ਏਕ ਸਮੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਕੁੰਜਨ ਮੈ ਮੁਹਿ ਕਾਨਨ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਤਟੰਕ ਧਰਾਏ ॥

ek samai brij kunjan mai muhi kaanan sayaam tattank dharaae |

Once in the alvoces of Braja, Krishna bedecked me with ear-pendants which were studded with very precious stones

ਕੰਚਨ ਕੇ ਬਹੁ ਮੋਲ ਜਰੇ ਨਗ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਕੈ ਉਪਮਾ ਨ ਗਨਾਏ ॥

kanchan ke bahu mol jare nag braham sakai upamaa na ganaae |

Their praise could not even be uttered by Brahma

ਬਜ੍ਰ ਲਗੇ ਜਿਨ ਬੀਚ ਛਟਾ ਚਮਕੈ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰਿ ਧਰਾ ਛਬਿ ਪਾਏ ॥

bajr lage jin beech chhattaa chamakai chahoon or dharaa chhab paae |

Just as the lightning flashes in the clouds, their beauty was just like that

ਤਉਨ ਸਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਵੈ ਦਏ ਊਧਵ ਦੈ ਅਬ ਰਾਵਲ ਭੇਖ ਪਠਾਏ ॥੯੦੯॥

taun samai har vai de aoodhav dai ab raaval bhekh patthaae |909|

O Udhava! Krishna gave all these at that time, but now he, having clad you in the garb of yogi, has sent to us.909.

ਏਕ ਕਹੈ ਹਮ ਜੋਗਨਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਹੈ ਕਹੈ ਇਕ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਹੀ ਕਰੈਂਗੀ ॥

ek kahai ham jogan hvai hai kahai ik sayaam kahiyo hee karaingee |

ਡਾਰਿ ਬਿਭੂਤਿ ਸਭੈ ਤਨ ਪੈ ਬਟੂਆ ਚਿਪੀਆ ਕਰ ਬੀਚ ਧਰੈਂਗੀ ॥

ddaar bibhoot sabhai tan pai battooaa chipeea kar beech dharaingee |

Some gopi said that they would become yogins according to the saying of Krishna and rub ashes on the body and carry begging bowls

ਏਕ ਕਹੈ ਹਮ ਜਾਹਿ ਤਹਾ ਇਕ ਯੌ ਕਹੈ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿ ਖਾਇ ਮਰੈਂਗੀ ॥

ek kahai ham jaeh tahaa ik yau kahai gvaaran khaae maraingee |

Someone said that they would go to Krishna and die there on taking poison

ਏਕ ਕਹੈ ਬਿਰਹਾਗਨਿ ਕੋ ਉਪਜਾਇ ਕੈ ਤਾਹੀ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ਜਰੈਂਗੀ ॥੯੧੦॥

ek kahai birahaagan ko upajaae kai taahee ke sang jaraingee |910|

Someone said that they would produce the fire of separation and burn themselves in it.910.
