ਜਪ ਤਪ ਹਠਿ ਨਿਗ੍ਰਹ ਘਣੇ ਚਉਦਹ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਵੇਦ ਵਖਾਣੇ ।
jap tap hatth nigrah ghane chaudah vidiaa ved vakhaane |
Recitations, austerities, persistences, many renunciaitions explanations on Vedas and all the fourteen skills are known in the world.
ਸੇਖਨਾਗ ਸਨਕਾਦਿਕਾਂ ਲੋਮਸ ਅੰਤੁ ਅਨੰਤ ਨ ਜਾਣੇ ।
sekhanaag sanakaadikaan lomas ant anant na jaane |
Even Sesanag, Sanaks, and rishi Lomas do not know the mystery of that infinite.
ਜਤੀ ਸਤੀ ਸੰਤੋਖੀਆਂ ਸਿਧ ਨਾਥ ਹੋਇ ਨਾਥ ਭੁਲਾਣੇ ।
jatee satee santokheean sidh naath hoe naath bhulaane |
Celebates, follower of truth, contented ones, siddhs, naths(yogis) all becoming masterless are wandering in delusions.
ਪੀਰ ਪੈਕੰਬਰ ਅਉਲੀਏ ਬੁਜਰਕਵਾਰ ਹਜਾਰ ਹੈਰਾਣੇ ।
peer paikanbar aaulee bujarakavaar hajaar hairaane |
Searching Him all the pars, prophets, auliyas and thousands of old men are wonderstruck (because they could not know Him).
ਜੋਗ ਭੋਗ ਲਖ ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਲਖ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਵਿਜੋਗ ਵਿਡਾਣੇ ।
jog bhog lakh rog sog lakh sanjog vijog viddaane |
Yogas (austerties), bhogs (joys), lacs of ailments, sufferings and separations, all are illusions.
ਦਸ ਨਾਉਂ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀਆਂ ਭੰਭਲਭੂਸੇ ਖਾਇ ਭੁਲਾਣੇ ।
das naaun saniaaseean bhanbhalabhoose khaae bhulaane |
Ten sects of sannyasis are wandering in delusions.
ਗੁਰੁ ਸਿਖ ਜੋਗੀ ਜਾਗਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਭੇ ਬਨਵਾਸੁ ਲੁਕਾਣੇ ।
gur sikh jogee jaagade hor sabhe banavaas lukaane |
Disciple yogis of the Guru always remain alert whereas others have hidden themselves in the jungles, i.e. they are unconcerned with the problems of the world.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਖਾਣੇ ।੧੩।
