ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਆਦਿਕ ਬੀਰ ਜਿਤੇ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਸਰ ਛੂਟਤ ਭੂ ਪਰ ਆਏ ॥

eindr te aadik beer jite tab hee sar chhoottat bhoo par aae |

ਰਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਅਗਨਾਯੁਧ ਲੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੋ ਲਖ ਕੈ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਚਲਾਏ ॥

raam bhanai aganaayudh lai nrip ko lakh kai kar kop chalaae |

As soon as the arrow was discharged, many mighty warriors like Indra manifested themselves on the earth and manking the king their target, they began to shoot the arrows of fire

ਭੂਪ ਸਰਾਸਨ ਲੈ ਸੁ ਕਟੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਸਰ ਲੈ ਸੁਰ ਕੇ ਤਨ ਲਾਏ ॥

bhoop saraasan lai su katte apane sar lai sur ke tan laae |

The king, taking his bow, intercepted those arrows and with his arrows, he wounded the manifested warriors

ਘਾਇਲ ਸ੍ਰਉਨ ਭਰੇ ਲਖਿ ਕੈ ਸੁਰ ਰਾਜ ਡਰੇ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੈ ਸਬ ਧਾਏ ॥੧੪੫੫॥

ghaaeil sraun bhare lakh kai sur raaj ddare mil kai sab dhaae |1455|

ਦੇਵ ਰਵਾਦਿਕ ਬੀਰ ਘਨੇ ਕਬਿ ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਭਨੇ ਅਤਿ ਕੋਪ ਤਏ ਹੈ ॥

dev ravaadik beer ghane kab sayaam bhane at kop te hai |

ਲੈ ਬਰਛੀ ਕਰਵਾਰ ਗਦਾ ਸੁ ਸਬੈ ਰਿਸਿ ਭੂਪ ਸੋ ਆਇ ਖਏ ਹੈ ॥

lai barachhee karavaar gadaa su sabai ris bhoop so aae khe hai |

The warriors glorious like sun, got enraged and taking lances, swords, maces etc., fought with the king Kharag Singh

ਆਨਿ ਇਕਤ੍ਰ ਭਏ ਰਨ ਮੈ ਜਸੁ ਤਾ ਛਬਿ ਕੇ ਕਬਿ ਭਾਖ ਦਏ ਹੈ ॥

aan ikatr bhe ran mai jas taa chhab ke kab bhaakh de hai |

ਭੂਪ ਕੇ ਬਾਨ ਸੁਗੰਧਿ ਕੇ ਲੈਬੇ ਕਉ ਭਉਰ ਮਨੋ ਇਕ ਠਉਰ ਭਏ ਹੈ ॥੧੪੫੬॥

bhoop ke baan sugandh ke laibe kau bhaur mano ik tthaur bhe hai |1456|

They all gathered together at one place like the god-like black bees gathered to take fragrance of flower-like arrows of the king.1456.
