ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਪਰਮਾਦਿ ਅਚਰਜੁ ਆਖੀਐ ।

aad purakh paramaad acharaj aakheeai |

The primeval Lord is said to be the supreme wonder.

ਆਦਿ ਅਨੀਲੁ ਅਨਾਦਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਨ ਸਾਖੀਐ ।

aad aneel anaad sabad na saakheeai |

The words also fail to tell about the beginning of that beginningless.

ਵਰਤੈ ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਨ ਗਲੀ ਗਾਖੀਐ ।

varatai aad jugaad na galee gaakheeai |

He operates in the time and even before the time primordial and mere discussions cannot explain Him.

ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲੁ ਅਛਲਾਦਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਖੀਐ ।

bhagat vachhal achhalaad sehaj subhaakheeai |

He, the protector and lover of the devotees is undeceivable known by the name of the equipoise.

ਉਨਮਨਿ ਅਨਹਦਿ ਨਾਦਿ ਲਿਵ ਅਭਿਲਾਖੀਐ ।

aunaman anahad naad liv abhilaakheeai |

The desire of the consciousness is to remain merged in His unstruck melody heard in the trance.

ਵਿਸਮਾਦੈ ਵਿਸਮਾਦ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਾਖੀਐ ।

visamaadai visamaad pooran paakheeai |

He, being full of all dimensions, is the wonder of the wonders.

ਪੂਰੈ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਕੇਵਲ ਕਾਖੀਐ ।੨੦।੨੧। ਇਕੀਹ ।

Now the only desire remains that the grace of the perfect Guru be with me (so that I may realise the Lord).
