ਬਹੁ ਬਰਿਸਨ ਲਗਿ ਜਾਨਿ ਸੇਵ ਗੁਰ ਕੀਜਿਯੈ ॥

ਜਤਨ ਕੋਟਿ ਕਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਸੁ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਹਿ ਲੀਜਿਯੈ ॥

jatan kott kar bahur su mantreh leejiyai |

A long time, with great efforts, the charms are learnt.

ਜਾਹਿ ਅਰਥ ਕੇ ਹੇਤ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਹੁਰਾਇਯੈ ॥

jaeh arath ke het sees nihuraaeiyai |

‘You bow your head before him and

ਹੋ ਕਹੋ ਚਤੁਰਿ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਕ︀ਯੋਨ ਕੇਲ ਮਚਾਇਯੈ ॥੧੯॥

ho kaho chatur taa sau kayon kel machaaeiyai |19|
