Salok, Third Mehl:

ਜਿਨੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਬਹੁ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵਹਿ ਹੋਰਿ ॥

jinee naam visaariaa bahu karam kamaaveh hor |

Those who forget the Naam and do other things,

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਮ ਪੁਰਿ ਬਧੇ ਮਾਰੀਅਹਿ ਜਿਉ ਸੰਨੑੀ ਉਪਰਿ ਚੋਰ ॥੧॥

naanak jam pur badhe maareeeh jiau sanaee upar chor |1|

O Nanak, will be bound and gagged and beaten in the City of Death, like the thief caught red-handed. ||1||
