ਜਹਾਗੀਰ ਸੁਨਿ ਬਚਨ ਡਰਾਨ੍ਰਯੋ ॥

ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕੋ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਅਧਿਕ ਜਿਯ ਮਾਨ︀ਯੋ ॥

triy ko traas adhik jiy maanayo |

After hearing this, Jehangir was dreaded, and he became fearful of women.

ਸਿੰਘ ਹਨਤ ਜਿਹ ਲਗੀ ਨ ਬਾਰਾ ॥

singh hanat jih lagee na baaraa |

ਤਿਹ ਆਗੇ ਕ︀ਯਾ ਮਨੁਖ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥੨੪॥

tih aage kayaa manukh bichaaraa |24|
