curved discus and fine garments on his body
ਆਨਨ ਖਾਤ ਤੰਬੋਲ ਗੰਧਿ ਉਤਮ ਬਿਸਥਾਰੇ ॥

ਚਵਰੁ ਚਾਰੁ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰਿ ਢੁਰਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਛਬਿ ਪਾਵਤ ॥
chavar chaar chahoon or dturat sundar chhab paavat |
The fly-whisk is swinging on all the four sides and the setting is very fine
ਨਿਰਖਤ ਨੈਨ ਬਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਤਾਕਹ ਸਿਰ ਨ︀ਯਾਵਤ ॥
nirakhat nain basant prabhaa taakah sir nayaavat |
Seeing him, the glory of spring bows its head
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਸੁਬਾਹੁ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਸੁਭਟ ਅਤਿ ਦੁਰ ਧਰਖ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥
eih bidh subaahu chintaa subhatt at dur dharakh bakhaaneeai |
