ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਧੁਨਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਜੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਵਜਾਏ ।

akath kathaa veechaar kai usatat nindaa varaj rahaae |

ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਅਵੇਸੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਿਠਾ ਬੋਲਣੁ ਮਨ ਪਰਚਾਏ ।

gur upades aves kar mitthaa bolan man parachaae |

Allowing the Guru's instruction to enter their hearts they speak politely and thus comfort one another.

ਜਾਇ ਮਿਲਨਿ ਗੁੜ ਕੀੜਿਆਂ ਰਖੈ ਰਖਣਹਾਰੁ ਲੁਕਾਏ ।

jaae milan gurr keerriaan rakhai rakhanahaar lukaae |

The Sikhs' virtues cannot be concealed. As a man may hide mollasses, but ants will discover it.
