Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਰਸਨਾ ਰਾਮ ਕੋ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਉ ॥

rasanaa raam ko jas gaau |

O my tongue, sing the Praises of the Lord.

ਆਨ ਸੁਆਦ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਸਗਲੇ ਭਲੋ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਆਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

aan suaad bisaar sagale bhalo naam suaau |1| rahaau |

Abandon all other tastes and flavors; the taste of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is so sublime. ||1||Pause||

ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਬਸਾਇ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਏਕ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਉ ॥

charan kamal basaae hiradai ek siau liv laau |

Enshrine the Lord's Lotus Feet within your heart; let yourself be lovingly attuned to the One Lord.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਹੋਹਿ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਜੋਨਿ ਨ ਆਉ ॥੧॥

saadhasangat hohi niramal bahurr jon na aau |1|

In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, you shall become immaculate and pure; you shall not come to be reincarnated again. ||1||

ਜੀਉ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਤੂ ਨਿਥਾਵੇ ਥਾਉ ॥

jeeo praan adhaar teraa too nithaave thaau |

You are the Support of the soul and the breath of life; You are the Home of the homeless.

ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਮੑਾਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥੨॥੬੧॥੮੪॥

saas saas samaal har har naanak sad bal jaau |2|61|84|

With each and every breath, I dwell on the Lord, Har, Har; O Nanak, I am forever a sacrifice to Him. ||2||61||84||
