Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:

ਸੁਖ ਸਾਂਦਿ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ॥

sukh saand ghar aaeaa |

Safe and sound, I have returned home.

ਨਿੰਦਕ ਕੈ ਮੁਖਿ ਛਾਇਆ ॥

nindak kai mukh chhaaeaa |

The slanderer's face is blackened with ashes.

ਪੂਰੈ ਗੁਰਿ ਪਹਿਰਾਇਆ ॥

poorai gur pahiraaeaa |

The Perfect Guru has dressed in robes of honor.

ਬਿਨਸੇ ਦੁਖ ਸਬਾਇਆ ॥੧॥

binase dukh sabaaeaa |1|

All my pains and sufferings are over. ||1||

ਸੰਤਹੁ ਸਾਚੇ ਕੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥

santahu saache kee vaddiaaee |

O Saints, this is the glorious greatness of the True Lord.

ਜਿਨਿ ਅਚਰਜ ਸੋਭ ਬਣਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jin acharaj sobh banaaee |1| rahaau |

He has created such wonder and glory! ||1||Pause||

ਬੋਲੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੈ ਭਾਣੈ ॥

bole saahib kai bhaanai |

I speak according to the Will of my Lord and Master.

ਦਾਸੁ ਬਾਣੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਵਖਾਣੈ ॥

daas baanee braham vakhaanai |

God's slave chants the Word of His Bani.

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ॥

naanak prabh sukhadaaee |

O Nanak, God is the Giver of peace.

ਜਿਨਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਬਣਤ ਬਣਾਈ ॥੨॥੨੦॥੮੪॥

jin pooree banat banaaee |2|20|84|

He has created the perfect creation. ||2||20||84||
