ਲਖ ਲਖ ਰੂਪ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਨੂਪ ਸਿਧਾਵਹੀ ।

lakh lakh roop saroop anoop sidhaavahee |

Millions of beauteous persons come to and go from this world

ਰੰਗ ਬਿਰੰਗ ਸੁਰੰਗ ਤਰੰਗ ਬਣਾਵਹੀ ।

rang birang surang tarang banaavahee |

Millions of beauteous persons come to and go from this world and perform variegated activities.

ਰਾਗ ਨਾਦ ਵਿਸਮਾਦ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਗਾਵਹੀ ।

raag naad visamaad gun nidh gaavahee |

The rags (melodies) and nods (sounds) also being wonder-struck eulogise that ocean of attributes (the Lord).

ਰਸ ਕਸ ਲਖ ਸੁਆਦ ਚਖਿ ਚਖਾਵਹੀ ।

ras kas lakh suaad chakh chakhaavahee |

Millions taste and make others taste the edibles and inedibles.

ਗੰਧ ਸੁਗੰਧ ਕਰੋੜਿ ਮਹਿ ਮਹਕਾਵਈ ।

gandh sugandh karorr meh mahakaavee |

Crores of people manage to make others enjoy the fragrance and varied smells.

ਗੈਰ ਮਹਲਿ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਮਹਲੁ ਨ ਪਾਵਹੀ ।੫।

gair mehal sulataan mehal na paavahee |5|

But those who consider the Lord of this (body) mansion as an alien, they all cannot attain His mansion.
