ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਸਫਲ ਘੜੀ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਣੀ ॥

dhan dhan suhaavee safal gharree jit har sevaa man bhaanee |

Blessed, blessed, beauteous and fruitful is that moment, when service to the Lord becomes pleasing to the mind.

ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਾਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਕਥ ਕਹਾਣੀ ॥

har kathaa sunaavahu mere gurasikhahu mere har prabh akath kahaanee |

So proclaim the story of the Lord, O my GurSikhs; speak the Unspoken Speech of my Lord God.

ਕਿਉ ਪਾਈਐ ਕਿਉ ਦੇਖੀਐ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੁਘੜੁ ਸੁਜਾਣੀ ॥

kiau paaeeai kiau dekheeai meraa har prabh sugharr sujaanee |

How can I attain Him? How can I see Him? My Lord God is All-knowing and All-seeing.

ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਆਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨੀ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥

har mel dikhaae aap har gur bachanee naam samaanee |

Through the Word of the Guru's Teachings, the Lord reveals Himself; we merge in absorption in the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਤਿਨ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਜੋ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੀ ॥੧੦॥

tin vittahu naanak vaariaa jo japade har nirabaanee |10|

Nanak is a sacrifice unto those who meditate on the Lord of Nirvaanaa. ||10||
