Salok:

ਪਤਿਤ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਹ ਸਰਬ ਦੋਖ ਨਿਵਾਰਣਹ ॥

patit puneet gobindah sarab dokh nivaaranah |

The Lord of the Universe is the Purifier of sinners; He is the Dispeller of all distress.

ਸਰਣਿ ਸੂਰ ਭਗਵਾਨਹ ਜਪੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ॥੧॥

saran soor bhagavaanah japant naanak har har hare |1|

The Lord God is Mighty, giving His Protective Sanctuary; Nanak chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||

ਛਡਿਓ ਹਭੁ ਆਪੁ ਲਗੜੋ ਚਰਣਾ ਪਾਸਿ ॥

chhaddio habh aap lagarro charanaa paas |

Renouncing all self-conceit, I hold tight to the Lord's Feet.

ਨਠੜੋ ਦੁਖ ਤਾਪੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪੇਖੰਦਿਆ ॥੨॥

nattharro dukh taap naanak prabh pekhandiaa |2|

My sorrows and troubles have departed, O Nanak, beholding God. ||2||
