ਕੋਪ ਕੀਏ ਸਬ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੀਏ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਮਿਲ ਕੈ ਤਿਹ ਪੈ ਤਬ ਆਏ ॥

kop kee sab sasatr lee kar mai mil kai tih pai tab aae |

In great rage, taking their weapons in their hands, all of them together fell upon the king

ਭੂਪ ਨਿਖੰਗ ਤੇ ਕਾਢ ਕੈ ਬਾਨ ਕਮਾਨ ਕੋ ਤਾਨਿ ਸੁ ਖੈਚ ਚਲਾਏ ॥

bhoop nikhang te kaadt kai baan kamaan ko taan su khaich chalaae |

The king, taking out the arrows from his quiver, discharged them, pulling his bow

ਹੋਤ ਭਏ ਬਿਰਥੀ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੂਤ ਘਨੇ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਜਮਲੋਕਿ ਪਠਾਏ ॥

hot bhe birathee bin soot ghane tab hee jamalok patthaae |

The warriors and charioteers were deprived of their chariots and the king dispatched them to the abode of Yama

ਠਾਢੋ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਰਹਿਓ ਤਿਹ ਠੌਰ ਸਬੈ ਗਨ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਜਛ ਪਰਾਏ ॥੧੪੯੩॥

None of them could stay at that place all the Yakshas and Kinnars fled away.1493.

ਰੋਸ ਘਨੋ ਨਲ ਕੂਬਰ ਕੈ ਸੁ ਫਿਰਿਯੋ ਲਰਬੇ ਕਹੁ ਬੀਰ ਬੁਲਾਏ ॥

ਸਉਹੇ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਭਯੋ ਧਨੁ ਲੈ ਸਰ ਜਛ ਜਿਤੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੈ ਪੁਨਿ ਆਏ ॥

sauhe kuber bhayo dhan lai sar jachh jite mil kai pun aae |

Kuber also stood there keeping his wealth in safety, all the Yakshas then came collectively

ਮਾਰ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿ ਪਰੇ ਸਬ ਹੀ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਅਸਿ ਲੈ ਚਮਕਾਏ ॥

maar hee maar pukaar pare sab hee kar mai as lai chamakaae |

ਮਾਨਹੁ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਖੜਗੇਸ ਕੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਦੰਡ ਲੀਏ ਜਮ ਕੇ ਗਨ ਧਾਏ ॥੧੪੯੪॥
