ਆਠ ਜਾਮ ਦੋਊ ਉਠਿ ਕਰਿ ਲਰੇ ॥

aatth jaam doaoo utth kar lare |

ਟੂਕਤ ਤਨੁਤ੍ਰਾਣਨ ਕੇ ਝਰੇ ॥

ttookat tanutraanan ke jhare |

ਅਧਿਕ ਲਰਾਈ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਮਚਈ ॥

adhik laraaee duhoon machee |

ਅਥ੍ਰਯੋ ਸੂਰ ਰੈਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਈ ॥੯੬॥

athrayo soor rain hvai gee |96|

ਚਾਰਿ ਬਾਜ ਬਿਸਿਖਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਮਾਰੇ ॥

chaar baaj bisikhan triy maare |

ਰਥ ਕੇ ਕਾਟਿ ਦੋਊ ਚਕ ਡਾਰੇ ॥

rath ke kaatt doaoo chak ddaare |

ਨਾਥ ਧੁਜਾ ਕਟਿ ਭੂਮਿ ਗਿਰਾਈ ॥

naath dhujaa katt bhoom giraaee |

ਸੂਤਿ ਦਿਯਾ ਜਮਲੋਕ ਪਠਾਈ ॥੯੭॥

soot diyaa jamalok patthaaee |97|

She cut off the husbands flag and threw it on the ground and sent the chariot-driver to the hell as well.(97)

ਸੁਭਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਹ ਪੁਨਿ ਸਰ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

subhatt singh keh pun sar maariyo |

ਮੂਰਛਿਤ ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਪਰ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥

moorachhit kar prithavee par ddaariyo |

ਬਿਨੁ ਸੁਧਿ ਭਏ ਤਾਹਿ ਲਖ ਲੀਨੋ ॥

bin sudh bhe taeh lakh leeno |

ਆਪੁ ਬੇਖਿ ਤਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕੋ ਕੀਨੋ ॥੯੮॥

aap bekh tih triy ko keeno |98|

Then she hit Subhat Singh with an arrow and made him to faint and disguised herself as his wife.(98)

ਰਥ ਤੇ ਉਤਰਿ ਬਾਰਿ ਲੈ ਆਈ ॥

rath te utar baar lai aaee |

ਕਾਨ ਲਾਗ ਕਰਿ ਬਾਤ ਸੁਨਾਈ ॥

kaan laag kar baat sunaaee |

She climbed down the chariot and brought water and said in his ears

ਸੁਨੋ ਨਾਥ ਮੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਤਿਹਾਰੀ ॥

suno naath mai triy tihaaree |

ਤੁਮ ਕੋ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਨ ਤੇ ਪ︀ਯਾਰੀ ॥੯੯॥

tum ko jo praanan te payaaree |99|

‘Listen my Master, I am your wife, and love you more than my life.’(99)
