ਤਿਹ ਜੁਗਿਯਹਿ ਲਖਿ ਰਾਇ ਰੀਝਿ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਰਹਿਯੋ ॥

tih jugiyeh lakh raae reejh chit mai rahiyo |

ਜਾ ਤੇ ਕਛੁ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹੌ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮਨ ਮੋ ਚਹਿਯੋ ॥

jaa te kachh sangrahau mantr man mo chahiyo |

The Raja was contented to see an ascetic and thought he could learn a few charms from her.

ਤਿਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਦਿਯੋ ਪਠਾਇਕ ਦੂਤ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥

tih grihi diyo patthaaeik doot bulaae kai |

ਹੋ ਕਲਾ ਸਿਖਨ ਕੇ ਹੇਤ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਝਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੮॥

ho kalaa sikhan ke het mantr samajhaae kai |8|
