Gauree, Fifth Mehl:

ਹਿਰਦੈ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਾਰੇ ॥

hiradai charan kamal prabh dhaare |

I have enshrined the Lotus Feet of God within my heart.

ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥੧॥

poore satigur mil nisataare |1|

Meeting the Perfect True Guru, I am emancipated. ||1||

ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥

govind gun gaavahu mere bhaaee |

Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, O my Siblings of Destiny.

ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

mil saadhoo har naam dhiaaee |1| rahaau |

Joining the Holy Saints, meditate on the Lord's Name. ||1||Pause||

ਦੁਲਭ ਦੇਹ ਹੋਈ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥

dulabh deh hoee paravaan |

This human body, so difficult to obtain, is redeemed

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਮ ਨੀਸਾਨੁ ॥੨॥

satigur te paaeaa naam neesaan |2|

when one receives the banner of the Naam from the True Guru. ||2||

ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

har simarat pooran pad paaeaa |

Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, the state of perfection is attained.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਭੈ ਭਰਮ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੩॥

saadhasang bhai bharam mittaaeaa |3|

In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, fear and doubt depart. ||3||

ਜਤ ਕਤ ਦੇਖਉ ਤਤ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥

jat kat dekhau tat rahiaa samaae |

Wherever I look, there I see the Lord pervading.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਇ ॥੪॥੬੯॥੧੩੮॥

naanak daas har kee saranaae |4|69|138|

Slave Nanak has entered the Lord's Sanctuary. ||4||69||138||
