Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:

ਗੋਬਿਦੁ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਹੋਆ ਕਲਿਆਣੁ ॥

gobid simar hoaa kaliaan |

Meditating in remembrance on the Lord of the Universe, I am emancipated.

ਮਿਟੀ ਉਪਾਧਿ ਭਇਆ ਸੁਖੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਜਾਣੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

mittee upaadh bheaa sukh saachaa antarajaamee simariaa jaan |1| rahaau |

Suffering is eradicated, and true peace has come, meditating on the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. ||1||Pause||

ਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਜੀਅ ਤਿਨਿ ਕੀਏ ਸੁਖਾਲੇ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਕਉ ਸਾਚਾ ਤਾਣੁ ॥

jis ke jeea tin kee sukhaale bhagat janaa kau saachaa taan |

All beings belong to Him - He makes them happy. He is the true power of His humble devotees.

ਦਾਸ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕੀ ਆਪੇ ਰਾਖੀ ਭੈ ਭੰਜਨ ਊਪਰਿ ਕਰਤੇ ਮਾਣੁ ॥੧॥

daas apune kee aape raakhee bhai bhanjan aoopar karate maan |1|

He Himself saves and protects His slaves, who believe in their Creator, the Destroyer of fear. ||1||

ਭਈ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਾਈ ਮਿਟੀ ਬੁਰਾਈ ਦ੍ਰੁਸਟ ਦੂਤ ਹਰਿ ਕਾਢੇ ਛਾਣਿ ॥

bhee mitraaee mittee buraaee drusatt doot har kaadte chhaan |

I have found friendship, and hatred has been eradicated; the Lord has rooted out the enemies and villains.

ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਘਨੇਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣਹ ਵਖਾਣਿ ॥੨॥੨੬॥੧੧੨॥

sookh sehaj aanand ghanere naanak jeevai har gunah vakhaan |2|26|112|

Nanak has been blessed with celestial peace and poise and total bliss; chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, he lives. ||2||26||112||
