Malaar, Fifth Mehl:

ਆਜੁ ਮੈ ਬੈਸਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਹਾਟ ॥

aaj mai baisio har haatt |

Today, I am seated in the Lord's store.

ਨਾਮੁ ਰਾਸਿ ਸਾਝੀ ਕਰਿ ਜਨ ਸਿਉ ਜਾਂਉ ਨ ਜਮ ਕੈ ਘਾਟ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

naam raas saajhee kar jan siau jaanau na jam kai ghaatt |1| rahaau |

With the wealth of the Lord, I have entered into partnership with the humble; I shall not have take the Highway of Death. ||1||Pause||

ਧਾਰਿ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਕੇ ਖੁਲੑੇ ਕਪਾਟ ॥

dhaar anugrahu paarabraham raakhe bhram ke khulae kapaatt |

Showering me with His Kindness, the Supreme Lord God has saved me; the doors of doubt have been opened wide.

ਬੇਸੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਲਾਹਾ ਚਰਨ ਨਿਧਿ ਖਾਟ ॥੧॥

besumaar saahu prabh paaeaa laahaa charan nidh khaatt |1|

I have found God, the Banker of Infinity; I have earned the profit of the wealth of His Feet. ||1||

ਸਰਨਿ ਗਹੀ ਅਚੁਤ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਕਾਢੇ ਹੈ ਛਾਂਟਿ ॥

saran gahee achut abinaasee kilabikh kaadte hai chhaantt |

I have grasped the protection of the Sanctuary of the Unchanging, Unmoving, Imperishable Lord; He has picked up my sins and thrown them out.

ਕਲਿ ਕਲੇਸ ਮਿਟੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਜੋਨੀ ਮਾਟ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੧੪॥

kal kales mitte daas naanak bahur na jonee maatt |2|10|14|

Slave Nanak's sorrow and suffering has ended. He shall never again be squeezed into the mold of reincarnation. ||2||10||14||
