ਸੁਨੀ ਦੇਵ ਬਾਨੀ ॥

sunee dev baanee |

ਚੜੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਨੀ ॥

charree singh raanee |

Listening to the talk of the gods, the queen (goddess) munted the lion.

ਸੁਭੰ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰੇ ॥

subhan sasatr dhaare |

ਸਭੇ ਪਾਪ ਟਾਰੇ ॥੧੧॥੪੯॥

sabhe paap ttaare |11|49|

She had worn all her auspicious weapons and she is the one who effaces all the sins.11.49.

ਕਰੋ ਨਦ ਨਾਦੰ ॥

karo nad naadan |

ਮਹਾ ਮਦ ਮਾਦੰ ॥

mahaa mad maadan |

The goddess commanded that highly inebriating trumpets besounded.

ਭਯੋ ਸੰਖ ਸੋਰੰ ॥

bhayo sankh soran |

ਸੁਣਿਯੋ ਚਾਰ ਓਰੰ ॥੧੨॥੫੦॥

suniyo chaar oran |12|50|

Then the conches created great noise, which was heard. In all the four directions.12.50.

ਉਤੇ ਦੈਤ ਧਾਏ ॥

aute dait dhaae |

ਬਡੀ ਸੈਨ ਲਿਆਏ ॥

baddee sain liaae |

The demons marched forward and brought great forces.

ਮੁਖੰ ਰਕਤ ਨੈਣੰ ॥

mukhan rakat nainan |

ਬਕੇ ਬੰਕ ਬੈਣੰ ॥੧੩॥੫੧॥

bake bank bainan |13|51|

Their faces and eyes were red like blood and they shouted prickig words.13.51.

ਚਵੰ ਚਾਰ ਢੂਕੇ ॥

chavan chaar dtooke |

ਮੁਖੰ ਮਾਰੁ ਕੂਕੇ ॥

mukhan maar kooke |

Four types of forces rushed and shouted from their mouths: “Kill, Kill”.

ਲਏ ਬਾਣ ਪਾਣੰ ॥

le baan paanan |

ਸੁ ਕਾਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣੰ ॥੧੪॥੫੨॥

su kaatee kripaanan |14|52|

They took up in their hands the arrows, daggers and swords.14.52.

ਮੰਡੇ ਮਧ ਜੰਗੰ ॥

mandde madh jangan |

ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੰ ਖਤੰਗੰ ॥

prahaaran khatangan |

They are all active in warfare and shoot arrows.

ਕਰਉਤੀ ਕਟਾਰੰ ॥

ਉਠੀ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਝਾਰੰ ॥੧੫॥੫੩॥

The weapons like swods and daggers glisten.15.53.

ਮਹਾ ਬੀਰ ਢਾਏ ॥

mahaa beer dtaae |

ਸਰੋਘੰ ਚਲਾਏ ॥

saroghan chalaae |

The great heroes rushed forward and many on them shot arrows.

ਕਰੈ ਬਾਰਿ ਬੈਰੀ ॥

karai baar bairee |

ਫਿਰੇ ਜ︀ਯੋ ਗੰਗੈਰੀ ॥੧੬॥੫੪॥

They strike blows on the enemy with much swiftness like the watter-bird.16.54.
